"Okay I'm on my way." I hung up speeding to the hospital.

"It's always fucking something I swear." I cried stopping at a light.

"What happen nini ?" Jay asked me.

"Nothing just be still and sit back." I said shaking my head as tears dropped from face.

"Hello."I said as my voice cracked.

"You heard about tae?" Mat said.

"...yea I'm on the way now." I said after a pause.

"You crying dawg ?"

"What I suppose to do Mat, sit here and smile like I just ain't get a call saying he got shoot five times...that's crazy?!"

"Mat shut the fuck up talking to me real talk , you should have been with him when this shit happened, now he in the hospital fighting for his life like what the fuck and you asking why I'm crying. I have a whole child on the way, how will I explain that his or her dad died before she or he was born. Make it nake sense." I hung up.

"She was crying mad hard and shit , and I asked why she was crying and shit and she just went off on me saying why shouldn't she be crying , and how she gone explain to the baby that you was dead and shit , but she on the way to the hospital now" I shook my head.

"Yea we finna die." He said laying back in the hospital bed as a nurse came in.

"She her with the kids...you sure you want to go through with this...she looks like she kill people." She said with a yikes face.

"Okay." She left out and mani came in.

"....hey?" I said watching her walk over to tae wiping her face.

"So what happen ?" She said eyeing me.

"M." He said low and I walked by mani.

"Umm...its nun wring with tae..." I said and stepped back real quick as she got up and went by tae and he bust out laughing.

He fucked up.

"Deontae you serious ?" She said walking over to him.

"What I do man." He said scrunching his face up and she started beating his ass.

"DUMB ASS NIGGA. I HATE YOU!" She yelled ass she drug him out the bed still whooping his ass.

"Man mani move dawg." I said pulling her off him as she stomped on him and socked me in the lip and I sat her on the couch.

"I really cried my damn eyed out on the way here thinking that bitch fin to die and yah want me to calm down , get off me mat." She said shaking her leg.

"You pregnant beat his ass in 6 months." I said.

"I got some for his ass just wait." She said and I let her go.

"Please don't kill him."

"I'm not , get the fuck up." She said squatting down to him.

"Mann yo finna try to beat a nigga again." He said getting up with her.

"Why you do this dumb shit ?" She looked at him waiting for a answer.

"I was tryna get you to come hom-" she bust him the mouth real quick making me flintch.

"I was on my fucking way and you want to be childish. Now I'm really fin to do me." She left out slamming the door.

"She not finna do ha." He shrugged leaving out.

"Tae get the fuck from the door man like dead ass move." She said sniffing.

"Moe open the door , it's some important shit to talk about." I said twisting the knob.

She opened the door and walked off and I walked in closing it behind me.

"How you gone lock me out knowing you was gone let me in , crybaby ass." I flopped on the couch patting it to tell her to sit as she stared at me with her arms crossed.

"Man sit down , waiting time." She walked slow as hell to sit down.

"Ight from start to finish,  the reason I did the hospital shit to see if you was gone meep yo promise with me to never fold and give up on me no matter what goes on." I looked at her as she played with her fingers looking down.

"Stop playing with yo fingers and look at me."

"Cause all this is fin to be some shit I don't want to hear tae and I really don't have patience right now." She looked at me.

"Mannnn anyways , I got a court day tomorrow and it's a possibility I got to do time or get put on probation or bo-."

"See what I'm saying , how long this time would be ?" She sighed.

"Can I finish ? Thank you,  but it might be 6 months with probation or 2 years without. But if they don't got evidence that I killed makeirra I might get 6 months or just probation from other shit." I rubbed my face.

"....what about me and the baby?" Her voice started cracking.

"Don't even cry about this shit. Karma catching up to me mani and I just need you to stay on yo feet if I do have to do this time. It's not even that serious mama." I pulled her to me.

"Tae so much been going on this year and it's crazy. This might not be serious to you but it is to me and your not understanding that." She said crying on me.

"This not even the worst I have to go through after the rest of this shit come up. Just know I wouldn't leave you missing me." I rubbed her back looking at the TV.

" so after the court day what's next ?." She sniffed

"Depending on how long this shit take for them to decide on if imma do some time, but I'm not going in tomorrow unless they have all my shit on file." I said nonchalant.

"Okay, but you dsying worst shit gone happen what you mean by that ?" She looked up at me confused.

"From all this shit from being in this cartel under Lucarto." I sighed.

"What you talking about?"

"You know it's just me Mat jah and Mac left , one more of us gone die in order to keep his cartel going...and the rest of us gon deal with our karma until somebody kill his ass." I shrugged.

"This us all crazy." She shook her head.

"Just get some sleep." I said kissing her lips as she got up.
