Skyler laid on the guest bed on her side with tears coming down from her eyes.

She had just woke up and was already in a bad mood.

She sniffed getting up and walking to the bathroom that was connected to the guest room and looked at herself in the mirror.

I look rough. She thought to herself.

She turned the sink on and started washing her face but she continued crying so she stopped and just turned the water off.

She sat on the bathroom toilet and just stared at the wall trying to stop crying.. didn't work though.

She got up and looked at herself in the mirror and made faces making herself laugh.

That stopped though when she heard a knock on her door.

"Skyler?" She heard.

"Huh?" She quickly wiped her tears with her messed up sleeves.

"You good?"

"Uh huh." Skyler replied.

"Okay then.. Destiny said I should tell you she made breakfast." Jayla said.

"Okay I'm coming." Skyler said while brushing her teeth.

She waited until she heard her door close and then she went back in the room and got on her phone.

"Of course they posted the shit." She mumbled seeing the video of her getting jumped all over Instagram and Twitter.

She laughed seeing Destiny bang a girl's head against concrete.

She threw her phone on the bed and started heading downstairs.

Nari and Jayla were play fighting while Destiny recorded.

"Oop. Stand straight." Destiny gritted throwing an orange at them.

"Oh hey Skyler." Nari said sitting down.

"Hi." Skyler spoke standing awkwardly.

"You can sit.." Jayla said laughing.

"Oh sorry." Skyler said sitting next to Destiny.

"Thank you." She said grabbing the plate that was made for her.

They all stared at her as if they were curious about something.

"So Skyler.. why was you getting jumped at the park yesterday?" Jayla asked making Destiny cut her eyes at her. Jayla mugged her.

"It's kinda embarrassing." Skyler shook her head.

"We're listening." Jayla said placing her head on her fist and smiling tightly.

Skyler looked around and Destiny and Nari were waiting too.

"Over a guy." She said.

"Over a nigga?"

"A niggaaa?"

"Was he cute?" Destiny,Nari and Jayla all said at the same time.

"But forreal was h— a niggaaa thoughhh?" Destiny interrupted Jayla.

"Lemme speak!" Jayla mugged her.

"No. You saying unnecessary shit." Destiny waved her off.

"Why was yall fighting over a nigga?" Nari asked.

"I didn't even wanna fight." Skyler said.

"So why was you there?" Jayla asked.

"I was at the park chilling before them, I guess someone told them I was there and they came." Skyler shrugged.

"So what's the whole situation with the nigga and shit?"  Jayla said.

"So I was talking to this guy for like 8 months. But we didn't tell anyone, that was both of our decisions. Recently.." Skyler hesitated cause she thought they would judge her.

"Continue.." Destiny said sipping her orange juice.

"Recently he took my virginity. After that happened he didn't really speak to me. 2 days later my pussy is all over the internet." Skyler said.

Destiny, Jayla, and Nari gasped.

"Bitchhhh. He recorded you while taking your virginity??" Nari said.

Skyler nodded.

"Did you know?" Destiny asked.

Skyler shook her head.

"So where does the girl come in?" Jayla asked.

"She said that's her nigga. She said they was dating for 5 months. One of the football players sent it to her and she "came to me as a woman." when she figured that I didn't care nor did I want to fight, she got mad." Skyler said.

"You was dating the nigga for 8 months though. She was dating him for 5.. but that's HER nigga? How that add up?" Jayla asked being dead serious and Destiny and Nari busted out laughing.

"So which one was the girl? That claims he's her nigga?" Destiny asked.

"The girl that hit me first." Skyler said.

"Ian see who hit you first." Destiny said.

"I did." Nari said.

"Ight bet we gon whoop ha ass and the rest of them bitches one by one." Jayla said.

"You don't have to.. I don't wanna drag y'all in that." Skyler said.

Girl shut up and lemme beat they ass for you, a bitch be bored. Jayla thought to herself.

"But Skyler was lowkey beating her ass before they jumped her." Nari said and Destiny nodded agreeing.

"See this why I dropped out of high school. That shit was too much drama i couldn't do it." Destiny shook her head.

"No bitch you dropped out cause you just dumb." Jayla said and Nari busted out laughing.

"Ain't shit funny." Destiny mumbled and Skyler chuckled.

"Bro Jayla you should've seen when Destiny banged a bitch head against concrete." Nari laughed harder.

"You saw that?" Destiny furrowed her eyebrows scratching her neck.

"Y'all was beating them kids ass like that huh?" Jayla chuckled.

"Sure was." Destiny said.

"I wish I had a video. That shit was toooo funny." Nari said calming down. 

"I got a video. It's all over Instagram and Twitter." Skyler spoke up.

"You got a phone?" Jayla asked.

"Yeah." Skyler nodded.

"Oh I thought you was homeless homeless and we had to buy you errthing." Jayla mumbled and Skyler laughed.

"You got a job?" Destiny asked.

Skyler nodded.

"Okay miss independent I like thattt." Jayla dragged.

"Thank you." Skyler giggled eating a piece of her bacon.

"Let's see the video." Nari said.

"Okay. My phone is upstairs I'll go get it." Skyler got up.

She ran upstairs and grabbed her phone from on the bed.

When she was about to walk out she heard some sounds outside of the window making her quickly look up.

"Unt unt." She ran out the room and downstairs.

"Uh.. um. I heard a noise outside my window." She announced.

"Just now?" Jayla got up.

Skyler nodded as Jayla went upstairs.

"Wait Jayla don't be going there yourself!" Destiny said going upstairs also.

They looked around the room and outside the window and didn't see a thing.

"We didn't see anyone." Destiny said coming back downstairs with Jayla.

"Yeah. But if you hear sum again let me know." Jayla said and Skyler nodded sitting down.

"Let's see the video now."

Skyler pulled the video up on her phone as the girls surrounded her and watched.

"Damn you banged the fuck out the hoe head." Jayla chuckled as Nari was cackling loud as hell.

"I really ain't mean to do it that hard though.." Destiny said patting her head.

"But back to you Skyler." Jayla said making Skyler's heart drop.

"Where do you work? And like how do you get to work and stuff? And where did you stay before coming here? Don't think I'm weird or nun of that, I just wanna know more about you since your kinda staying here for a while you know.." Jayla said.

"I work at the AMC that's close to the park I was at yesterday. I don't really stay anywhere. I sleep wherever I find a comfortable spot. I keep all my clothes and shoes in one big backpack. I take a shower at the community center." Skyler explained.

Aw.. poor baby. Jayla said to herself.

All the girls looked at Skyler with sympathy and she just gave them a blank stare.

"What?" She laughed.

"Nothing I just feel bad.." Destiny said shaking her head.

"Aw no don't. I'm okay to be totally honest. I really appreciate y'all though and thank y'all for letting me in y'all home and stuff. Y'all ain't have to do that but y'all did and I adore y'all for it." Skyler expressed truthfully.

"Aweeeee." Nari cooed pulling Skyler in a hug.

Destiny did the same and Jayla just stood there and stared at them.

"That's cute and all but ion do allat touchy shit. Full of coronavirus ass hoes." Jayla shook her head making a stank face.

They busted out laughing as Jayla stank walked to her room.

Skyler checked the time and saw that it was 11:30, she had to be at work by 12.

She got up and threw her food away and started putting her shoes on.

"Where you going?" Destiny asked.

"I got work." Skyler said.

"You walking?" Destiny asked.

"Yeah." Skyler nodded.

"In that clothes?"

"Yeah."

"No. Cmon you can come look through my closet for some pants and a shirt that you can wear under your uniform." Destiny said walking to her room.

Skyler followed her. Destiny found her some clothes and Skyler was now in fresher clothes.

"This gon fit you?" Destiny asked holding up one of her shoes.

"What size is it?" Skyler asked.

"5 and a half." Destiny said.

Skyler nodded and Destiny handed her the pair of black and grey Jordan's 1's.

"You sure?" Skyler asked.

"Yeah. I never wore them before." Destiny said grabbing her keys.

"Cmon I'll take you." Destiny walked out..

Short chapter but it's just to get to know Skyler.

Side Note:
Na'Jour was NOT the one who snitched. If you read thoroughly you would see that he didn't even know she was locked up and he didn't even know she killed him.
