After Monte made sure I got in safely I quickly changed into something to wear to this party since he had already sent the location.

As I was changing my phone rung. Already knowing it was my friend Emoni, I answered and put it on speaker.

"Girl that's you that sent that text talking about a party?" She asked.

"Yeah some dude invited me and said to bring my friends." I changed into a different shirt.

"Nah this can't be the Ryleigh I know." She said and I laughed.

"You got Star wit you?" I asked referring to our other friend.

"Yeah we on the way we just gone trail you." She said.

"Okay that's fine, I'm almost done getting ready." I said.

"I'm so happy you doing something outside of that strict ass job. We gone have fun- wait you said a nigga invited you?" She cut herself off.

"Yeah."

"Might as well say fuck us you finna be wit him, i'm already knowin." She said.

"She has a boyfriend." I heard star say.

"Right, and I barely know the dude that invited me." I said.

"Girl what monte ass gone do? Say it wit me SHIT. What he don't know won't hurt him." They laughed.

"Nah lemme stop playin cause all jokes aside monte be scaring the fuck outta me." She said.

"Imma tell him you said that too." I chuckled. "Text me when y'all outside."

"We pulling up right now." She said as the phone hung up.

I grabbed my phone and stuff cutting my house alarm on before going out the door.

Demon mode by Nardo Wick played loudly as we all got out of our cars. People was every where from the side walk, just chillin outside, and inside the air bnb.

"Damn everybody and they mama at this junt." Emoni said.

"On God? Who yo' lil friend is?" Star asked.

"It's not his party it's his homeboy party." I said walking in.

"He said bring a friend so he must got some homeboys for us too." Star said.

"Should've known that." I chuckled.

"I hope they fine." Star mumbled.

"Y'all what i'm supposed to do at a party? Just walk around?" I mumbled.

"Just talk and rap to the lyrics and dance every now and then." Emoni said.

"Bitch is you finna hyperventilate?" Star looked at me.

"Y'all know I got social anxiety." I said and Emoni grabbed my hand. "C'mon let's find a bathroom." She said and Star followed.

"Okay just breathe." Star locked the door.

"My heart beating so fast, I don't like being around all these people." My leg bounced.

"As long as you with us you straight just vibe." Star said.

"Sometimes i wonder how you got the job you got." Emoni said and we all bussed out laughing.

"Omg I can't stand you." I laughed.

"Glad I got you to laugh." Emoni smiled. "Now let's go find this damn dude and his friends."

"Aht aht, Let them find us." Star unlocked the door.

"Ok i'm good." I said leaving out the bathroom."

"Y'all want something to drink?" Star asked.

"I love how I'm the one that told y'all bout the party but y'all more comfortable than me." I chuckled.

"You just gotta get out more, that's okay." Emoni said.

"Wait i left my damn phone in my car." I scrunched my face up.

"We'll go wit you." Star said and we all walked back outside to my car.

While we walked outside I seen Mahzi getting out of the car with two of his homeboys and it looked like they were hotboxing because smoke came out the car as well.

I just continued to mind my business and get my phone.

"Ok we good." I said closing my door and going back inside to the party. FNF started playing but it was a remix by a different girl.

"THIS THE ONE." Star said getting hyped as we went to the kitchen to get something to drink.

"LETS GOOOOO." We all rapped but of course since we were at a part we weren't the only ones rapping. All the girls were.

"SHIT ON THE MAD BITCHES." Emoni passed up some cups with some sprite in it since neither one of us were drinking tonight. Especially since we don't know nobody else, we all need to be alert.

We made it back over to where we was and continued rapping along.

"If we just broke up this morning know i'm outside by tonight, gps told me turn left but all the niggas on the right." They rapped and moved their hands.

"You know them drug dealers, rappers, scammers, all sound like my type ian gotta go and fuck em cause my words gone grip em tight." I rapped doing the same thing.

I got real comfortable real quick.

"You said whats yo' type?" Mahzi said and I jumped turning around.

"You scared the fuck outta me." I mugged him.

"My fault." He laughed.

"That's not funny I almost dropped my cup." I said.

"So you was just gone show up and not say nothing?" He said.

"I just got here." I lied...kind of.

"So you just automatically walked in here talking bout some Let's gooo." He mocked me.

"First off stop watching me." I said. "I actually been here for a couple minutes but I had to go back and get my phone." I said.

"Mm, come outside wit me." He said.

"My friends- Yo' friends occupied." He said and I looked to see them both talking to his homeboys and I mentally rolled my eyes.

"Star i'll be back." I said and she looked at me then Mahzi.

"Text me and remember." She said while patting her purse like madea making me laugh.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"To my car." He stopped and moved me in front of him as we walked outside then my phone rung.

"Wait." I stopped walking and answered my boyfriend's call and Mahzi muttered something.

"Hello." I said pressing on my opposite ear so I can hear.

"I left my charger at yo' crib but you not here." He said. "Where the fuck you at?" He asked and I scrunched up my face distancing myself from Mahzi a lil bit.

"I'm with Emoni and Star right now i'll be back in like a hour." I said and he just hung up in my face. I huffed putting my phone in my back pocket.

"Sorry bout that."

"You straight." He said as we made it to his car.

"Um- Yeah i'm good." I said and surprisingly he opened the door for me.

"Ole dude must not like you being at parties and shii." He said getting in the car.

"I'm my own person Mahzi." I said and he started rolling up.

"Didn't you just hotbox?" I asked.

"What you said? Stop watching me." He said focusing on what he was doing as he licked the gar.

"So what you take me outside for?" I asked as I took out my phone.

"Cause I ain't feel like be around a lot of people." He said.

"So what you invite me for if- you talk too much." He cut me off.

"Bye." I said about to get out.

"Ight chill chill chill." He laughed.

"It's ight you just mad." He said and I texted my friends so we can check up on each other.

"Hm." He said passing me the blunt after he hit it.

"I don't smoke."

"You don't smoke or you just never tried it?"

"I never tried it." I shrugged.

"Do you want to try it?" He looked at me. "I'm not forcing you to if you don't want to then- No I wanna try it." I said honestly.

"Ight hold it in between yo' lips- wait i can't get a different blunt or something, I don't know where your mouth has been." I cut him off.

"Bruh a blunt is a blunt you never heard of puff puff pas- nevermind." He cut himself off. "Just hold it in between yo' lips."

"Wait demonstrate it first." I said quickly And he held the blunt in between his lips inhaling from the blunt before taking it out and holding the smoke in his mouth. Releasing a thick white smoke before inhaling it back and letting it out again as the smoke faded.

Not gone lie it was very attractive.

"Now you try." He passed it to me and as soon as I inhaled the smoke I started coughing.

"Untun take this." I coughed handing it back to him as he chuckled.

"It's yo' first time you gone cough, cause you don't know what you doing." He laughed.

"Mmcht yes i do I did what you told me to do." I said. "Show me again." I said.

"Nah you just finna do it again, hm." He said putting it up to my mouth.

"I can hold it myself." I said.

"Bruh you so damn difficult you ain't doing shit but inhaling it and breathing." He said.

"Don't yell at me." I said.

"Amari c'mon." He said.

"Okay one more time." I said and he held it up to my mouth as he told me what to do and I finally did it right.

"It feel good don't it." He smirked before hitting the blunt again as I nodded.

"Do you think orange was a fruit or color first?" I asked as he passed it back to me.

"A col- nah a fruit. Cause think about it you know how God in heaven right?" He said and I nodded.

"You know that picture of him  and all them other niggas at the table full of food, that mean food was made before colors. Like niggas just be making shit up as we evolved." He said.

"And you know them cave men? They just be finding berries and stuff and don't know a lick of english so they just thinking it's fruit they probably don't even know what a color is for real." I said.

"Exactly...I like the way you think." He gave me a handshake and he tried to do some confusing shit.

"I'm just gone pray for you, nevermind." He shook his head and out of nowhere we both started laughing.

"How do you order weed?" I asked.

"I'm not finna play wit yo' ass talking bout some order." He mumbled and I looked at him. "Ain't no way you dead serious." He said.

"I'm for real." I said .

"Put that on some." He said.

"On what? What you talkin' about?" I asked.

"You ain't never heard nobody say On my mama or some- Who brainwashed you?" He cut himself off.

"OHHHHHHH that yeah yeah my bad i had a blonde moment I know what you talking about." I said.

"You don't need to get high no more." He said.

"Okay but answer my question." I said.

"Don't worry bout it just let me know when you tryna get some and I gotchu." He licked his lips as he laid his seat back some.

"Where my phone at?" I looked around and he handed it to me.

"Damn my friends been blowing my phone up." I said as I called them.

"Hello." I answered.

"Girl we been tryna call you, we ain't wanna leave you behind we ready to go." Star said.

"What time is it?" I asked.

"Almost one, we got here at like ten fifty some, you still wit that boy?" She asked. I told Monte I wa shine be back in a hour it's been passed a hour.

"Yeah, I'm good y'all can go ahead I'll just text y'all when I make it home." I said.

"Okay love you." She said.

"LOVE YOUUUU." I heard emoni in the background.

"Love y'all too." I said before hanging up.

"I was suppose to been gone a hour ago, I gotta go." I said.

"I ain't even realize it was this late." He raised up.

"I'm high as fuck." I mumbled. "I guess I'll talk to you later." I said about to get out of his car.

"Ight be careful." He said.
