I looked at Hyunjin. We both sat in the grass, next to the basketball place.

We went there together after we bought some ice cream.

We were always together before and after school.
We now always drive to school and home with his driver.

But sometimes, we still do something together after school, like going eat ice cream or something.

In school, we never really talked. We had different friends, he had his own friends and I had my own friends.

And yes, I think I can say I have more than one friend now. Hani, Esther and Chaeyoung are my friends.

Esther and Hani also habe their own friends, but they sometimes hung out with us. With me and Chaeyoung. We got pretty close you could say.

The boy smirked.
"Are you saying I'm handsome?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever. I don't understand why you want me to meet your friends. We're good how we are now."

"No. You are my friend."

I don't know why, but I froze at these words.

Of course, we were friends. We hung out together, we did stuff friends did. But why was this still so weird for me to call him friend?

"And I want you to know me more. So you should get to know my friends."

He was right.

He knew my friends.

My three friends.

And I should get to know his friends, that would be fair, I think.

I nodded.

He smiled when I agreed.

"Don't smile like that. It's nothing that special", I said.

But it was, technically.

I knew his friends. I mean, they were popular. I knew as much about them like every other student at this school.

His friends groups consists of 8 people.

They were 9 once, but they had a little bit beef with one of them.

Nobody really knew why, but everyone talked about that when it happened.

I think this ninth guy's name was Woojin.

After he stopped hanging out with Hyunjin's squad - I don't really know how to know them -  so many people started annoying Woojin.

They started asking questions, they started rumors, many students hated him.

And that was so dumb.

I mean, they should just mind their own business, they will have their reasons.

He transferred to another school. It must really hurt him.

But nobody really talks about that anymore.

"We can meet tomorrow after school, Okay?"

I nodded another time.

"We should go home now, I call Mr. Suh."

"Yeah, you're right."
