"Mommy!" Megumi squeals when he sees you on the screen of his father's tiny phone. It's Megumi's favorite time of the day, as well as Toji's. Both of them smile as they look at you and Misaki. "Kiki!"

"Hi my baby." You greet him, and Misaki greets him as well, but she's a bit disinterested in the call today. You then greet Toji, a bit less enthusiastic. You're still mad at him for everything and he's not exactly too happy with your attitude but he can't complain because in the end, it's his fault.

"How are you two? Everything okay there?" Toji asks, but the question is ignored because a very enthusiastic toddler is trying to talk to his mother. Megumi doesn't let Toji speak as he repeats "mommy" over and over again. Toji loved the enthusiasm from the toddler the first couple of calls but now it just gets him annoyed. Of course, he doesn't scold Megumi for it. How could he scold Megumi for being excited?

"Everything is good here. Misaki is just a bit upset because she wants to see her friends again." You answer the question before you answer Megumi's calls. You pitch up your voice before you say, "What's up, Megumi?"

"I miss you." He says, hoping that it'll make you come back. It makes you pout in response and it does make you emotional but you manage not to show. You smile at him before responding,

"I'll miss you too. But I'll be back soon, baby." You tell him, and Megumi sticks his bottom lip out because it's what he has been hearing for the past month and you're still away. It's just empty promises and the toddler is starting to notice it. "Misaki, say something to your brother."

"Hi, Gumi." Is all she manages to say before she focuses on the game you bought for her. You won't bug her about it because Misaki has been feeling pretty down lately. Megumi begins to try to talk to her and he hums in response but doesn't indulge any other type of conversation. You end up sighing.

"Megumi, we have to go but we'll call you soon, alright?" You're about to hang up but Toji's voice catches your attention.

"You'll be coming back home soon, alright?" Toji says, which makes you wonder what he's up to. He hasn't told you that in any of your calls, so he definitely has something up his sleeve. You don't want to talk about it in front of Misaki, so you stay quiet. "Behave for your mommy, Kiki. We'll be doing something very fun after you come home and I'll be asking your mommy about your behavior."

"I will, daddy." Misaki responds. You end up saying your goodbyes, telling both boys how much you love them before you hang up. The moment Megumi doesn't see your face, the waterworks begin and Toji tosses the phone to the side to comfort his little boy.

"It's okay, baby. Mommy and Kiki will be back home soon." Toji kisses the top of his son's head. He soothes the crying baby boy with the urge to cry himself. Toji just wants his family back.

Toji looks over himself in the mirror, rolling up the sleeves of his white shirt. Maybe this isn't the best outfit for the occasion. But Toji has lost his fucking mind so the fact that he's wearing a white shirt is the least of his problems. Toji makes sure to grab the black pair of gloves that he bought not too long ago before he exits the room.

He walks to his son's room to find Megumi cooking something up in the fake kitchen. Usually Megumi offers them to him, but Megumi finds himself annoyed with his father lately. He'll rather throw away the good food before giving it to Toji. Toji is about to say something to the toddler but the doorbell rings.

"C'here, Megumi. Let's greet the babysitter." Toji says, making the toddler stop cooking. He walks over to Toji and grabs the large hand that's open for him. They both walk downstairs and open the door for the babysitter.

"Hi." Toji greets the babysitter that he last saw on his anniversary. One that was cut short. She greets him back and then turns her attention to the toddler who is annoyed for no reason. Toji gives the babysitter some instructions before saying, "I'll be back before midnight."

Toji walks out of the house and goes to his car, pulling out his phone and the car keys. He enters the car and turns it on before he unlocks his phone. He searches for the contact on his phone, one that he dreads. One that has been helping him out, something he's grateful for. He clicks on the contact and begins the call, sighing knowing that this isn't an hour to call. When Naobito picks up the phone, Toji is quick to say,

"I know this isn't the best time to call. I need a clean up in a couple of hours at the address you gave me a couple of days ago."

"A clean up?" Naobito questions before a dreadful sigh leaves his lips. "Make sure it's silent. We don't need the neighbors talking about it."

"No one will be talking about it, trust me." Toji says before he hangs up the phone. He begins to drive to Shiu's place. He's ready to do whatever. If Shiu doesn't agree, then he'll force him to agree.

-

Time is a weird phenomenon. It seems to be going fast but it's feeling dreadfully slow. Toji parks outside the cheap apartment building that Shiu apparently thinks he'll be forcing Misaki to stay at. He turns off the car, putting on his gloves, before he exits it, the smell of smoke immediately filling up his lungs and it makes Toji click his tongue. Shiu is definitely just trying to get back at you, that man does not want the best for his daughter. Otherwise, Shiu would think twice before bringing her here.

Toji walks up the stairs to the second floor and then walks to the third door. If Toji wasn't confident in his fighting skills then the man would be terrified to walk in this area. Feels as if in any moment Toji could be mugged.

He knocks on the door six times. He's almost a hundred percent sure that this is the right place. He swears he'll kill Naobito if the man gave him the wrong address. Either no one is home or the person inside is busy. After two minutes, Toji knocks on the door again.

"What?!" The door strikes open and a very irritated Shiu opens the door. Shiu wears a pair of sweatpants and a tank top. Shiu clicks his tongue at the sight of Toji. "You don't get it, do you? I'm going to get my daughter-"

Toji lifts up Shiu by his tank top, and the thin material is quickly ripped by Toji's strong grip. Toji ends up pushing Shiu back into the apartment, making the man fall to the ground, before Toji walks into the place and shuts the door. "She's my daughter. She's my wife. You have no business coming into our lives and doing whatever the hell you want."

"She was mine first, Toji. I'm just doing whatever the hell I want with my leftovers." Shiu speaks, while Toji untucks the shirt and reaches into his pants to pull out the gun that Toji brought with him. He points it to Shiu's head, and Shiu lays helpless on the ground. Shiu's eyes widen and finally he realizes how he's messed up.

"Why the hell did you leave her? Why the fuck are you back?" Toji questions, finger on the trigger, ready to pull and end it all for Shiu. But Toji has a couple of questions that he has to get out of the way.

"I left because I wanted to get a better life for us. I had to leave and look at how the bitch treats me–" Shiu begins and Toji kicks Shiu in between his legs, making Shiu wince in pain. Toji doesn't want to hear a bad word about his wife.

"Tell the fucking truth, Shiu. You won't tell the truth even when you're so close to death?" Toji asks, tilting the gun a bit to the side.

"I met someone better. Exciting." Shiu admits, making Toji click his tongue. Although Toji can't complain because otherwise you wouldn't be with him. "But she left me. When I came back to look for my wife and my daughter, she had moved on with your idiotic self. Then your secretary kept calling me, so I got all the information I needed."

"Don't ever call her your fucking wife. You're a fucking dumbass." Toji responds before he kicks Shiu again, "Why the hell did you take so long?"

"To torment you both. Especially her. She knew that I wanted my daughter, so I'd make her dread my comeback. But to my surprise she never saw the letters." Shiu answers.

"Why the hell did you not want her to move on? What the fuck is wrong with you? You left her for another woman and she's not allowed to get married?" Toji questions, kicking Shiu over and over again, till the man curls up and cries. But he doesn't beg for mercy because he'll never be pathetic like that. "I'm about to fucking kill you and you're not begging for forgiveness. You know I can take you to the airport and buy you a one-way ticket to Korea."

"I'm not- Pathetic." Shiu sobs. "I'm a- real man."

"A real man yet you're sobbing because your little balls are getting kicked." Toji chuckles. "You're fucking pathetic."

"Shut up, Zenin-"

"A real man would at least try to save his life. But look at you. You're fucking pathetic, Shiu. You really deserve no less." Toji speaks, tears escaping Shiu's eyes. "You would've been fine. Chasing after as many boring women as you wanted. Smoking and drinking all day and all night for the rest of your life. But you decided to come here and mess with my family. Do you know how hard I worked for that? I've lost it all and when I finally have what I most desire you come here and threaten to take it from me."

"You would've been fine- Without my daughter. Just you three." Shiu claims, earning him another kick.

"Don't. Ever. Call. Misaki. Your. Daughter. She's my daughter. My little girl. Don't you dare say she's your daughter when you left her for some woman." Toji says through gritted teeth. He sighs before asking, "Any last words?"

Shiu shakes his head, tears pooling his eyes. He knows he won't get out of this. He's on the floor, defenseless. Even if he tried, he can't save himself. Toji is about to pull the trigger before Shiu changes his mind, "Tell Misaki that daddy loves her a lot. I can't come back for her but remind her I love her more than anything."

Toji doesn't say anything else. He pulls the trigger, not worried about the neighbors. Gunshots probably aren't an uncommon occurrence in the place.

"I hope you burn in hell." Toji glares at the lifeless body.

The clean up crew should be here soon enough. Toji really doesn't need to do anything else. He just has to call you and tell you to come back because everything is taken care of.

Toji steps out of the apartment and walks to his car. Just as he expected, there's no one outside of their apartment to check out the loud sound that came from the apartment. Toji really isn't worried about ending up in jail because the Zenins will do anything to prevent that.

Only thing Toji is worried about now is going back to his house to be with his mean toddler and calling his wife to tell her to come back home.
