You're packing up upstairs, while Toji is downstairs in the living room, the flashdrive in the palm of his hands. His laptop rests on his lap, and Toji really is debating on watching the contents of the flashdrive. How bad can it be?

He gulps before putting the flash drive into the laptop. Toji's hands are shaking as he opens the video up. He presses play, turning the volume on the video all the way down. His breath hitches when the video begins.

It's clear that you weren't lying. It is a sex tape. It starts off simple. Your mouth wrapped around a dick. Just watching it makes Toji nauseous. He has to fast forward the video, and there you are with your ex-boyfriend having sex. He closes the computer and takes deep breaths to control the insane jealousy that rushes through his body. He feels like he's about to puke.

He takes the flash drive out and runs upstairs to find you packing everything up, careful to not wake Megumi up. Toji can't be mad at you for a mistake that you did when you were younger, and for something you did way before you met him.

"If Shiu threatens to leak it, the Zenins will force you to give Misaki to him." Toji begins, his voice low since he has to be careful not to wake the baby up. You roll your eyes at the obvious. You've been with Toji for two years now, and you've played house fairly well. Every time there's an event with the Zenins, you two show up and are labeled as the perfect family.

A slip up would be fine, but not with the Zenins. Especially with a scandal so big. The perfect housewife has a leaked sex tape with her ex-boyfriend. That'll ruin the image that the media has. The Zenins don't care if you have to give up your daughter in order to maintain the perfect image that they've created for Toji. The Zenins own your house and employ your husband, so there isn't much you can do. They can't take everything away from Toji if you willingly run away.

Toji sighs as he walks over to his nightstand, "Where are you planning on going?"

"I don't know." You sigh. You have no place in mind yet. Just somewhere that Shiu won't find you and take your daughter. If he's really set on taking her away, Shiu will do anything. As much as you hate to think about it, he has connections, dangerous ones at that. "I just have to go, Toji. I'm really mad at you right now, but it's not because of you that I'm leaving."

"I know." He responds. Now he's thinking about how he could've avoided this. First step was showing you the letters. He clearly messed that up. Maybe showing you the very same night he got the first letter, even if it meant ruining his night with you, this wouldn't be happening. But no, he just had to get his dick wet. He sighs, "I'm sorry."

"Nothing that we can do about it now." You tell him. You don't have time to cry and wallow in self-pity. You can only pack up and leave with your daughter. Toji opens the drawer of his nightstand and pulls out an envelope. It's too thick for it to be another hidden letter.

"I'll send you money weekly until Shiu is no longer a threat." He extends his arm to give you the envelope. It's not sealed so you open it to find a hefty amount of money. You put it in the suitcase, and before you can thank him he says, "I'm sorry."

"Thank you." You answer. As much as you want to tell him that it's all okay, it isn't. You're here because of Misaki and if Shiu takes her from you then you're nothing. "I'll call you and Megumi every day."

"How do I explain to him that you won't be coming home for a while? He adores you." Just the thought makes Toji's eyes water. It makes you want to cry too, but you have to push the thought away. He clears his throat so his voice doesn't break while speaking. "Megumi can survive fine without me, but not without you."

"Toji..." You finally take a seat next to him. "Megumi spends all day asking about you and when you're coming home. He adores you more than anything."

"That's not what I'm most worried about." An awkward chuckle leaves his lips. "I'm going to miss you and Misaki so much."

"We'll miss you too." You assure him. You then look at the baby that sleeps in the middle of your bed. You're certainly going to miss him. Even more than your husband, after all, Megumi is your baby boy. "I'd take him with me but I can't take him from you."

"We'll be reunited soon enough." He says, and you can only sigh defeatedly because you doubt the problem will go away so easily. "I'll make sure we will be reunited soon enough."

"Please don't say that, Toji." You tell him, and he raises his eyebrow. You sigh. "If you fail me, I'm not sure if I'll be able to trust you again."

"I promise you that by the end of the year we will be together again." Toji claims, and he doesn't believe it himself. But he never wants to lose your trust so he'll find a way to work it out. He'll find a way to get you and Misaki back with him in two-months' time. "I will find a way."

"Oh, Toji." You wrap your arms around him. You're so mad at him, but you won't be seeing him again in some time. You have to appreciate the few moments you have left with him. "I'm going to miss you so much. Especially at night when I'm not hearing your snoring."

"You should be glad about that." Toji chuckles, trying to lighten the mood. It just makes you want to cry more. You pull away, attempting everything to hold back tears.

"I just wish I spent more time with Megumi today." Your voice breaks as you speak. You've spent your whole day with Megumi, yet it doesn't feel like it was enough. Toji feels the same with Misaki. He won't be seeing her for a while either. "And our wedding is going to have to wait, and our baby too."

"All of that can wait." He reassures you. "We just have to make sure our daughter isn't taken from us."

"I will." You nod your head. "I won't allow Shiu to take her from us."

"I'm sorry." He mutters. Your hands cup his cheeks before your lips meet his. A short sweet kiss. Something he won't be receiving until you're back home. "I love you."

"I love you too, Toji." You answer. You stand up because there's still so much you have to pack. By the end of the year you'll be back together, or so he says. "But you best believe that when we're back, I'm making you suffer."

"All you want, my love. I'll take it."

Everything is packed and in the car. The sun is just rising. You and Misaki eat your breakfast. She's trying not to fall asleep, and you're trying not to cry. Toji also sits with you, but he doesn't have much of an appetite. Toji is trying not to cry too, just thinking about how he'll break the news to his toddler when he wakes up.

Now he's thinking how he'll spend his Saturday nights without his daughter picking another princess movie to watch. Megumi can't possibly pick a movie himself, the toddler is too indecisive. Plus, Megumi falls asleep too early into the movie to possibly enjoy it either.

Then he thinks about all the homework assignments he won't be helping Misaki with. Then about the fact that his daughter won't go to school with all her friends. He wants to ask if you really have to leave, but he knows you're not leaving because you want to. Now Toji wishes he was competent enough to get a job for himself that could pay enough for the family.

"Done!" Misaki announces. She stands up, excited to leave for the trip. She's so happy, and it hurts Toji because Misaki doesn't know all the details. You stand up as well, just like Toji, not having much of an appetite. You begin to pick up the plates but Toji stops you.

"I can do it." He says, and you put the plates down. You inhale and hold your breath.

"I'm going to say bye to my baby." You whisper, and Misaki looks at you a bit confused.

"Are we going to say bye-bye to Megumi?" Misaki asks.

"Can you be quiet?" You ask her. "We don't want to wake Megumi up. He could barely sleep last night."

"Okay." She nods. The both of you walk upstairs while Toji begins to clean up, trying his best to not break down. He can't do that yet.

"Bye, Megumi." Misaki kisses her younger brother's forehead before getting off the bed. A simple goodbye because she'll be back soon enough. At least she thinks so. She walks out of the room, leaving you behind.

You take a seat on the bed, and do the same as Misaki. You move the hair from his forehead and kiss his forehead. A tear escapes your eye and you take a deep breath. "I love you, my baby boy. I'll come back as soon as possible."

You stand up, not tearing your eyes off the adorable child. You'll be back soon, there's no need to be so emotional. You take one last look at Megumi before walking out of the room and closing the door. You wipe the tears that fall from your eyes.

"Promise me you'll behave really well for your mommy." You hear as you walk downstairs. You have to cover your mouth to muffle a sob when you finally see the scene with your own two eyes. Toji is crouching down and hugging Misaki, tears falling from his eyes. "And have a lot of fun too."

"I will, daddy." She answers, unsure as to why her father is so emotional. It's just a small trip. One that her mother packed a lot for.

"I love you, Misaki. So so so much." He says.

"I love you too." She replies. Toji lets go and kisses her forehead. He stands up and he tries to smile at you when he sees you. But it's ever-so-weak, it can't be considered a smile.

"We should get going, Misaki." You tell her and she nods. You don't want Shiu to come back and find you here. You don't know when he's going to take action and you don't want to find out either.

You open the door, and Misaki says bye to her father before excitedly running to the car, thinking of her fun trip with her mother. Toji yells a goodbye, his voice breaking but thankfully she doesn't notice it. You walk over to Toji and cup his face. He leans down so his lips meet yours, his arms wrapping around your waist.

"I'm going to miss you so much." Toji's voice shows his weakness. His forehead presses against yours, his eyes shut so he doesn't have to look at your teary face. "I love you."

"I love you too, Toji." You respond. You hold onto each other for another minute before you peck his lips again. "Please take care of my baby boy. Take care of yourself. I'll call."

He hums, and you try to walk away but he holds onto you. "Toji, let go."

"I don't want to." He murmurs. "I don't want you to go."

"I don't want to go either, Toji. But I don't want my daughter to be taken from me." You answer.

"I'll convince the Zenins to leave her with us. Shiu won't do anything." Toji begins, trying to get you to stay. But he knows he won't be able to control that. "Just stay with us, please."

"How will you do that, Toji?" You question, and your question is met with silence. You have to almost push him away to get him to let go. "You can come visit us. But until Shiu is no longer a threat, we can't be here."

You walk out of the house and to the car, and Toji wants to run after you but he can't. He can't. He has to let you go because this is ultimately the best thing for your daughter. Toji bites his bottom lip, holding back a sob. Tears stream down his face, wondering how he'll do without you and Misaki. It's just for a short time.

He'll never forgive Shiu for doing this to him. Shiu is trying to break up his family.

He has to force himself to shut the door. He walks upstairs and when he walks into the bedroom, he finds Megumi on the floor. The toddler looks at him with wide-eyes. Toji should've known, after all, Megumi always wakes you up so early.

"Hey, buddy." Toji tries to smile, which doesn't turn out well with the tears that won't stop escaping his eyes. Then again, Megumi doesn't notice, nor care.

Megumi walks past his father and out of the room. Straight to his sister's bedroom, which is oddly empty. Megumi is always the one that wakes her up, so why isn't she in there? Toji follows the toddler.

"Kiki?" Megumi asks, tilting his head as he looks at his father. Then Megumi walks out of the room and begins to walk downstairs. Neither his mom nor his sister are upstairs, so they must be downstairs. Toji follows the toddler.

Megumi runs around downstairs, eager to find his mom and his sister. Yet, they aren't there. Not in the kitchen, not in the living, not sitting at the dining table. When they aren't there, he comes to a stop and begins to cry.

"Mommy-" He weeps, for the first time in his life, he wakes up and you aren't there. Toji quickly picks up his son from the floor, hugging the toddler tight. He gently pats the toddler's back to comfort him. But Toji is also crying.

"It's just us again, buddy." Toji says under his breath. But he'll get you two back.

He'll do anything to get his family back.
