Your eyes adjust to the light that enters the room when you wake up. You hear breathing underneath you, and you realize that you're laying on Toji's chest. Your face gets warm as you remember last night's events.

His arms are wrapped around you, so it isn't easy for you to get up and get your day started. You wish you could stay here all day, but you know it's a matter of time before the kids wake up. You raise your head and stare at your husband, watching how peaceful he is as he sleeps.

You stare at him for a minute before you call out his name. Your voice is so soft and sweet the first time that he doesn't hear it. You call out his name again, this time your voice louder. This time he does manage to hear, he slowly opens his eyes, a smile forming on his lips as he sees your face.

"Good morning." His voice is raspy. You peck his lips before smiling at him. You both stare at each other for a minute. His mind thinks of so many things, none of them decent, as you lay naked on top of him. "Do you want to-"

"The kids will wake up soon. Especially Misaki since she has so many gifts to open." You cut him off. You're also in the mood but you don't want one of the kids to wake up while you two are busy.

The mention of gifts is a reminder of last night's extra gift and the letter. He lets go of you and you get off him. You get off the bed and walk to the bathroom to get your day started, and the man can't help but stare. He smiles to himself.

He lays on the bed for a minute or so, thinking of the event of last night. He remembers how he has to go to the pharmacy to get you the morning after pill, and maybe he can pick up some flowers on the way there. He gets up from the bed and puts his clothes back on. While he puts on his shirt, you open the bathroom door. "You should move back into the room." You tell him, and he smiles at you. He nods.

"I'll start bringing my stuff later today." He responds. He walks over to you and pecks your lips. "Can you put on that cute little yellow sundress today?"

"Yeah." You answer without a second thought. You see a smirk on his lips, and you think about it for a minute. "Is that why you looked at me weird last week when I wore it?"

"I didn't look at you weird." He defends himself. You raise your eyebrow before nodding.

"Yes you did... You just side-eyed me the whole entire time. I thought I looked bad for a second." You say and he shakes his head.

"Never that, honey." He replies. He pecks your lips again.

"Will you be able to contain yourself?" You question. The man bites his bottom lip as he thinks about his answer. He gives you a slight nod, and before he can give you a verbal answer, you both hear Megumi's cries.

"I'll get the baby ready while you put on some clothes." Toji says and he walks out of the room.

-

"Plan B..." The man mutters as he tries to spot the pill, and when he does, he quickly grabs a box... Or two. He grabs a box of condoms as well... Or two. Everything that's necessary until you decide if you want to get on birth control or not.

He also grabs two bouquets of flowers. Pink carnations and white lilies. He also grabs a dumb baby toy that he knows his son will love, although he's better off getting a cardboard box because Megumi often times chooses random objects over his toys.

Toji checks out and he quickly walks to his car putting everything in the backseat. He starts the car and changes the music before putting the car in reverse. But before he takes his foot off the break, something catches his attention– Rather someone, catches his attention.

Toji squints his eyes as he looks. His heart sinks, and he shakes his head thinking that it isn't possible. It's just his eyes deceiving him. He backs out and begins to drive back home, thinking about the letter and about everything. What should he do? That letter is rightfully Misaki's, and he should give it to her. He knows that. But he's afraid this will spark hope in the little girl's heart.

Shiu isn't a trustworthy man. How does he know that Shiu will actually come back to visit his daughter? He should tell you about it... But he already lied to you, so how would he bring up the topic? Maybe he should talk to his therapist about it. He'll bring it up... He'll try to in his next session.

His heart feels like it'll beat out of his chest, his mind going a thousand miles per hour just thinking about everything. When he gets home, he parks and stays in the car, taking a deep breath to calm himself down. He has to calm himself down before going inside. You'll notice something is wrong with him right off the bat.

He inhales and he holds his breath for a couple of seconds before exhaling. He does this a couple of times before turning off the car and grabbing the stuff that's in the backseat. He enters the house, a smile forming on his lips as he smells the breakfast you're making.

His heart fills with joy hearing impatient little Misaki, begging to start opening her presents because she can't wait any longer for him. You're making her wait so Toji can see how happy she gets as she opens each and every present– Especially the dollhouse.

Toji puts the plastic bag by the stairs before he walks to the living room. There he finds his son, following Misaki around as the young girl rants to you. Toji clears his throat, which catches your attention. You look at him, your heart melting as you see the two bouquets of flowers. You smile at him.

"Dad! You're back!" Misaki yells as she runs to him to hug his leg. Megumi follows, walking after her. Toji smiles as he crouches down and gives her the bouquet of pink carnations. She takes it, "Thank you, dad!"

She begins to walk towards you to give you the flowers so you can put them in a vase and put them in her room. Meanwhile, baby Megumi decides if he wants to follow his sister or say hello to his father. Toji looks at the baby, still crouching down, waiting for the decision.

The baby touches his father's knee, smiling, and Toji brings one lily up to the baby's nose so the baby can inhale the scent. "That smells good, doesn't it, stinkgumi?"

"Are you seriously going to keep using that nickname?" You ask him as you take the flowers your daughter hands you. Misaki walks back to Toji, as the man takes the flower from Megumi. Toji stands up, picking up the baby.

"It's a cute nickname. I like it." He responds, and you can't agree with him at all.

"I literally bathe that baby twice a day for you to make his nickname stinkgumi." Toji begins to walk over to you while he sniffs his son's hair. It's a bad habit of his, ever since the baby was born. The man knows that you bathe the baby twice a day because he always smells the shampoo and occasionally feels the damp hair.

"Can I open my presents now?" Misaki asks. She's ignored as Toji gives you your flowers, and you thank him. You peck his lips, and Misaki notices it, quickly pointing it out, "Ew!"

"They're lovely, Toji." You tell him. He smiles at you as you take the flowers to put them in a vase, one that will go to your bedroom.

"Mom! Dad!" Misaki yells, beyond impatient. She isn't physically bringing each present down, there's too many which means it'd take too many trips to bring all the presents down. You clearly waited so Toji could watch her open the presents, so him not being there would defeat the purpose of her waiting until he got home.

"We're going, Misaki." You tell the young girl, turning off the stove. Toji quickly walks to the stairs so he can grab the plastic bag before Misaki snoops around and sees its contents.

You walk upstairs and to the young girl's bedroom, and Toji makes a quick stop to put the plastic bag on your bed. Misaki runs to the pile of presents and begins to open each one. And you enjoy seeing how happy she is.

Toji puts the baby down on the floor, and he begins to play with the wrapping paper on the floor. And as Toji watches, he thinks about the gift in his bedroom. Toji should've snuck it into the pile, but it's too late now.

"A dollhouse!" Misaki exclaims. Her eyes go wide and she has the biggest grin on her face. She's been dying for one, and now she finally gets one for her dolls.

She continues opening her presents, none of them as exciting as the dollhouse, but all of them appreciated nonetheless.

-

"Misaki..." Toji knocks on her bedroom door. It's near her bedtime, and she's picked up the habit of closing the door around the last ten minutes. She likes to play alone for those last ten minutes, so she doesn't allow anyone in. But Toji holds one last present... One that he didn't manage to sneak into the pile.

Misaki opens the door and looks up at Toji, confused as to what the man needs. Misaki has made it clear that she needs her last ten minutes alone. Toji smiles at her, "I have one last present for you."

"Really?" She asks, and he nods in response. Misaki lets him inside and he gives her the pink box. She wonders what it is, hopefully something she doesn't have yet. She puts the box down and sits down on the floor to open the gift.

She excitedly gasps seeing the doll. Another doll is what Toji thinks. Nothing remarkable, but what could be expected from Shiu? The letter is the one thing that differentiates this gift from the others, but the letter is kept hidden. It's a cute doll, it looks a bit like Misaki.

"Thank you, dad!" Misaki stands up and hugs the man, and he feels guilty. Taking credit for a gift that isn't even from him.

"Do you like it?" Toji asks, and she nods in response. Misaki looks at the doll and debates if she should share this one detail with Toji. "What's up, Misaki?"

"My daddy Shiu would get me a lot of these dolls." She confesses. Toji's eyebrows raise as he takes in this new information. It was just a doll to him, and it looks like the many others but apparently it's different. "Thank you, dad."

"I'm glad you like it, honey." Toji smiles at her. He begins to walk toward the door. "I'll leave you to play with it. You can have ten more minutes of playing."

Toji walks out the door, and it's right on time. You're walking out of Megumi's room after putting the baby to bed. You look at him and nod your head to the bedroom door. He smiles at you and walks to your bedroom.

You both enter the room, and as soon as you close it, you cup his face and kiss him. His arms wrap around your waist, and as much as he wants the kiss to go further, Misaki is wide awake. He knows that you can control himself if you share a couple more kisses, but he can't. He pulls away, and when you try to peck his lips again, putting his fingers on your lips.

"Misaki is still awake and I won't be able to contain myself." He tells you, making you chuckle. "Did you take the pill?"

"I did." You respond. "I'll make an appointment with my doctor to get on birth control. For now we can just use the condoms you bought."

"We have two boxes we have to go through." He informs you, and you raise your eyebrow.

"We have to?" You question and he nods.

"We do. Like it's required. I think you'll have to visit me at the office, so we can fulfill that duty." He says before bringing his lips to meet yours. You chuckle when he pulls away, your finger landing on his chest and it taps it twice.

"That would sound great, but who would Megumi stay with?" You remind him and he clicks his tongue.

"That nanny that took care of them while we were on our honeymoon." He answers. "That reminds me we never really had a honeymoon since... We weren't actually together. Maybe we should plan one out."

"We first have to plan out a first date since we never had that either." You add, and he doesn't know why, but he laughs. You missed so many steps, yet he adores this. Months ago he hated this arrangement, but now he truly doesn't think he could be happier.

"Okay... Our first date, a honeymoon, anything else?" He asks and you think about it for a minute. You shake your head in response. "Alright then, let's put Misaki to bed."

"Toji..." You begin and he raises his brow. "Thank you for caring for my daughter."

"Thank you for caring for my son." He responds, making a smile appear on your face. He loves your smile, it makes his heart melt. And he thinks about all the other times he didn't appreciate it enough. He makes a note to always admire it because it's just so beautiful. "I don't like the possessiveness of 'my' , we're a family. They're our kids. She's our daughter. He's our son."

"You're right, Toji. They're our kids." He pecks your lips once again before opening the door and walking out. He follows behind with a big smile on his face.
