Jimin and I return to our setup on the beach where the gang are all sitting together, along with a few extra faces I don't recognise.

"Lilo! Jimin! Get over here!" Teddy waves. There are three new guys sitting with them drinking soda's, all wearing colourful open shirts with tank tops underneath, shorts and sandals. They turn around to look at us after Teddy shouts our names.

"Lilo and Jimin, meet Chanyeol, Kai and Baekhyun. They're amazing surfboarders!"

"Nice to meet you." I bow. "Hey." Jimin raises his hand.

Kai seems to keep his trained eyes on me longer than the other two. He scans my body up and down, biting his plump lip and making me feel a little uncomfortable. He smirks before turning back around.

"Come sit guys!" Teddy reels us in with her hand. I sit next to Kai, since it's the last available seat. I notice that Chrys is still peacefully tanning on her sun-bed while Taehyung is fast asleep on the one beside her.

I also notice Mina brushing her nose with Chanyeol's, giggling with him sweetly. Well ,that was a quick relationship.

"Ooo ooo Baekhyun, Tell Lilo what you told us! Go on!" Teddy exclaims.

"Okay okay," He laughs, "We own a beach house just up from here. You guys are invited to stay til' late and we'll cook dinner and eat around the campfire with us. We do it all the time, it's really fun."

"Sounds cool, I'm in." I smile. Kai grins from beside me, I blush as he continues to stare at me, surprised that no one is noticing. How does he even find me cute in this oversized tee and shorts???

"Stop by the beach house at 9 and we'll set everything up." Baekhyun tells Teddy. "Okay!"

He gets up and the other two copy. Chanyeol pecks Mina on the forehead before waving goodbye. Kai starts to walk but stops after one step and turns to me.

"Later Lilo." He gives me a flirtatious wink and walks off.

I sit there awkwardly, not knowing what to expect later. He is really handsome, but I hope he doesn't make a move on me or something. I have a boyfriend.

We moved our stuff closer to the beach house since we were having dinner with the surfboarders. It's night time, so the beach is empty and a lot colder than earlier. Everyone has changed back into the clothes they came in.

Baekhyun and Chanyeol have almost finished cooking the buffet on the patio whilst Kai, Jungkook and Jimin are setting up the campfire.

Not long after the cooking was done and everyone gathered around the fire to eat. Some people stood and some people sat, I stood.

"How does it taste?" Baekhyun asks.

"Mmf amazing!" Teddy moans after a bite of the kimchi, making him chuckle.

"Yeah this is really good, thanks guys." Mina nods.

"I can't believe I'm eating around a campfire. I feel homeless." Chrys complains before Jungkook pushes her shoulder lightly, "Oh quit whining, it's fun."

I look amongst the vicious waves crashing onto the shore, I wish I had been to the beach at night sooner, I had no idea how much more relaxing it can be. "Here Lilo." I turn to Kai who hands me a plate full of delicious food.

"Wow that looks great, thanks."

He winks and purposely stands close to me while I eat. Taehyung stands on the opposite side of the fire, his face swirling and wiggling if I look at him from the patterns of the flames. I could be wrong, but I think he notices Kai's behaviour.

I trap a piece of pork between my chopstick and munch hungrily, this is definitely the best meal I've had in ages.

"Lilo, you didn't get any japchae?" Kai asks me.

"Oh, was there japchae? I didn't see it."

"Here, try some of mine." He twirls the noodles around his chopsticks and points the ball to my mouth. As a natural instinct I open wide and he pushes the ball only halfway into my mouth before retracting his hand, then going forward again, then going back, making me lean in and out with a stretched mouth.

"Quit it!" I hit his shoulder. He laughs and finally inserts the noodles. "Just wanted to see how big that mouth could get. Tastes good, right?"

"Really good." I nod with stuffed cheeks, not properly hearing his first comment.

"I know what else tastes good."

"Huh?"

He smirks at my dumbfounded reaction and resumes eating.

"That was great! Is there enough for seconds??" Teddy asks making Baekhyun laugh. "Sure, hang on."

Teddy gets up to follow him inside but drops her fork in the ashy sand, "Whoopsie."

"Oh shoot, we don't have any more."

Since I've already finished eating I put aside my paper plate and stand up, "We have more in the car, I'll go get them."

"You sure Lilo? It's dark out there and the cars quite a walk away."

I shake my head at Jungkook and hold out my hand. "I don't mind. Car keys please."

I hold my arms throughout my journey to the car, shivering from the intense breeze every time it passes by. The car is a lot further away than earlier, and I low-key regret travelling all this way for a stupid fork.

"Lilo." I stop and turn around to see none other than Kai. "Oh, hey Kai."

"Hey, I just didn't want you to get lost so I thought I'd come with you."

"Okay." I nod nervously, letting him walk with me.

After walking in a minute of silence he stops me, grasping my shoulder with one hand to face him. I look up at him with widened eyes.

"Lilo, you're really hot."

I look to my side, not knowing what to do or say back. "T-thank you..."

"No I mean it. I want you."

What the heck. He didn't even ask if I was single.

Before I can do anything he rides his hand up the back of my neck, combing his fingers through the base of my hair.

He leans in for a kiss, but I gasp and turn my head, leaving him surprised as if it's the first time a girl has turned him down.

"Sorry Kai. You're cute, but I have a boyfriend." I back away.

"So? We don't have to tell him." He steps forward and caresses my waist.

I push his chest to create distance, "Seriously, he wouldn't be happy with this. Knock it off."

"Okay, then let me speak to him." He nudges his chin confidentially, "Who's this boyfriend of yours?"

"W-well he's not he—" To cut off my sentence like a loaf of bread, an arm wraps around my shoulder and pulls me into a hard chest.

"Me. Now fuck off." I hear Taehyung's voice from above.

My eyes widen from his words as Kai looks at us in shock. After receiving m Taehyung's firm glare, he turns around and heads back to the beach house without another word.

As soon as he's gone I shove Taehyung's arm off me with a push.

"Get the hell off me." I grunt, trying to maintain a solid match as I continue my journey, but the deep sand slows down the process frustratingly. I then hear his footsteps catch up from behind.

"You're welcome. I was just helping you shake him off, you looked uncomfortable."

"I don't care, just go back already."

"So everyone can nag me if you get lost? I'll stay."

I just ignore him and keep marching with an irritated look. It's not like I can physically throw him back to the beach house.

He looks at my body and cocks a brow. "You cold?"

"Of course I'm cold, I didn't bring a damn jacket."

I hear a sigh from his lips before thick denim material covers my shoulders. I look up at Taehyung, the blue-dyed denim jacket that was once on his body a moment ago is now on mine, leaving him in a black tee.

It makes me feel a lot warmer especially after Taehyung's worn it, his body heat lingering on the inside. It also smells heavenly, like baby cream and Gucci. But I fight back all those thoughts and try to take it off. I'm still mad at him for earlier.

"I don't want your stupid jacket."

"Oh shut up and keep it. You're obviously shivering." He uses one hand to push it back on me.

"I said I don't—"

"Keep the jacket on or you're fired."

My eyebrows furrow and eyes widen by an inch, causing me to shut up and look the other way.

When we reach the car I unlock it and get a new packet of plastic utensils from the back seats, that's when hear Taehyung sit in the driver's seat and recline the chair. As if he hasn't spent the whole day sleeping. I stand outside the passenger's door and roll my eyes.

"I've got the forks, let's go."

"Let me rest here for a minute."

"No I'm going now, I'll lock you in and head back myself."

"No you won't." He scoffs.

I reach into my pocket for the keys to prove I'm not bluffing, but the keys are missing. "Where..."

I look up at Taehyung as he swings the keys around his index finger with an eyes-closed smirk.

"How did you... ugh," I sit in the passenger's seat and rest after the tiring walk, watching the ocean hit the sand aggressively from over the hill while we remain in silence.

The whole time my face is grumpy, and after a minute Taehyung peaks one eye open to notice my expression. "Why are you so pissed? Thought you loved the beach."

"I did." I mutter through clenched teeth.

"Well you've been cranky all day, lighten up."

"Are you fucking joking? You're the reason I'm so pissed off! I really wanted to go in the water and take pictures with the girls but you wouldn't let me! You ruined my day you jackass. Then Jimin cheered me up, then I saw you and you ruined my day again! And to top it off you keep doing things to tease me so I'll be flustered, knock it off already! You don't do it to any of the other girls and are you forgetting that you're my boss? I have a boyfriend, you can't do things like give me hickeys or put your stupid arm around me. You're just... such a jerk."

My voice falls more quiet towards the end, tired from all the aggression I'm letting out. I lost all filter in my choice of words and let it all out.

Taehyung just lies there and stares at me with a blank expression. I look back at the waves, feeling awkward after everything I said and trying not to make eye contact.

That's when I hear the leather of his seat crease, elevating back up. When I turn my head Taehyung's face is really close to mine. He stares deeply and intensely into my eyes. His eyelashes are so long and fluttery it's un-human and his skin looks like an animation.

Taehyungs scent hasn't worn off me yet, the sweet smell of his jacket combined with the one emitting from his neck flustered me like crazy.

I look back his eyes, then at his pink lips, then back at his eyes. His lips slightly part making a small smack sound as if he's about to speak.

His leans even more forward, passing my face and meeting my left ear. I feel his breath tickle my earlobe,

"If that's what you really think of me... Then it's probably better that way. I'm okay with that."

I completely stiffen at the echo of his words. He leans back in front of me, his eyes piercing through mine.

"...I'm okay with that Lilo." He repeats.

I stare at him, questioning what he's even saying. What does that mean?

He twists his torso to the door behind him and gets out. It takes me a while to snap into reality and do the same. I hear the car lock once I'm out as his figure begins to walk off. I pick up my pace and run to catch up to him.

We get back to the group who have been waiting patiently for us. Kai looks up at us and sees that I'm wearing Taehyung's jacket, then looks back down and continues eating. Teddy jumps up once she spots us.

"About time, you guys took forever! Did you get the forks??"

"Yeah it's right h—" I reach into my jacket pocket and realise they're not there. My eyes crash open before my hand smacks my forehead.

I forgot them in the passenger seat of the car didn't I......
