So much for a covert operation.

Not only had they ended up in the WRONG PLACE, but the five of them were currently hiding from the villain and the pro-heroes who had arrived a couple minutes prior to capture the Nomu's that were being kept in this factory.

Some man in a black mask and suit had shown up all of a sudden, taking out at least 4 of the pros and almost killing Best Jeanist, from what Kou could hear. She was trying her best to keep her focus on using her nen and hiding them all, but it was getting difficult with how scared she was becoming.

How strong did this guy have to be, to take out all those heroes by himself? Kou could feel the murderous aura coming off of him, a pure evil she'd never encountered before that left her feeling sick inside.

"What just happened?" Todoroki was looking more fearful than she'd ever seen him, almost shaking from the horrors beyond the wall concealing them.

"He erased them all in an instant!" She was currently in between the two redheads, and hearing their paranoid thoughts wasn't helping her own.

How the fuck were they supposed to get out of this situation? They were supposed to discreetly go in and save their classmate, but with a villain like this only a couple metres away how were they supposed to do anything but hide?

"Damn it," a familiar voice appeared all of a sudden, making Kou forget about her fear for a second, "Where the hell am I?"

Bakugou? Why was he here? Was he teleported or something? Kou couldn't tell if it was a good or bad thing he was closer to them; it also meant he was face to face with the powerhouse who'd just annihilated his mentor only moments before.

The sounds of the other members of the League appearing out of thin air were heard seconds later, only adding to the stress of the situation. It was the six of them (including Bakugou) against god knows how many villains?

Kou snapped her head to the end of their line, seeing Midoriya look like he was heavily deliberating something. Before he could move she threw a card at him, holding him down and preventing him from killing all of them with his recklessness.

"If you even try moving I will kill you, Deku." she threatens, voice quivering slightly. "Don't do anything until you have an actual plan."

" You're here after all, aren't you..? " the villain's booming voice made the group freeze in their tracks; had they been caught? They were 100% going to die.

All Might's voice was heard, along with him landing on the ground only a couple metres away from them. Kou didn't think she'd ever been so relieved for a hero to come.

The Symbol of Peace was sent flying back from the villain's hit only a few seconds later, and the man continued to speak to Shigaraki: "Run away from here, Tomura. Take the child with you. Kurogiri, get everyone away from here."

The villains argued amongst themselves, and Kou turned back to Izuku. She knew they had to do something before Bakugou was taken again, but what? How were they supposed to act without getting directly involved, or caught, or in trouble?

She thinks back to what her classmates warned them: that by acting on their emotions they were no better than the villains. That what they were doing was selfish and irresponsible. If they saw where they were right now, it would probably be the biggest ' I told you so ' in history.

But Kou didn't feel like she was doing the wrong thing. This wasn't about heroes and villains, it never was. It was about saving the people you care about no matter what, and not letting stupid things like rules or fear stop you from acting. Even if she was positively shaking in her boots, she wasn't going to back down.

The loud booming of Katsuki activating her quirk sprung her back into reality, and she tugged on Midoriya's sleeve. "What do you want to do, Deku?"

"We just need an instant, just one opening..." he whispers to himself, staring at the ground in thought. All eyes are on him, waiting for his commands. Midoriya may have been a nervous wreck half the time, but he always came through with a solid strategy when it counted.

"Kou-chan, everyone!" he raises his voice slightly for everybody to hear properly. "I have a way! There's a way to let us leave this place without fighting, but still save Kacchan!"

"Let's hear it."

Midoriya nods, staring at his arm. "This plan also depends on Kacchan...I don't think my plan will succeed if I do it."

Kou raised an eyebrow at that, confused as to where this was going. "What do you mean, Midoriya?"

The green haired hero turned to face her, eyebrows furrowing in determination. "My plan depends on you, Kou-chan. You're the key to increasing the success rate!"

"Huh?" Okay, he'd officially lost her now. What the hell was he talking about?

"Please give us more details, Midoriya." Todoroki inquired, and Kou nodded her head in agreement. They'd need a lot more elaboration if they were going to all be on the same page and get out of here alive.

"Okay, this is my plan..."

"This better fucking work, Deku." Kou grumbled, activating her bungee gum and surrounding the four of them with her Nen. "I'm not planning on dying today."

Midoriya's plan was pretty risky: they'd use his quirk and Iida's to launch the four of them into the air after Kirishima and Kou broke through the wall protecting them; Todoroki would create a ramp of ice they'd use to build enough momentum to reach high in the air and create enough distance between them and the villains.

At that point Midoriya ordered Kou to call out to her friend: " So then it's up to you, Kou-chan. It's no good if me or anyone else does it. From the start of school, you've built an equal relationship with Kacchan...if you, his friend called out for him...then I'm sure! I'm sure it'll work! "

A couple seconds later their plan was set into motion; Kou using her good fist to punch the concrete wall the same time as Kirishima, sending a cloud of dust and rubble outwards and shocking the villains.

Todoroki waved his hand and almost immediately a giant tower of ice was taking over the space. Iida and Midoriya ran as fast as they could, speeding up the ice hill and launching off.

They only had a couple seconds to act; they couldn't hesitate for even a second. Suddenly they were all up in the air, only narrowly dodging the head villain's attack thanks to All Might's interference.

Once they were far up enough to be safe Kou turned back to look down at Katsuki, holding out her arm towards him. "Bakugou! Come! "

Bakugou was staring up at them in complete shock, probably still trying to figure out how the hell they'd gotten there and how long they've been hiding. "Hurry the fuck up!" she rushed, seeing Shigaraki approaching behind him.

His hands were just about to touch the blond before he activated his quirk to the max, a giant explosion blowing the villains away and launching him up to the sky. Kou looked at his flying body, still in awe at his power.

He was quickly catching up to their group, the force from his blast enough to project him that far away from the League. Kou stretched her hand further, trying to reach out to him. Bakugou reached her and grabbed onto her hand, clasping tighter to steady himself.

Kou hadn't felt this good in days. Seeing him again, seeing that he was safe filled her with a sense of relief and completely removed the weight off her shoulders. She smiled down at him, being greeted with a smirk just as big.

"You stupid or something?" he yelled, wind flowing through his hair and carrying his voice to her ears. His harsh words went unnoticed by Kou, who was too happy to even care about it.

Kou was about to reply with her own insult before Iida interrupted them. "Bakugou, you need to make a blast at my mark!"

"YOU MATCH MY MARK!" he screams back, and Kirishima pleas for them not to fight at a time like this.

Despite his protests he launches an explosion once Iida's engine wears off, projecting them further away from the villains and All Might's fight.

They eventually landed a couple blocks away from downtown, tumbling over each other and stumbling into the concrete.

"Fuck!" Kou shouts when she feels someone sitting on her broken wrist, quickly kicking off an apologetic Kirishima.

They're all panting at this point, the adrenaline coursing through their veins finally wearing off. Kou quickly gets up and dusts herself off, eyes searching for Bakugou who was a couple metres to the side. She runs to him, and without thinking she punches him in the shoulder.

"Ow!" he hissed, glaring at the girl. "What the hell was that for?" He's taken by surprise again when she wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him tightly, almost choking him in her hold. Kou buries her face into his neck, sighing when the familiar scent of caramel fills her nostrils.

"You're such a fucking idiot," she murmurs against him, quickly pushing herself off him. Bakugou's cheeks are dusted a light pink, eyes and hands twitching at his sides as he tries processing what just happened.

Kou doesn't even realize how brazen she's being when she grabs his hand again and drags him along with the rest of the group to watch the fight between All Might and All for One on the big screen, a large crowd of citizens gathered around the TVS.

The more they look on, the more the fight looks like it's in the villain's favour. Kou and the rest of them can do nothing but look on as the Symbol of Peace takes hit after hit- Bakugou squeezing her hand tight enough to hurt at the sight.

Even with the world burning all around them and the League of Villains still at large, when she turns and sees Katsuki beside her and doing just fine- Kou can't help but feel content.
