"Hurry up." I told Serg nem as they walked into the house and I moved to the side so they could come in then shut the door behind them.

"Who is y'all?" Cierra scrunched up her face when we walked into the living room.

"Yo babysitters." Poochie said.

"Say what yo name is." She pointed at them.

"Sergio."

"Poochie."

"We ain't got time to be playing the name game, nigga let's go." Tyrone said and we all nodded.

I gathered my stuff and kept Cierra by my side. I wasn't gonna let anything happen to another child on my watch.

"Aye...we got a problem." Jared, one of them twins said while looking out the window.

"What?" Serg asked.

"Calvin." He pulled out his gun that was tucked away in his pants and I heard a car door close.

"Oh my god." I said as my heart dropped. I felt Serg pull my arm and he looked at me, he was literally staring into my fucking soul.

"Take her and don't come back down here until I come and get you." He said.

"Serg-"

"Now Saige. I'm not fucking playing." He said sternly.

I grabbed Cierra's hand and hurried up the steps. I seen a bedroom door open so I went in there and locked the door behind us.

"I want my mommy." She said.

A few minutes later I heard gunshots going off and I flinched and froze up. I couldn't move or anything, I was basically just stuck.

I snapped out of it when I felt a hand tugging mine. I looked down at Cierra and seen her with tears in her eyes. She was scared.

"Come on." I quickly went over to the closet door and opened it when all of a sudden everything went silent.

Cierra got in and I looked at her. "Don't come out until I tell you to, okay?"

"Okay." She said. I wiped the tears from her eyes before I shut the door again. I heard two more shots go off before it was silent again.

I waited for a good five minutes for Serg but he ain't come so I started to panic. I blocked everything else out and focused on him.

Love makes you do some crazy ass shit. Cause if it wasn't Serg out there my ass would've stayed in this room.

I took a deep breath and quietly opened the door that leaded into the hallway. I walked out and went over to the stairs.

I walked down the stairs as quiet as I could and when I got to the bottom I seen Serg standing over two bodies but I couldn't make out who it was.

I looked to my right and seen Jared looking like he saw a ghost. It didn't take long for me to put the pieces together.

It was four of them when they got here and only two were left standing, so that meant the ones on the ground were Poochie and Tyrone.

"Serg." I walked over to him slowly and once I got closer I seen both of his brothers lifeless bodies in front of him.

He didn't speak, or move, he didn't even blink. He was still in shock.

"I can't believe this shit bro. This crazy." Amari said as we all sat on his couch.

"Did you talk to Tati?" Regina asked me.

"No." I shook my head. "And I'm not going to. She just lost two of her brothers the fuck ima say? Ask her if she okay? No."

Poochie and Tyrone was dead along with Calvin, Serg and Tati were nowhere in sight, and Hakeem still out there somewhere and I just know when he find out the first thing he gonna do is look for me.

"Saige!" Qura ran into the house. "Where's Cierra?"

"Calvin's daughter? I don't know."

"You was babysitting her when it all went down so how the fuck you don't know?" She walked over to me.

"Hollon, you was there?" Aaron looked at me.

"Yeah she was. And if she don't tell me where my fucking baby at ima kill her." She said and I looked up at her.

Now that I think about it. I always knew Cierra looked like somebody I know. I just couldn't put my finger on it. Now I know, it's Qura.

"I don't know Qura. The police took her when they got there." I said truthfully.

I don't know why she even asking me this in the first place. How don't she know where her own child is? Shouldn't they call her or something?

She didn't say anything, she just shook her head and walked out of the house.

"Aye hollon ima be back." Amari said as his phone started to ring.

I got up from my couch and went into the back room of my house. I took a deep breath before I answered the phone.

"Wassup."

"Where the fuck Saige at?" Hakeem asked.

"Over here." I said.

"I can't find Serg so I'm getting her ass instead. They killed my fucking brother man. I can't believe I ain't realize they was back talking."

I just shook my head. This shit been going on for the past year and I was ready for it to end. It hurt like a bitch when I had to switch to the other side but Hakeem and whoever the fuck he working with started threatening me and my family if I didn't get involved.

"Listen, bring her to her house. I'm here. Don't fuck up either." He told me before the lined clicked.

I walked back into the living room with everybody else and thought for a lil bit on how I'm supposed to do this. Eventually something clicked.

"Alright y'all my moms finna come home so y'all gotta get the fuck out." I told them.

Once they all got up I walked over to Saige.

"I know you probably ain't in the right head space right now so do you want me to drive you home?" I asked her.

"Um yeah, if you want to." She shrugged.
