Β  Β "You're... you're not dead."

"It would seem so Scarfy."

"Wait, how do we know it's really her? Mirio saw her die Eraser."

Mirio saw me die?

Wait how-

"Kitsu." I turned to look at my sister who was stumbling to her feet.

"What! I needed to make it believable!"

"'Believable'?"

I gestured awkwardly between the group of heroes and my sister, "Kitsu - pro heroes, pro heroes - Kitsu, my younger-older sister that ruined my life but to be fair, I did ruin her life first, though saying that, she took it a bit to far."

"No regrets."

"Damn I thought we were on good terms now. Anyways, you wouldn't because that man there can erase your quirk and by the looks of it he's already done it-" I looked at Shota whose eye's glowed red, a tell-tale sign that he was using his quirk, "-and there are also multiple pro heroes with wonderful quirks that could take you down in a split second."

Kitsu was still cuffed but the bench she was originally cuffed to no longer existed, all that remained of it were scorch marks in the shape of the old bench.

I turned my gaze to everyone, "I promise to explain everything, but can we first do something about my sister? I thought we promised to not kill each other but I think her resolves starting to waver."

A few heroes nodded and walked up to Kitsu.

"She has a memory manipulation quirk, she can use it after she's touched you for about 5 minutes."

They nodded and made sure to stay out of her reach.

Our eyes met and for a brief second, I swear I saw her smile slightly.

I still hated her, after everything she's done, who wouldn't? But I knew, deep down, that if I didn't at least try, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself.

If I was to describe what I was feeling at that moment, it would be a mixture of relief and lightheadedness. But I forgot everything when I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me, pulling me into the tightest hug I'd ever experienced in my 25 years of living.

I threw my hands around him, pulling him even closer to me, letting the tears freefall down my face. The whole idea of Shota actually being able to see me was overwhelming and I struggled to stand as a wave of exhaustion and relief fell over me, Shota felt it and tightened his grip around my waist, letting me fall completely into him.

"Don't ever do that to me again Sunflower." He said, his words muffled as he pressed his head into my hair.

"I'll try."

He pulled back, his own tear-filled eyes staring into mine, "No, I mean it. This isn't some joke, I- I don't think I would be able to do that ever again I-"

I silenced him by pressing my lips against his.

"Never. I'll never do it again, not if I have anything to say about it. I'm so sorry Shota."

"Don't apologise, just... let me hold you for a bit. I don't think I can let go of you for a while."

"I don't think I'll let you for a while," I replied, burying my head into his chest.

"I thought- I thought you were gone. I thought I would never be able to see you again Sunflower, I-"

"Is the bitch beat? We -HOLY BREADSTICKS- Y/N?!"

I turned my head slightly, finding Daiki who was being unsuccessfully held back by Matt who wore a desperate look on his face which quickly melted into one of complete confusion as his eyes found me.

I moved away from Shota just in time before I was tackled to the ground by Daiki.

It took me a moment to get my bearings before I pulled him into a hug, the tears falling harder now as I realised that this truly was real.

"D-Daiki-"

"YOU LITTLE SHIT!"

"Wha-?"

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HUSBAND!"

"WIFE PLEASE CALM DOWN!"

"CALM DOWN? CALM DOWN!?"

I winced as he shouted in my ear.

"YOU DIED! WE'RE AT YOUR FUNERAL!"

"Not anymore?" I shrugged slowly, brushing a hand over my tear-stained face.

"Wife, I swear on everything that is holy, if you don't explain yourself I will never invite you to another Fondu Funday ever again."

"Husband, I promise to explain everything, can we just- get off the floor first?"

We both helped each other get to our feet, "Explanation?" Daiki looked at me.

"I would like one too," Shota said, coming up behind me to pull me into another tight hug which I was gracious for as I felt yet another wave of exhaustion roll over me.

"Wait, wait, wait... first... I'm gonna scare everyone." I nodded to no one in particular.

"No, you're not."

"Chillax Scarfy it's just a joke."

No, it wasn't.

I might've tried to break free of Shota's grasp and burst through the doors shouting whatever came to mind first- but the whole thing doesn't really work when your legs stop working 5 seconds into your plan.

"You're an idiot."

"That's what you say to someone who just came back from the dead?"

"No, that's what I say to the person who just collapsed on the floor because they want to scare people after we told them to not do exactly that."

"You love me really."

"Always."
