Β  Β Looking back, the scale was definitely me thinking a bit too positively. The restaurant was on a completely different level.

On a scale of 1 to 100, this place ranked 200+.

As soon as we approached the doors, two doormen quickly opened the large glass doors using handles that seemed to be the same size as the men opening them.

"What. The. Hell." I whispered to Shota who laughed lightly at my expression.

We were ushered to a velvet booth, dimly lit by a few candles and a chandelier that hung above the table.

"Woah," I mumbled, slipping Into the seat, "So it's fancy fancy."

"If that's what you want to call it."

"Seriously Scarfy," I pointed at the menu, "five courses?" I stared in disbelief.

"You know you don't have to have the five courses."

"Psh, yeah, I know. But look, the price isn't even on the menu!"

"That's because we expect you to be able to pay for the meal." A tall woman with black hair tied into a tight bun that slightly raised her facial features looked down her nose at me -both physically and literally I imagine-. "You can pay for it right?" She raised a perfectly plucked eyebrow at me.

I shrunk into the seat a little, "Um- Y-yeah, I'm like... super-rich?"

The woman laughed, harsh and curt, "Of course you are miss."

"I suggest you stop berating her if you don't want to lose a customer." Shota glared at the woman from his seat.

The waitress smiled, "My apologies sir, it's not often we see people like her come into our restaurant, let alone come in with a pro-hero like yourself." She winked at him and I felt my blood boil slightly.

Did she just-?

She did.

"And what the hell does that mean?" I laughed dryly.

"It's just, you seem slightly... How do I put it? Ah," She gave me a vicious smile, "In it for the money?"

I was about to fly out of my seat and rip the bun clean off of that bitches head when I felt Shota's hand wrap around my wrist, holding me down. I stared at him in shock and slight betrayal, to which he gave me a look as if to say: she's not worth it.

"I see you're rather quick to jump to conclusions. So before you open your mouth to try to insult her again, I politely ask that you leave and switch yourself with another member of staff, or else you will be fired and I won't be able to guarantee your safety if my girlfriend ever sees you again. Oh, did I mention she's a pro-hero? And a damn good one at that."

The woman was caught off guard by his words. "Is that a threat? Because I will call the police."

"It's not a threat. It's a promise." Shota stared her dead in the eyes and I had to hold my tongue as to not laugh as she nodded and quickly walked away.

"I'm not sure how to feel. On one hand, I think I might smack her around the face and on the other, that really turned me on." I deadpanned.

Shota looked down at me, his hand still on my wrist. "We're leaving."

"We're what?"

"Leaving. Now."

I didn't argue and let him direct me out of the restaurant.

We were halfway back to Shota's apartment when he exhaled loudly and turned to look at me.

"I'm so fucking sorry."

I gave him a half-smile, "It's not your fault."

"I don't care. This was meant to be a perfect night."

"Have you met us Shota? We're anything but perfect, and that's perfect to me."

I put my hand on his cheek to make his eyes meet mine, just like he had done to me so many times before.

I smiled, "You're perfect to me Scarfy."

He leant in and gently pressed his lips against mine, I pushed myself into him and kissed him back, just as desperate for him as he was for me.

He pulled away, "Come on, let's go to McDonald's."

I squealed and ran forward, "Last one there has to order!"

"You know I don't care about ordering?"

"But I do, I'm not going to let you pull one over on me!"

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

I was about to speed through the doors of the fast-food restaurant when my arm was pulled back.

"AH! Don't you dare Shota Aizawa!"

I pulled my hand out of his grip and fell forward flat on my face.

Shota immediately knelt next to me to check if I was alive.

His serious expression made me laugh as I grabbed his arm and pulled myself up.

"Are you okay?"

"I won!" I cheered.

"What?"

"When I fell over, I fell onto the floor." I pointed frantically, "The McDonald's floor!"

"Oh. You're crazy."

"Nope! Just a winner." I beamed and walked over to a free table, "I'll take a large (favourite flavour) milkshake and a (favourite meal) with large fries. Chop chop Scarfy. I just burnt off everything I've eaten in the past two days."

Shota just shook his head and went to the counter to place our orders.

He came back shortly, carrying a tray with my food and a happy meal.

"You got a happy meal?"

"What? I like the apple slices."

"You make a perfect point." I popped a fry into my mouth.

"Of course I do." He smirked and opened the box in front of him.

"Ooh! Ooh! What toy did you get?"

"Does it matter?"

I pouted, "No, they're just fun."

He pulled out the package and ripped it open, revealing a large yellow plastic ring with a yellow flower on it.

"Okay that's cute, you can give it here." I held out my hand.

"As if." Shota laughed and continued to eat his meal, of which he had bought a black coffee to go with.

"Woah, you're the one that called me sunflower! It's perfect! Doesn't it make sense~"

"No~" He mimicked my tone.

Ignoring the urge to mock Shota's odd meal choice, we dug into our food, pausing every now and then to laugh at the ridiculous topics that we were coming up with.

"Hey, I wanted to ask you something." Shota looked at me, taking a sip of his drink.

"Shoot."

He shot me a look and gave me a lopsided smile.

"Y/n Tanakashi, Sunflower."

I giggled.

"Will you officially move in with me?" He held out the plastic ring making me giggle even harder.

I put a hand to my forehead, "Yes! A million times yes!"

A few people in the McDonald's clapped their hands, thinking that I'd actually been proposed to, but quickly realised that the two of us were just goofing around with the gesture and turned away, slightly embarrassed.

Shota put the ring on my finger, it was a bit too big on my finger but I closed my hand so that it wouldn't fall off.

"We're officially roommates!" I cheered.

"No, we're officially living together. We're not roommates if we sleep in the same bed."

"You're so specific Scarfy."

"You're so perfect Sunflower."
