As a group, we all left the students to fight their way through the forest (watched over closely, as reassured by the two cat-like heroes) and headed straight to the hero's mountain base.Β

Shota and 1-B's teacher Vlad King talked with Mandalay whilst I spoke with Pixie-Bob, the hero I hadn't seen since my first year of hero work.Β

"God, you've grown up." She rubbed the back of her neck, "Makes me feel old." She whispered under her breath.

I shook my head, remembering Ryuko's slight obsession with her age. "You're not old." I laughed.Β

"I know I'm not! I'm still 18 at heart." She winked as we continued on our way.

"You really own all this?" I asked, breathing in the fresh air; a stark contradiction to the stuffier air of the city.

"Uh-huh. All of Beasts forest."Β

"Damn, creepy name." I chuckled and looked over at the angry-looking small kid who wore a red cap with two gold spikes on the front, "must be fun living out here, I would've loved it when I was your age."Β

The boy just ignored me and continued to walk.Β

I gave Ryuko a questioning look, but she just shook her head sadly. I took the hint, that's how people would look at me when I was younger.Β

I didn't know what had happened, but it was enough to change the aura of childish innocence surrounding the boy.Β

Poor kid.

We came up to a large building where the two other members of the Wild, Wild Pussycats, Ragdoll and Tiger.Β

Greetings were short and sweet, both the UA teachers and I had met the hero group before so it immediately became more of a catchup rather than an introduction.Β

"We've got hot springs, dining hall and dormitories. We assumed you wanted to look over the students, so I've got y/n in the 1-A girl's dorm, Eraser in the 1-A boy's dorm and Vlad in the 1-B boy's dorm." Pixie-Bob explained.Β

"I'll be in the 1-B girl's dorm," Mandalay added.

I nodded and followed her, hauling my bag into the dorm room and putting it on the bed closest to the nearest point of entry. It was a thing I'd been doing for years, ever since my house was broken into when I was six. If someone were to break in, I'd be the first to greet them and let me tell you, it wouldn't be with a simple hello.Β

β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”

I cheered as the students of 1-A came into the clearing of the office building (definitely for their achievement and definitely not because I had a bet with Mandalay that the students would be here before 7). Shota gave me a look and I toned it down, putting my hand out behind me and felt some notes being pressed into it, making me smirk.Β

They all looked terrible, and that was putting it nicely. It was obvious that the trek had taken a lot out of them. Girls and boys alike were covered in dirt and some had twigs in their hair. Uraraka in particular looked as if she was about to throw up.

Without warning, Pixie-Bob rushed forward and jumped around four boys from the class, a bit too over-enthusiastically if I may add, making them shield their faces.

She was cut off by Izuku who asked about the boy I'd tried talking to earlier who was actually Mandalay's nephew, I had to hold back a laugh as he was punched in the crotch by the little kid.Β

Turns out he had a lot to say about heroes.Β

Maybe that's why he has such an angry aura about him, just like that Bakugo kid, I thought and was immediately proved right by the sound of the blonde-haired boy shouting at a boy with red and white hair. I immediately recognised him as the boy who had fought Bakugo at the sports festival. Ice and fire huh. What an interesting mix of quirks.

"Get yourselves cleaned up and look around," Shota announced to the tired teens, "Once you've put your bags in your rooms there's food for you in the cafeteria."

I walked with the girls to the coach and helped them unload their things, getting them to follow me to their dorm.Β

"So you're a pro-hero?" A girl with black eyes, pink skin and a mop of matching pink hair that partially hid the horns on her head asked.

"Yeah," I tilted my head to the side and smiled, "But I'm not a big one, I was more of an underground hero until recently."Β

"What happened recently?" She asked.

"She saved some civilians from a burning building but didn't have her mask on so that's why she's become more popular recently," Uraraka explained.Β

"Oh, I heard about you." a girl with purple hair looked at me, "You're that time hero aren't you?"Β

"Uh-huh, Time Warp, nice to meet you all."Β

Each girl introduced themselves to me with tired smiles.Β

"Why are you on this trip?"Β

"Don't you have the cafe to look after?" Uraraka asked and I shook my head.Β

"I've got a few people checking over it, I just hired a new server for weekdays." I noted Uraraka's slightly worried face, "Don't worry, you've still got your job." She visibly relaxed, "And I came here because your teacher asked me."Β

"Oh my god, are you Mr Aizawa's girlfriend?" The pink hair girl, who I now knew to call Mina, asked.

I blushed at the straightforwardness of her question.Β

"Um, yes?"Β

I was immediately squished by the girl who'd pulled me into a tight hug, "That's amazing!"Β

"It is?"Β

"Yes! Who knew Mr Aizawa had such a cool girlfriend."Β

I laughed, "You are so right Mina, I'm so cool."Β

We got to the room and the girls each chose their beds.Β

"Sooooo," Mina cooed, sitting on her bed which was located next to mine, "What's he like?"Β

"You ask a lot of personal questions," I noted.Β

"I know."Β

"Aren't you tired?"

"Nope, not anymore."Β

"Ok well..." I started, "He's a human."Β

The girl rolled her eyes and laughed, "Come on Miss, I thought you were cool."

I cringed at the word 'miss', "Please don't call me that, it's way too formal, just call me y/n."Β

"Okay y/n, spill the beans."Β

"I don't think so, missy. Do you want dinner or not?"Β

The girl sighed, "Fine."
