"I think she looks like me" I smiled at my baby.

"I thought you sa-"

"We not talking about that right now..." I snapped my neck at June and he out his hamds up. "Ou June take a picture for she wake up"

He pulled out his phone snapping a picture of her while she layed between my legs and showed me .

"Imma just put it out there..." Tj stepped up "I'm the Godfather so.."

"Don't get too happy cause Nari aint say shit about it yet" June mugged him.

"She don't got no God daddy. " Her father's fat ass spoke up .

"Old ass" My dad came into the room with Jamiyah whom was holding a gift back. He dapped up my babys father and walked over to he giving me a fist bump.

"Aww look at the small baby" Jamiyah cooed .

"You can't even see her face" My dad said .

"Mmcht Santana hush" She slapped his arm .

"You wanna hold her?"I asked them , they turned around to be met with Yomi's dad holding a bottle of hand sanitizer smiling . "Goofy" I laughed.

"Thank you" Jamiyah got some rubbing it in her hands and I passed over the baby . "She has your eyes.."

"Thank you" I smiled.

"Another one" Promise said coming into the room with her Honesty and Jahil. "Hey Uday" She gave him a side hug and he dapped up Jahil.

"Old ass" My dad said again.

"Daddy..." I tilted my head at him .

"Yeah?" Him and Uday said at the same time and Promise and Tj bursted out laughing .

"He-he sa- hahahaaaa" June cackled and I covered my face in embarrassment.

He keeps bringing up the fact that Uday is way older than me but it's not like we just met and I popped out a baby , I've known this man over five years I care less about his age.

"What is her name?"

"Nairi'Yomi Abdullah" I told them and they nodded .

"You gone name all yo kids with an 'N' in the beginning huh?"

"Nah , just the first two" I told June and they all started putting their attention to the baby.

-three years after that.

"That's how you got here" I finished the story.

"So you met daddy a long time before you had me?"

"Yeah" I nodded lifting my arms so she could tighten my wedding dress . I stared at myself in the mirror taking a deep breath.

"I had to know he was the one I wanted to be with....It was a promise. " I smiled at her through the mirror .

She smile wide showing her teeth - two were missing in the front which caused her to speak in a lisp sometimes .

"Mommy will you always be in love with daddy?"

"Of course Yomi, he's the love of my life. "

"Are you going to love me forever?"

I looked at her confused - she was looking down with a frown . I stepped off the stool infront of her and squatted down .

"I'm going to always love you and your brother . No matter what happens to be remember mommy loves you okay?" She nodded smiling once again and I wiped her face .

"Hm" I took off my locket with my picture in it - I put it on her neck "If you love me... do you love me?"

"Yes mommy! I love you this much!" She opened her arms wide making my brides maids 'awe'.

Promise was drinking it up , they had hella bottles in the room and she took advantage of that for sure- she was my maid of honor .

It was hard to choose between her and Jamie . But then Jamie told me she couldn't make it for something her and Jermaine were doing out of state . So it left Promise whom I would've probably picked in the first place .

"If you love me that much you have to make sure you don't ever lose this locket okay?" She nodded fastly making me smile and hug her . I stood up and sat down in the chair so they could put my veil on .

"You look beautiful Nari" Promise told me once it was on. The girls nodded also , I chose Aaliyah , Lakiya , and one of my other cousins Carmex.

"Thank you , also thank all of you for agreeing to be here for me today-"

"Girl you don't have to thank us you know we down for you. " Carmex waved me off smiling and I nodded . Reality started setting in and I felt myself getting emtional.

"You better not cry bitch"

"I'm not" I fanned my eyes

"Don't cry mommy , daddy said big girls don't cry"

I hate he told her that - I know it's not good to cry alot but not crying at all? She doesn't cry at all . I haven't seen her cry since he told her that - I mean not even a tear up.

She's not a bad child though , neither is Nau'Jae. He barely speaks which scared me at first but I found out he had selective mutism . Why? I don't know . Its a form of autism though .

I didn't find out he had it until the school called me . It took me by suprise but my love for my son never changed and never will.

His father , Quay . Left him . He left the both of us . Just got up and left without a bye or anything . I think it hurt Nau'Jae to the point he just chose to stop talking .

Uday loves both of my kids , although me and him only share one child , he loves and takes care of Nau'Jae like his own . Always saying
' this my lil nigga' and Nau'Jae just smiles .

It makes me happy that he had a male figure in his life and I know my children are going to be okay in the future .

"It's time girl" Promise told me , she was the last one to get out the room . Everyone was gone I guess getting in place.

Staring at myself in the mirror and looking over my makeup making sure my lipstick looked good .

She did her shit with this one .

"Can I look?" Santana came in covering his eyes and moving his arm around for guidence making me roll my eyes .

"I'm marrying Uday not you dude. " I nudged him arm and stepped back taking in his suit . He pulled on his jacket straightening it making me laugh.

"Okayyyy I see you Tana. "

"You know I step out every time.." He said cockily .

Him and Jamiyah got married that year , Nadir is still the only baby . It's just us three still. The wedding was in Vegas which was fun as hell.

"Where Jamiyah?"

"Nadir shitted" He told me and I scrunched my face up .

"Noo he ruined the suit?" It was white - if he did shit on it that would be sad .

"No , thank god. That suit costed a-lot.."

The door opened revealing the wedding director"Come on they're waiting.."

My hand started shaking and I started messing with my ring finger which still had my engagement ring on it . I took it off and left it on the counter before heading out the room .

The doors opened revealing the room full of people standing up and waiting . Looking at me in awe which made me a little nervous .

Music was being played lowly - Alicia Keys's '𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙃𝙤𝙬 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙈𝙮 𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙄𝙨' . Making me smile , this was a song I sung to him often .

We began walked and I was scared for my life - I didn't want to trip in-front of everybody . I looked up seeing him staring at me with his bottom lip tucked in his mouth , a tear dropped out his eye making me smile .

I spotted June sitting in the crowd with his hand over Miras shoulder , yes they got married . When we went to Vegas they disappeared and she came back with a second ring that was made of plastic .

Promise and Jahil were still going strong , with only Honesty their relationship was thriving . I think they were the longest-lasting couple in the group.

Aaliyah moved on with life , she loved June - no doubt about that . But she realized he wasn't going to leave Mira so she moved on . They co- parent their daughter . Aniyah Ranae Amur.

When I got to the front I could see the big smiles on my close families faces , Sergios stood out the most . Him and Lakiya were still together . People ask about me being related to both him and her and honestly I can't describe how weird it is . Him and her only share their son but she claims Leilani as her own .

We got to the front and my father handing me off . "Who gives this woman to this man in marriage?" The priest asked .

"I do" My father said kissing me on the cheek . He stepped off, and fixed my dress a little so it was behind me. Walking off I guess his legs gave out and he did a little dip making everyone laugh.

Then the ceremony started.

"You okay?" I whispered to him , he looked like his cheeks hurted from smiling so hard . He did a light chuckle and nodded . "Kay.. love you. "

"Shh" He told me .

I passed my bouquet to Promise .

I put my hand over his .

"Dear friends and family, we are gathered here today to witness and celebrate the union of N'Ace Nari Moore , and Uday 'Black' Gysui Abdullah in marriage. In the years they have been together, their love and understanding of each other has grown and matured, and now they have decided to live their lives together as husband and wife."

I wonder if they do write all of that in the bible - looks like he's reading . I don't think so.

"I take you as my wedded wife, to share my life with you, and pledge that I will love, honor, and care for you in tenderness and affection, in all the many circumstances of our lives." He looked me in my eyes telling me .

"Can I kiss her now?" He asked the priest making people laugh.

"Not right now" Preist shook his head .

"Old ass" I heard my dad say , followed by a smack .

Black took the ring from Nau'Jae and slid it on my left hand - ring finger . "With this ring, I thee wed"

I turned around and grabbed the ring off of the pillow Yomi was holding up and looked in Blacks eyes sliding it on his finger.

"Through this ring, I accept you as my husband , now and for all time." I told him .

Bitch I'm married .

"And now, by the power vested in me by the State of Georgia , I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

He pulled me in by my waist and wrapped me tight connecting our lips together . I think this was supposed to be a peck i-.

"Okay -Okay" I heard my dad say before people started cheering and clapping.

"Ladies and Gentlemen , Family and Friends, I present to you- for the first time , Mr.and Mrs. N'Ace and Uday Abdullah."

I pulled away and smile raising my hand in the air showing them my ring and they got louder .

Yes I did that .

He got down and waved over Yomi , he slid a tiny ring on her finger before turning around and giving Nau'Jae a Diamond braclet that was shaped like bone- I realized it was the one that he was staring at when we went to the mall.

My eyes moved back to the empty chair , Bando was supposed to be sitting there . But sadly he was admitted into a mental hospital. Leaving his daughter with his mother .

"I love y'all" He pulled all of us into a hug and the lady took some picutres .

"I love you too" I kissed his lips ass the flash went off .
