𝙰𝚞𝚐𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝟼𝚝𝚑 , 𝟸𝟶𝟷𝟼 ⏌

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐔𝐄【 𝟐 】

It was the first day of 8th grade, we were so happy to actually be like the big kids in the school.

Me, Kashayla, and Promise walked inside the school together. We found our way to the cafeteria seeing everyone in their own worlds .

"N'Ace!" Taurus yelled catching everyone's attention and everyone including the teachers were staring at me. My eyes went wide .

I continued walking over to the table he was sitting at and sat next to him, followed by Promise and Kashayla.

Kashayla had a crush on Taurus, you could tell. He told me he wouldn't date her though, said she was ugly but she really wasn't ..

Sometimes her character was.

Me and Taurus started talking about whatever and I felt someone staring at me in the side of my face causing me to turn the other direction. It was Masiah, he was cute and all but Taurus was overprotective. So I couldn't see myself with anyone. I'm only thirteen, haven't even had my first kiss yet.

"Why you staring?" Taurus said before I could get anything out.

"Ian staring at ha." Masiah mugged him back and I sighed.

"Y'all need to stop..." I mumbled playing with my fingers.

They had a five minute mugging contest until Taurus kissed his teeth and looked back at me "Guess what?"

"What?" I whispered back. "And why we whispering?"

"I went to the movies with this one girl right?" He looked around and licked his lips, I nodded waiting for him to continue. "When it got real dark I started rubbing on her-"

"Ew." I cut him off gagging and he started laughing.

"I fingered her." He smiled looking off into space

"See thats nasty.." I shook my head. "Who was the girl?"

He made a face and I furrowed my eyebrows. "Loui." He stated and my face fell.

"My cousin?!"

"Shhh. "

"No don't tell me to 'sh' that's family Taurus you know— why would you mess with her? I thought you said we can't ever like each other's family members."

"That shit only goes for you not me..." He jerked his head back. "I do what I want. "

I scoffed and got up from the table as the bell rung and Promise ran up after me , once she caught up to me she was out of breath.

"Hey white girl." I laughed and she smiled nudging me. "I'm just playing."

"I know, everybody started calling me that after last thanksgiving so ion got a problem with it." She shrugged and clutched onto her backpack straps "What's wrong with you?"

"Taurus went to the movies with Loui." I sighed "He did something with her Red , and that's my cousin . He said we can't mess with eachothers family, it's unfair."

"Ew..." She gagged and I giggled, her phone started ringing for a minute, when she answered whoever it was was breathing hard and then hung up .

"Who is that?"

"Ion know." She shrugged "They keep hanging up."

"Star 69 them." I suggested and she gasped dramatically

"Excuse me I am not a ho."

Me and and Taurus made our way through the Martel Homes complex feilds . We departed after he we got passed his house . I tucked my hands in my pockets and made my way to the park .

Me and Taurus been cool since I don't know what , he wanted to do something with his life . He wanted to make it out the hood .

I wanted to do sum too but in all reality I know what it really is . When you from the southside aint nobody really making it out . Playing ball really wasn't  for me. All I knew was the streets , ian have no family . My mama always been a fein so she barely home .

I turned the corner to the side of the last building. Bumping into to somebody causing me to look up , it was the neighborhood dope boy Shalae .

"My bad" I mumbled.

"You good youngin' " He held his hand out and I dapped him up "Whatchu doing out here ?"

"Finna go meet up with this girl at the park" I shrugged checking my surroundings.

"Ohhh shit I see you lil man" He sparked his blunt

"It's not like that , but I wanted to talk to you bout sum..."

"What is it?"

"I wanna start hustling like y'all." I told him straight up and he started at me before bursting into laughter.

"What you know bout dope man?"

"I know enough , look I catch on real quick just let me do it . Ion have nobody, barely have clothes to go to school in ."

He ran his tongue across his top row of silvers "Aint you like 13?" He scrunched his face up

"Nah , I'm 14 . I turn 15 in December." I told him and he scratched his beard .

"You know this is grown-man business , right?"

"I know"

"You sure?" He asked and I blinked at him.

No duh bitch.

"Uh-huh"

"Ight , here" He dapped me up at I looked at the gram in the baggie he passed me "Sell that , come back and give me the money" He spat "And don't get caught "
