"Hello?"

"Uh h-hey, can y-you pick her up i-instead? My car doesn't h-have enough gas on it." Suyari told Kevin on the phone.

Suyari had the phone on her shoulder with her head layed on it while feeding Akilah.

"Yea fasho, why yu stutterin shorty?" He chuckled, asking.

Suyari had to come up with a quick lie.

"I-it's quite cold here, that's all." She got out.

"Oh okay, yu wanna maybe come over to ma crib? It's warm ova hea."

"We're coparenti-"

"I kno dat, i'm just choosin to be nice." He cut her off, chuckling.

"Well I-I honestly shouldn't e-even be welcomed over there anymore if we're being honest. I straight up disrespected you i-in your home." She said, sounding all raspy.

"Yea yu right but you ma baby moms, so. Yu welcomed over hea anytime but yo company? Dat shit is 'no go.'"

"I'm s-sorry again. I really am."

"I'm finna come get c'yall, see yu in a min." He sighed and hung up.

After Suyari then got herself and her baby dressed, she left the baby on her bed and of course didn't forget to put soft pallets on the floor, just in case if Akilah were to fall.

She then goes into her bathroom and reaches in her drawer, grabbing a drug needle that she took from someone at school who had a addiction of using it.

They told her 'it makes you feel good and helps vanish your problems away' and she was curious on trying it.

Ever since then, Suyari became addicted to it.

After putting something in the syringe, she wasted no time injecting herself with the needle which made her eyes clench in pain.

She suddenly start feeling a little hazy and powerfully high.

She could honestly say the feeling of it was...different.

"Yu fed her?" Kevin asked, snapping Suyari out of her thoughts.

"Mhm." She nod her head.

"You ate?" He asked.

"N-no, but I-I can last w-without eating."

"Girl get yo hungry ass up innat kitchen, I made shrimp gumbo." Kevin chuckled.

Suyari only nods her head at him, now feeling herself falling asleep.

"Aye don't fall asleep on me, na. Why yu so tired? And why da fucc you got a mask on?"

"C-can you just leave m-me alone?" She asked, rocking her body back and forth while sitting in a applesauce position.

Kevin stayed silent as he furrowed his eyebrows in confusion on why she was acting like that and why she's holding herself like it's cold.

"Yu cold?"

She shook her head as in 'No.'

"Hm. Imma bring yo food to you, aight?"

"K."

He then goes into the kitchen, thinking to himself deeply about Suyari.

'What's wrong wit shorty?' He thought, before taking a sneak peek behind the corner wall of the kitchen to only see Suyari still rocking back and forth on the living room floor and his baby sleep peacefully on the couch.

He just stood there observing her, noticing she hasn't been acting the same.

Suyari suddenly got to scratching on her arms and Kevin didn't pay much attention to it but the more she was scratching herself, Kevin eyebrows began to furrow.

'Lemme find out ha ass doin crack or any otha drug...' Kevin thought.

"Aye yu good?"

"Y-yes." She said, grabbing the plate of food he handed her.

Kevin noticed how her hands shook once she grabbed the plate, letting him know her nerves were bad.

She removed her mask which revealed her slight broken nose and busted lips that looked kind of fresh.

'I couldn't had did that...well maybe some of it but that shit looks a little too new.' Kevin thought.

"Man, yu sure yu good?"

"K-kevin, i'm f-fine."

"Why yu keep stutterin, man?" He sighed in frustration.

"J-just stop talk-"

Suyari suddenly layed out on the floor, surprisingly started having a seizure with foam coming out her mouth.

Kevin quickly grabbed Suyari to him and wasted no time picking her up, now walking around his house with her in full worriness.

He didn't know what to do in this situation but call someone.

"Aw shitt!" He grunted panicking as Suyari mouth continued having foam running down her chin, now on his shoulder.

'Fuck.' He said to himself, now trying to get himself ready and the baby's carseat so they can head to the hospital.

But before they can go, Suyari stopped having a seizure and just broke down in tears.

"Get o-off of mee!! Move!" She sobbed loudly, now trying to fight her way out of his grip.

Kevin set the baby's carseat down with his other hand and fully picked up Suyari, making her wrap her legs around him tightly.

He quietly hushed her as she gave up on fighting him and held on him tightly.

"D-don't let me go..please don't let m-me go." She sobbed, holding his neck desperately as he held her tightly from her torso.

He rocked her like his own baby while walking around his house to soothe her cries that pinched his heart.

He tried fighting his tears but one tear escaped from his eye, surprisingly.

"Thank you." Suyari said, taking the glass cup of water from Kevin as he nod his head at her in 'you welcome.'

Silent began to fill his bedroom with only the baby snores and the ice clinking against her glass cup.

Suyari drank from her cup before setting it down on the floor, now getting in eye contact with Kevin who had his eyes squinting at her.

"What..?"

"Yu doin drugs?" He asked out of no where, catching her off guard.

"No Kevin, I-"

"Yari, please don't lie to me. Is yu takin drugs, ma nigga?" He sighed, asking.

Suyari got quiet just looking at Akilah's sleeping figure before grabbing her cup of water again.

"Helloo?"

"I-I've been stressing..that's all."

"Yu ain't answer da question and what da fucc happened to yo nose and lips, Yari? I kno for a fact ian damage that much shit on yo face." He said.

"C-can I just please drink this water, peacefully?" She sighed.

Kevin suddenly took the cup of water from her.

"What are you doing?" She groaned in annoyance.

"Now talk to me. Yu takin drugs or what?"

"Yes, Kevin! There, are you happy at the fact that I-I'm going through it since I disrespected you and moved on? You probably wished I would go through the same type of pain as you, you cursed me huh?" She snapped, asking which surprised Kevin.

'Oh wow..I barely stuttered.' Suyari said to herself.

"Man naw, what da fuck is yu talking about? That drug gettin to you, I see. Listen, Yari. My intentions were never to fucking hurt you and for you to do that bogus shit in ma house is one of the most foulest thing you could ever do to somebody but like you said, you moved on and I left it at that and told myself that I would have to move on, yu feel me?" Kevin said.

"I'm not tryin to be stuck on yu anymore and that sounds immature as hell for you to think I cursed you." He chuckled.

"I-I mean, I wouldn't put it pass it." Suyari said.

"Yea ight but what typa fuckin drug you use?" He asked.

"It was a drug n-needle." She got out.

"Da fucc you doin takin a drug needle? Yu tryna die?" He asked, mugging her.

"I wouldn't mind." Suyari muttered.

"Now yu talkin reckless, watch what da fucc yu sayin man and i'm comin to yo house and i'm takin dat bitch." He said, referring to the drug needle.

"Um..no you're not."

"Says who?"

"Kevin y-you can do that." Suyari said, feeling her bottom lip tremble.

"Aw hell naw, you addicted that fast? I'm definitely takin dat shit, you got me fucked up." He said, shaking his head.

"Yu just now wakin up?" Kevin asked, all cuddled up with some girl on his couch who couldn't seem to stop looking at Suyari.

"Uh y-yeah." Suyari answered awkwardly while holding Akilah.

"Yu wanna go home?" He asked but only for Suyari to say 'no.'

She wasn't ready to go home since it seemed so dead there.

"Why she just standin there? lookin like summer walker head ass." The girl asked, turning her lips up at Suyari.

"Don't get disrespectful." Suyari rolled her neck at her.

"Aye watch how yu speakin to ha, das ma babymoms." Kevin mugged her.

"She yo babymoms? What she doin ova here if she da babymoms? Yu still fuckin her?-"

"Yu askin too many questions, shut da fuck up or yu can escort yo ass up outta hea." He said aggressively as the girl rolled her eyes, now putting her eyes on the TV.

"Come sit down." Kevin tells Suyari and she listens to him.

"Yu want some?" Kevin asked, holding a bag of popcorn towards her and Suyari gladly takes the bag and ate some while holding Sarai who kept her eyes on Kevin with a little smile as a little drool ran down her chin.

"Watchu lookin at, hm? Watchu lookin at?" Kevin baby talked her, bringing a bigger smile upon her face.

"Aww, can I hold her?" The girl asked, making Suyari side eye her.

"Nah yu straight." Kevin said, patting the girl shoulder which made her mug him.

"Yu doin too much." The girl rolled her eyes, now putting her eyes on Suyari.

"Can I hold her?" She asked Suyari this time.

Suyari was hesitant before she handed Sarai to her, just trying to be nice.

"Aww, hey little babyyy." She cooed, holding Sarai's head up and her little butt.

"Hold her head up right." Kevin said.

"Boy, I am."

Sarai just sat there looking at the girl before her bottom lip poked out, looking at her parents like she was silently asking to get her out of this lady's hold.

"Uh oh."

The baby suddenly cried loudly.

"Gimme ma baby." Kevin mugged her.

"Fetch!" The girl suddenly threw the baby at the TV completely hard which made ink come through the TV.

"I KNOW YOU FUCKIN LYIN!" Suyari yelled reaching underneath the couch, grabbing a machete before slicing the girl's head completely off as her head rolled on the wooden floor, trailing blood.

A/N: lemme stop playin with c'yall like that..😂. Resume.

"Gimme ma baby." Kevin mugged her.

The girl rolled her eyes before handing the crying baby to Kevin.

The baby continued crying which confused Kevin and Suyari.

"She's never cried that much." Suyari said.

"Lemme find out yo ass sneakily pinched ma baby, imma beat yo ass." Kevin said to the girl.

"Oh hush, y'all baby clearly don't like goin to nobody. She's a brat, i'll tell ya."

"Watch yo fuckin mouf."

The baby finally stopped crying as Kevin continued patting the baby's back to soothe her.

"Got ma baby fucked up."

"Boyaaaa, it ain't neva dat serious." The girl rolled her eyes.

"It is dat serious if it's involvin ma baby."

"Whateva."

Suyari couldn't help but feel that stinging feeling in her heart at the sight of Kevin and that girl all cuddled up next by her on the couch.

'I miss being cuddled like that..' Suyari thought to herself.

A phone ringing suddenly catches Suyari's attention, realizing it was Kevin's phone.

She was the only one awake in the living room and she thought to look at the contact name on Kevin's phone.

Suyari furrowed her eyebrows at the contact name before answering it, not saying anything.

"Daddyyyy, i'm horn-"

Suyari quickly hung up, feeling cringe.

'I guess he got all his hoes back...' Suyari thought.
