"What do you mean I can't see Naruto!?" Minato apologetically looks at Nakano, who looked as if she was about to cry.

"They don't want you to see him since you're both the fox's jinchuruuki."

"For one, his name is Kurama. And two, I don't give a crap with what the council says! They're stuck in the past like some old boomers!"

'The heck are boomers?'

"I really didn't want this Nakano...I just wanted you to be his elder sister but they just- They dont trust you..."

"Trust me? They don't trust me?! " She chuckled bitterly. "I lost my teammates, broke promises, fought  with my own clan. All for this village and they don't trust me!? Are they insane?!"

"Nakano, I'm sorry..."

"Why do you even listen to them?" She bites her lip to stop it's quivering. "How old are they- 200 or something?"

"60-"

"right. So they're two hundred years old, meaning their memories are worsening and are stuck in the past? Just kill em already, they've caused enough trouble."

"I can't do that."

"Why?"

"They were appointed by the first and second hokage-"

"-Who's dead, might I add. Which only further proves how old they are!"

Minato sighs.  "I'll take it up with them one last time, but we're still a little troubled with Danzo's death."

"D-Danzos death?" He nodded seriously. 

"A week ago after the nine-tails attack, we found Danzo's body under some rubble."

"Oh..." 'Good for him.'

"That's unfortunate."

"Not really." Minato admitted. "But it is for the council, I guess."

"Can I go now?"

"Yes, but one last thing..."

"What is it Mina-Nii?" He smiled at the nickname, happy that at least hadn't changed.

"I've got an offer for you."

"Unless its a year supply of free dango, I don't want it." He sweatdropped and laughed, shaking his head.

"If you want to go on this long term mission with a team of ANBU, i'll be waiting. Though, the deadline will be in a week."

"A week!?"

"So you're considering it?"

"Yes."

"You're not curious as to how long it'll be?"

"As long as I get to visit sometimes."

"I can arrange that." He placed the paper in her hands. "Ten years."

"T-T..." She sighed. "I'll take it."

"Really? Shouldn't you discuss this with your family-"

"No."

"I see..." He closed his eyes for a few seconds and took in deep breaths, letting them out.

"Mina-Nii?"

"Hm?"

"Could you tell Sasuke about me?" A tear escaped her eyes. "Itachi will be busy and i'll barely be here, but I don't want him to forget about me..."

"Nakano..." She softly closed her eyes and laughed bitterly. "Nevermind. I'll see you around Mina-Nii."

"Nakano!" He yelled out before she could leave. "No one will forget you. I promise."

"Thanks...I'd like that."

"Shisui-Chan."

"Naka-Kun!" Shisui beamed with a grin, looking at the female who looked back.

"Can you promise me something?"

"Yeah, anything." He assured much to her relief.

"Teach Itachi everything, please."

"What-?"

"Just guide him. Guide him to become a great shinobi without as much pain as you can. But don't tell him I told you this, okay?"

"..."

"Please promise me."

"...I-I will." He nodded seriously. "But why are you acting like this? Like you're about to die."

'Cuz i'm dead insiiiiide~'

"I'm leaving for a while. In short, I wont be back for ten years."

"Ten years?"

"Yeah. Can you handle Itachi till then?"

"Of course. Anything for you, Naka-Chan."

She silently stared at him for a while, just hoping the grin on his face remained for as long as it could. She smiled and pulled him into a hug, one he happily returned.

"I'll get stronger, Naka-Chan. And then both Itachi and I will save you."

"Save me?" She laughed. "What do you mean save me?"

"We can see it." He pulled back and locked eyes with her, looking at the sudden uncertainty and confusion in her black orbs.

"Itachi and me. We can see it, even though others cant. It's like you're drowning in a black pool, but you keep coming back." He frowned.

"We want you to stay up. Itachi's made it his goal to save you and protect Sasuke and the village, no matter what because he loves his Aneki and she means the world to him." 

"..." Nakanos mouth was parted, and her dilated orbs were shaking slightly in shock.

Wasn't Itachi different from the show? He was some innocent kid, right? She made sure of it.

"When did he tell you this?"

"Three years ago."

"What...!?"

"When he was three years old, he could already see the sadness in his Aneki's eyes and when she didn't actually smile. He hates it."

He smiles.

"Itachi just wants you to smile, Naka-Chan."

"Danzo, huh?" She gives a lopsided grin. 

'My plan worked. Kill Shimura Danzo, successful.'

How did it happen?

Well, apparently the old man wasn't very strong if you cut off his arm and get rid of his eye.

It was the night before the nine-tails attack. Even though Obito was in the village, she got a feeling Madara had another plan with a second Uchiha. It was just her gut feeling, but that tended to be right.

She was in the shadows, and highly amused when none of his wind style attacks landed. He acted like a frustrated child, and eventually panicked when she used her susanoo and practically crushed him to death.

Yeah, she wasn't fond of him.

At all. 

It was insane how much trouble Danzo gave everyone when he was so weak. And he thought he was stronger than Hiruzen, which made her laugh like crazy.

And she made sure to place his body under some rubble to make it look like he died in the attack. It was the perfect timing.

Nakano smiles at the sunset and sighs happily, enjoying her moment of relaxation.

"Kano-Chan." She smiles and doesn't answer, closing her eyes.

"You awake? Because I swear, if you're sleeping here I will slap you."

"Hey!" She sits up and glares at him, but he just sends a playful smile.

"Hi. How ya been?"

"I was better but now that i've seen you..." She sucks in a breath and grimaces. 

"Can't say the same." He reaches out and pulls her cheek with a sneer.

"Oi."

"Ow! Ow! Stop that!"

"Your pain tolerance is terrible."

"I know, but that huuuuurts!" He pulled harder and smirked as she whined.

"Not using your infinity now, are you?" She deadpans and sighs as much as she could with him pulling her cheek.

"You're still pissy about that?"

"Not pissy. Just surprised you actually used it on me."

"had I not, Sensei would have died, and you don't want that."

"Yeah, I know."

"Good. Now let go of my cheek!"

"No. Your pouting is adorable." Her lip quivered as her neck slowly began to heat up.

"Stop that! Go tease someone else!" He laughed and took his fingers off, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her into an awkward hug.

"H-HeY!" The cracking of her voice only further amused her best friend, and he just wanted to keep teasing her.

"Let me g-go!" She squirmed in his arms with a red face, embarrassed and flustered but he only pulled her closer.

"No. I don't want to."

"Let. Me. Go!"

"No."

She looks away and sighs, giving up and just settling for hiding her face in his chest.

"Kano-Chan?"

"What?"

"I heard about your mission."

"So that's why you trapped me."

"Heh. Now you can't escape."

"Jerk."

"Idiot."

"Meanie."

"Can't think of better insults."

"Peasant."

"I'm literally from a prestigious clan."

"And i'm from a superior clan."

"Oho~ We're talking about status now?"

"No." She quickly pushes against him once he tries to lean closer until their noses were touching.

"Kano-Chan."

"W-What?"

"I love you." She bursts into a deeper shade of red than before, her mouth slightly open. It's not like there was anything special about those three words, but with the lack of space between them, she could feel his breath on her neck.

"I-I love you too."

"Mm, good."  He grins and releases her. "That's all I needed to know."

"Eh?"

"Just...Make sure you come back, okay? I've found it's useless to stop you most of the time."

"Phew." She wipes a fake sheath of sweat from her forehead.

"At least you know now."

"Just make sure you come back. And then we can get some ramen together. Maybe with both Sasuke and Naruto."

"Kakashi-Chan, I can't. I'm banned from talking to Naruto-"

"Man, since when did you become a wimp?" She frowns and glares at him.

"What?"

"We barely ever listen to the rules, remember?"

"Kakashi-Chan..."

"I'll make it happen somehow, don't worry." He smiles. "Just leave it to me, you can depend on me."

"It's alright-"

"I said you can depend on me." He cuffs the back of her head.

"Ow!"

"Stop trying to do everything by yourself."

"Okay, I get that. But why did you have to hit me!?" He cuffs her again.

"Ow!" An irk mark appeared on her forehead. "Okay, I know you didn't need to do that!"

"I know." He snickers. "Just felt like it."

She huffs and rubs her head, muttering curses non-stop until a hand to the back of her neck stops her.

A pair of lips press onto her forehead, making her still.

A pair of bare lips.

"H-Huh?"

"Just come back safely." His closed eye smile made something in her flutter, and her face turned red.

"O-Okay."

"Just don't faint right now, please."

"O-Okay."

She still fainted.
