(I feel like this song matches Nakano for shippuden.)

"I'm just...Not meantΒ to be happy, am I?"

"You couldn't control this. Don't blame yourself."

"It's my fault."

"You're being irrational, you couldn't control it."

"Kurama, you're just trying to cheer me up."

"Would you get it through your thick skull that none of this is your fault!"

"...I was reckless..."

"It happens to many. You're a kunoichi, it was unavoidable!"

"Kurama..." Nakano clenched her eyes and stared down at the medical paper in front of her with unshed tears.

"Kakashi's going to be mad. What if he...Leaves me?"

"The only thing he'll be mad about, is you considering that." Kurama pushed her with his snout inside the cell, making her fall and sit.

"..."

"Listen..." Kurama sighed and sat up, crossing his legs. "I guess no matter what I say, you'll blame yourself for this. But if this hurts you till the point that more...Negative thoughts cross your mind, I'm taking over and I'll knock 'ya out for a week!"

"Don't...Do that,please."

"Then pull yourself together!"

"Nee-Chan?" Nakano turns around, feeling a light flutter in her heart at the sight of her brother figure.

"Hey, Naruto. Did you enjoy your travels?" He grinned and jumped in front of her, Jiraiya close behind.

"Yeah! The world is so big, I barely got to explore all of it!"

"I see," She ruffled his hair. "I'm happy you're okay."

"Yeah, those Kapaski idiots can't get me!"

"Akatsuki, Naruto." Jiraiya corrected while Nakano winced a little at his loud voice. Nevertheless, she allowed a small laugh to leave her lips, and was thankful for her blindfold since the smile didn't meet her eyes one bit.

Seeming to notice this, Jiraiya rose an eyebrows and inspected her.

"You look terrible."

"I know," Naruto flinched and stared at her as if she was insane. "Eh?"

"I said I know."

"Pervy-Sage!" Naruto turned to him with an accusing finger. "It must've been your face! Nee-Chan would never agree to looking bad!"

"EH?!" A punch landed on Narutos head from the tall man. "I'll have you know, women swoon over my looks all the time!"

"Oh yeah? By slapping you?!" While the two argued, Nakano watched stoically, not exactly in the mood to smile anymore. It wasn't until Narutos stomach rumbled, that the two loudmouths ended their bickering and laughed sheepishly.

"I know!" Naruto grinned once again and yelled loudly, making Nakano also wince and whine internally.

"Let's go get some ramen!" Before he could speak again, though. The clan head ruffled his blonde locks and informed him she was unfortunately busy. Naruto pursed his lips and frowned, watching her walk away in slight disappointment.

"She's the clan head now, kid." The sannin doubted his own words. "Of course she'd be busy."

"Yeah, I know..." Grumbling, the growing boy kicked at the ground lightly. "I just thought we could talk since I came back. I just missed her..."

"Yo. I'm here." The jonin sent her bewildered looks, the most bewildered and concerned being her fiances. But she ignored them all and collapsed into her chair. The hokage, who sighed at her strange attitude, and saw an image of his younger sister figure, began speaking.

"Regarding the issue with the Akatsuki, we've decided it's best to keep the nine tails vessels protected." His eyes darted to Nakano who didn't even look surprised at this point, or maybe she didn't even care.

It was both.

'Idiots.' She rolled her eyes and leaned back in her chair, flinching the slightest when a hand slipped into her own, and her fiance sent her a look of concern.

Unable to look him in the eyes, despite wearing a blindfold. She looked away and back to the Namikaze, silently listening to his words. It was clear that Minato disagreed with what he was ordered to do, and would rather allow both his son and sister figure to be free. But, the council wouldn't allow it.

"Hey," She drawled, causing everyones attention that was previously on the blonde haired man to turn to her.

"Want me to kill the council?"

Everyone's chakra stilled at her words, feeling her chakra roam around freely in anger, they shuddered a little.

"No." Came the firm reply from the fourth. "You will not harm any of your comrades."

"I see," She laughed. "But they're almost expired. I should just put them out of their misery."

"That's enough.Β " There was no way Minato would admit he wanted the two old idiots to leave. After all, they were chosen by Senju Tobirama himself.

"Alright, alright..." Her mouth opened to release a yawn as Kakashi tightened his grip on her hand.

"But I refuse to stay sheltered even though you and I are of equal strength." He sighed, knowing there was no way she'd budge from this.

Obito, who was listening silently like the rest of the jonin, stood with his eyes shadowed.

"Obito?"

"I'm tired of the council." He grit his teeth. "Nakano has done so much for this village, yet they still don't trust her? When I'm the hokage, you best bet the next council will be new and improved!Β "

"Huh..." Nakano snickered. "Thanks man. But really, it doesn't matter what you say, Mina-nii. I will not stay back."

"I see..." Minato hid the small smile on his face. "I'll speak to them."

"Mm, good." Kakashi sighed and released her hand that he was gripping tightly. Nakano took her blindfold off, startling them all, and revealing her onyx eyes. Her blue eye searched the room before she lazily pointed at one of the random jonin.

"Him right there. He's been giving info to the Akatsuki." He panicked.Β

"W-What are you talking about, Nakano-Sama?"

"Eh, he's deaf too?"

"Yosuke-San," Minato stood and narrowed his eyes at the man. Without a doubt, he was a traitor if Nakano said he was. But as hokage, he needed to be fair.

"Is this true?"

"O-Of course not!"

"What proof do you have?" He caught the image Nakano had thrown at him, showing a picture of a masked figure in a cloak speaking to Yosuke.Β

"Not just that. I sent Itachi to place him under a genjutsu and fondle with his brain, he's a traitor. Can I go get food now?"

They ignored her last statement as Yosuke bolted for the doors. Minato shook his head and stepped forwards to catch the man, when Yosuke suddenly fell to the ground, a large cut in his arm.

"Hey..." Nakano stared at him with Onyx eyes, tiredly glaring at him. "Stay still, would 'ya? I'm tryna sleep."

It was almost terrifying how she could complete tasks so easily and without a care.

But Kakashi knew this wasn't like Nakano. Usually, she'd have either tortured the info out of the guy mentally or physically, or quickly killed him and skipped away.

Nakano was being a little too much like her past self.Β

Kakashi wondered, what was wrong with his fiance?

I'm actually so mean.

What do you think has made her so sad?
