Louis

i was laying in bed contemplating all my life choices when my phone starts ringing, i pick it up quickly hoping it's Leah.

"hello?" i say.

"Louis?"

"uh, who is this?" i ask.

"Katie, remember Leahs old roommate?"

"oh, right, why are you calling?" i ask.

"Leahs been home for one day and she's already moping, she keeps talking about how she thinks she's still in love. but she won't tell anyone who with, but let's be honest here, it's you, she's still in love with you."

"wait, are you begin serious?" i ask.

"dead ass, now get your ass out of London and fly to Seattle!"

"wa-" i start to say.

"pip pip cheerio!" she says before hanging up.

the fuck? i had more important things to worry about, i packed a bag and rushed to the airport leaving a note for my family as they were out at a dinner.

when i got there i bought a ticket, i made my way to my gate and felt my phone vibrate.

"hello?" i say.

"hey it's me Katie, do people in London say pip pip cheerio? because i didn't work with people from London." she says. "anyway, are you on your way?"

"i'm at the gate right now," i say.

"ok, good." she says.

"and people don't say that, just so you know." i say.

"got it, ok well text me when you land and i'll send you the address." she says.

"ok-" i start to say but she hangs up.

____________

after a very long flight i had arrived in Seattle, luckily i had packed right and brought a rain coat. thank goodness i did because it was pouring, it was 8 in the morning and the airport was already busy.

i texted Katie and she sent me an address, i hailed a cab and showed the driver the address. i put my bag in the trunk and drove off, the ride was silent and i kept getting texts from Millie and Issie asking where i was. did they not get my note?

Issie calls me and i pick up, "yes?" i say.

"where the hell are you?" she says.

"Seattle," i say.

"are you serious?" she says.

"yes, don't be mad ok?" i say.

"i'm not mad, mom and dad aren't either but just because they aren't now doesn't mean they won't be later." she says. "now, good luck, go get her!"

"thanks Is," i say.

she hangs up the phone and i look up, wow, even though it was pouring rain it was gorgeous. i hear my phone ringing i pick it up,

"hello?" i say.

"Louis? it's me, Katie, again, listen, school is in session, we're about to go to our free period, i'm sending you the address." she says.

"oh, okay?" i say.

there's commotion on the other end, "is that him?" i hear another voice say.

"yeah so wha-"

"is this Louis? this is Sophie one of Leahs best friends, i hope you're happy to know that she-"

"Sophie!"

there's a bit of silence, "oh! never mind, good luck with!"

she hangs up the phone and a few minutes later i get an address, "uhm hey, do you mind driving me to this address instead?" i ask.

he nods, "so, you live around here?" he asks.

"no, just visiting." i say. "why?"

"this is one of the wealthiest towns in Washington, whoever you're visiting, is on the wealthier side." he says.

"i know," i say.

after ten minutes of more driving we pull into a parking lot, miraculously the rain stopped and it was clear and sunny. weird weather, i step out of the car and hear someone running towards me.

"Louis!" i see Katie running towards me. "good you're here, put your bag in my car and follow me."

she takes my bags and throws them into her car, "ok, listen, bleachers, that's where she is." she says.

"ok," i say.

Katie leaves me in front of a huge school and walks into the opposite direction and into the school, she gives me a thumbs up before entering inside. i walk straight and then turn and see bleachers,

i was standing at the top looking down and saw Leah sitting down with a few of her friends. one of her friends spots me and smirks before turning back to Leah and continuing on conversation. i down the steps and stop at the aisle where she's sitting,

her friend taps her leg and points, Leah stands up.

"surprise," i say.

"what are you doing here?" she asks walking over to me.

"i came to tell you-" i get cut off by her kissing me, it begins to pour again.

"i know," she says pulling away.

"i love you," i say.

"i love you too," she says.

i kiss her again, my arms were wrapped around her waist pulling her closer to me. her arms were draped around my neck, she pulled away from me.

"you were right, it is always raining,"
