Louis

i wake up still holding onto Leah, she's still sound asleep. i hear her phone buzz and i reach over to pick it up. i check the phone but she has a password, it's Leah, what would her password be? i type her name in numbers and the phone unlocks, i check the texts and see someone named Chris texting her.

i messed up, please forgive me

no, stop texting me

why? give me one good reason

if you don't stop, i'm going to call the police, don't you have a girlfriend?

we broke up

so i'm a second resort?

no, i loved you, and i still do, cmon, we were the homecoming king and queen for two years.

i'm busy, i have more important things to do

oh, right that modeling career.

yeah, so stop texting, calling and contacting me

what? you wanna give us another try?

that was it, she never responded.

those texts were sent last night, an hour before she came to my house. i put her phone down and at that second she wakes up, she inhales sharply and runs her hand through her hair.

"good morning," i whisper.

"morning," she says turning to me, she smiles weakly and i kiss the top of her head. "i need to shower," she chuckles and gets up. "thanks for coming over, even though you didn't have to."

"not a problem," i say, she walks into the bathroom and i get up as well.

i contemplate if i should look at her phone again before seeing another message pop onto her screen.

he has the right to know, you shouldn't have to think about it.

i open the app and read through the texts, Leah had told this person about whoever Chris was and her friend was saying she should tell me. Leah was thinking about Chris, thinking about how he could've changed.

i put the phone down and leave her apartment.
