Leah

after the photo shoot i leave for the hotel, on my way there i get a text from Louis.

how'd the photoshoot go?

fine, i watched your interview between shots.

oh, so what are you doing tonight?

nothing, what did you have in mind?

ever been to a place called Renew?

no,

well then that's where we're going tonight,

alright fine, what time are we going?

6 o'clock

can't wait,

i could wait, i felt like someone had reached into my chest and grabbed my heart. but i have to put on a brave face, i'll be fine, this is just a small crush that i have. it'll go away, i know it will.

time flies, before i know it i'm heading out the hotel room and going down to the lobby to meet Louis. when i do he leads me out to the car and we drive to the restaurant.

"so, that Chanel fashion show is coming up soon." he says once we're seated and looking through the menu.

"yeah, i'm a bit nervous to be honest." i say.

"anyone would be, you're doing a runway show, have you ever done one before?" he asks.

"oh sure, like three, but they weren't as big as Chanel." i say.

"well i wish you good luck," he says.

"so, uhm guess now people won't worry about us dating huh?" i ask breaking the silence.

"yeah, i guess so." he says, his smile fades a bit and he looks away and back at the menu.

we order our food and i look around the restaurant, i begin to notice multiple people with their phones out taking photos of Louis and i. a lot of them are whispering as well, i'm guessing we've just been spotted.

i clear my throat, "Lou, there are people taking photos of us." i whisper. he looks up and sees everyone.

"just ignore them, ok?" he says.

"i can't, they're kind of invading our privacy." i say. "this doesn't bother you?"

"no, i mean why should it? we signed up for this, obviously not expecting this to be the downside." he says. "i thought you said you deal with this stuff all the time."

"i do, just not this bad. i mean usually when i go into public i only worry about paparazzi, but when i go into a restaurant i don't worry about it at all." i say.

"look, we have to act like those people aren't there, alright?" he says. "don't let them, spoil your evening."

"yeah i guess you're right," i say.

"always am," he chuckles.

"don't get to cocky," i say chuckling.

we both laugh and enjoy the rest of our evening.
