When I get home, I can hear the shower on and I'm unable to stop myself from groaning at the thought of Aurora's petite little body, naked and wet in our shower. I make my way into my room and leave my door open purposefully. I'm standing by my desk beside the door when I hear soft footsteps hurrying across the hallway. Struggling to open her door is Aurora in only a white towel. The struggle of having two damp hands, one to hold her towel up and the other holding her dirty clothes, makes it difficult to open her door.

She sees me standing there and blushes, trying even harder to get the door to open now that I'm watching. I stride over to her in two steps before sliding my hand in between her body and the door to grip the door handle, turning it and opening the door for her. With my hand still on the door, I don't let go so that she can't get past. "Chase's girlfriend and her friend Faye are downstairs swimming if you want to join them. Faye really wants to meet you." She looks up at me with wide green eyes full of innocence and curiosity.

Realization fills her face and she shakes her head sadly. "I can't, I haven't a bathing suit." She says quietly, almost to herself. Her pink lips form into a pout and I force myself to look away from any of her features. I'm torturing myself by standing beside her almost naked body but I can't break away.

"I'm sure Lexi has one here that you could borrow, I'll ask her to bring it up." I offer and she grins at me, biting her lower lip excitedly. Her hand lets go of her towel and my eyes dart down. When it doesn't fall, I look back at her sweet smile.

"That's so sweet. Thank you, Maddox." She smiles genuinely.

"I'm not sweet," I mutter and turn around, going downstairs to find Lexi. I throw open the doors to the backyard and see Lexi on Chase's shoulders and Faye on Reece's playing chicken in the shallow end of the pool. "Hey Thompson, Aurora doesn't have a suit, do you have an extra?" I ask, raising my voice so they can hear me over their laughter. Lexi just looks at me and shakes her head pouting.

"Oh! I do! Is she small?" Faye asks, hopping out of the pool and my eyes rake her body. She's wearing a one-piece red bathing suit like the kind they wear on Baywatch and she looks amazing. Her fair skin is covered in orange freckles and her hair is dark red from the water. She grabs her bag.

"Tiny, but she's taller," I say, and I walk back into the house with Faye behind me, leading her up the stairs to Aurora's room.

"Okay, if she's too small the top might not fit her, but we can try." I want to say I doubt it will but there's no need to draw attention to my knowledge of Aurora's chest size. Faye just happened to be very blessed in that department. I have zero preference.

I knock on the door. "Faye is here, she's Lexi's friend and she has an extra suit," I say, backing up.

"Come in!" Aurora raises her voice through the closed door and I turn around to go downstairs so that I'm not tempted to camp outside her door like a creep. She doesn't need an escort to find her way to the backyard.

When I reach the bottom of the stairs, I take a running start, sprinting through the open doors before jumping in the pool and splashing Lexi, Chase, Luke, and a few other guys from the team who must have joined while I was upstairs. The soccer house has a revolving door of people coming in and out of it.

Each of them splashes me once I surface and a water fight starts. "God damn," Eric says with his eyes facing something behind me as I splash him and he doesn't react. I turn around and my mouth opens; Aurora is standing there, looking flustered and nervous, in a tiny red bikini that must belong to Faye. The top is strapless and has a big cutout in the middle, showing off her small, but perfect cleavage. The top looks almost too loose but not noticeably. My eyes scan the entire length of her body.

Faye leads her out with a devious grin aimed directly at me, obviously catching my blatant perusal. Aurora bends over to feel the temperature of the water and my chest tightens. She walks down the steps, slowly submerging herself and I know I'm not the only one watching the show. Biting her lip in hesitation, Aurora dips her head back to wet her long blonde hair, completely unaware of her audience.

I don't notice Chase swimming over to me until I hear his voice. "How the hell am I supposed to keep their grubby little hands off my sister. The twats haven't stopped eye-fucking her since she arrived." He growls quietly, motioning his head over to Theo, Eric, and Paul. I wince, knowing that I'm basically one of them, her admirers.

"They won't touch her man, they wouldn't dare. I'd fucking rip their heads off if they did." He smiles at me and slaps my back. If only he knew that the thought of them touching her, instead of me, has my hands clenching beneath the water. I don't want to be like them. The fact that Paul and Theo are going into the kitchen to get burgers with Eric and Luke helps calm me down though.

"Let's have another chicken fight!" Faye yells, looking over at me and smirking. What the hell is she planning? Lexi eagerly climbs onto Chase's shoulders, Faye swims over to Reece and he helps her climb onto his, and that leaves Aurora and I. Chase looks at me expectantly and I cringe, trying to look like the pairing bothers me when in reality, I'm relieved that it's me that will be touching her and not Reece.

I wade over to her slowly and she just looks at all of us with confusion. "What is a chicken fight?" She asks, so adorably that I almost sigh.

"Climb on and you'll find out." She looks at me like I'm going to eat her. As much as I'd like to, I turn my back to face her and duck under the water. I feel her soft hands on my shoulders and her legs wrap around me. Standing up with her on my shoulders, her thighs tighten around my head and I stifle a groan as her long, dainty fingers tug at my hair.

I'm thankful that the height of the water where I stand reaches above the waistband of my shorts when I grip onto her soft milky thighs. Keeping a good hold on her, I ensure that she stays on, if not just to have her against me and no one else for as long as possible. "Just watch, Princess,"I say as Lexi and Faye begin to wrestle, pushing and pulling at each other's arms.Β  This results in Faye toppling off of Reece's shoulders, coming up spitting out water, and laughing.

"No fair!" She argues playfully with Lexi, turning to look at Aurora and me expectantly. My grip tightens on her legs when I feel Aurora bend down to put her lips closer to my ear.

"Please don't let go of me. I don't want to fall." She says, her voice full of vulnerability and I give her legs a reassuring squeeze, my thumb absentmindedly running up and down her smooth, wet skin. I'd give anything to see the two of us right now. Faye and Reece climb out of the pool to make more room for us and I nod at Chase.

"Game on," I say and step towards him. Lexi takes it easy on Aurora at first but eventually giving in to her competitive nature, she pushes Aurora off of my shoulders. Instead of just letting her fall, I latch my arms around her body before she can even go under the water. I push her blonde hair back off her face and she looks up at me with a huge smile.

"That was so fun!" She shrieks. "Let's go again!" She says trying to spin me around by gripping my shoulders but I don't budge, just standing there smirking down at her. "Maddox." She pouts, looking up at me with puppy-dog eyes as she tries to climb me like a tree. "I wanna play."

Holy fuck.

The way she says it, in addition to her wet skin against mine, causes a stirring in my shorts. I break our eye contact and wade over to the wall, climbing out of the pool. "Don't you want to see the video?" Faye asks as I pass her, grabbing a towel off of a lawn chair.

"No." Yes. Rushing upstairs all the while grumbling under my breath. I didn't fail to notice the look of genuine disappointment on her face when I left her in the pool. She's too innocent for her own good.
