"BESTFRANNNN!" Nykera heard someone yell down the hall. She rolled her eyes already knowing who it was.

She ignored the voice and kept walking.

"BESTIEEEEE!" The person yelled again.

She sighed heavily, stopping as Janiah walked up to her.

"Why you been ignoring us?" Janiah asked.

"I wasn't." She said dryly.

"You was. Why?"

"Mane don't ask me stupid shit like that. Bitch you can't act like I'm just supposed to forget how y'all all put me up yesterday!"

"Girl.. you still holding a grudge about that? It was just a lil jokey joke we didn't know you would take it to heart."

"Yeah whatever." Nykera waved her off about to walk away.

"Wait." Janiah grabbed her arm.

She stared at her blankly waiting for her to say something.

"I got you snacks.." Janiah said and a smile spread across Nykera's face.

"Cmon." Janiah said after giving her the snacks.

"Where we going?" Nykera asked.

"We all ditching." She said.

"Oh.. ima stay."

"Girl what? Why? Yo stepdad done scared you beyond straight huh?" Janiah laughed.

Nykera didn't. "I gotta catch up with stuff. Y'all have fun though."

"Bro come on. You so lame bro. All them older hood niggas gon be there." Janiah said pulling her arm.

"I said no!" She snatched away mugging her.

Janiah raised her eyebrows. She was surprised Nykera said no and even raised her voice at her. Nykera was always pressured by them to do bad stuff and she always said yes because she wanted to fit in. They were always a bad influence and she would always get herself in trouble dealing with them because she simply couldn't say no. This was the first.

"Ight then bitch, youn gotta come hoe. Lame ass."

Nykera shrugged walking away and heading to her next class.

"At least I got snacks.." She mumbled.

"Your late." Her history teacher glared at her as she walked in her classroom.

"Mhm.." She hummed sitting in the back.

"You know your really gonna fail or even get held back if you keep this up." Her teacher warned.

Nykera nodded.

"I'm tryna get my shit together now." She said softly.

And she was, she was trying to get her grades together because she actually really wanted to graduate and go to her dream college.

"Language." The teacher eyed her.

"My fault."

"Alright class, as I was saying.."

Nykera let out a heavy breath that she had been holding as she closed her room door.

She had just came from a boy she met on Instagram house. And yes, they did the do.

Nykera was very much a hoe. She wasn't proud of it but at the same time she wasn't ashamed of it. She just wanted pleasure.

Thankfully her mom and stepdad weren't home so she didn't have to worry about them asking about her whereabouts.

She was about to go in her bathroom to take a shower until her phone's ringtone went off. She huffed walking back to her bed and grabbing it.

"Hello?" She answered already annoyed with Janiah.

"Girl whea the fuck you at?!" Janiah yelled, there was yelling in the back that could be heard.

"Home.. where you at?"

"We at the park. We finna fight these hoes pull up right quick!" Janiah said.

"Y'all finna fight right now?" Nykera started putting her shoes back on.

"Right nowwwwww. Hurry up." Janiah said then hung up.

Nykera tied her hair up before wrapping it then put a hoodie on.

She was mad at her friends at the moment but she was the type to always ride for her people no matter what, if it's up with her friends then it's up with her too. That's just how she always been.

After doing what she had to do she hurried out the house and headed to the park everyone would go to so they could fight, which was a 10 minute walk from her house.

Finally, she reached the park but she didn't spot her group, only Rave and her friends.

"Where Janiah and em at?" Nykera walked up to them.

Rave laughed.

"Girl they ass left! We already fought, we want rounds witchu now though.." One of the minions stepped forward.

"Want rounds wit me for what if y'all already fought?" Nykera laughed waving them off. "I'm gone.."

As she was walking away, she didn't notice 2 girls plus Rave running up behind her.

"Bitch don't eva!" Rave said hitting first, the rest of her girls jumped in and started kicking Nykera as she was on the ground balled up.

Rave was on top of her trying to get good hits but they weren't hurting Nykera, only thing that was causing her pain was the hard kicks Rave's friends were sending to her body.

Nykera stayed balled up until the girls were done doing there do, she didn't even want to fight back. She didn't have the strength to.

After the girls were done, they all stood up, cleaned theirselves up a little, before Rave leaned in and spit in Nykera's face.

Nykera waited a while just laying there before slowly getting up while wiping her face.

She looked around the empty park as she headed back home, silently crying. She heard snickering and when she looked she thought she saw her friends but she hoped her eyes were just playing with her.

She quickly looked away and started walking faster because it was getting dark.

"Hey li mama lemme whisper in ya ear, sum that you might like to hear.." A crackhead nearby said smirking at her.

She cringed ignoring him as she pulled her phone out checking the time.

7:32 pm

Thankfully her parents wouldn't be home until 9 so she didn't have to worry.

Eventually, she got home quicker which was a relief to her. After taking a shower and getting comfortable in bed she called Janiah.

"HELLO?" Janiah answered loudly, as usual.

"Hey.. where you at?" Nykera asked.

"We at Tyrone house!"

"Why y'all ova there?"

"It's a kickback!" Janiah said in a duh tone.

"On a Tuesday?" Nykera furrowed her eyebrows.

"Bitch you was fucking and sucking dick on a Tuesday, not too much luv.."

"Oh.. why ain't nobody tell me?"

"We thought you already knew since you and Tyrone a lil thing.." Janiah said with a sly smirk as she looked at someone else. There was loud laughter that could be heard in the background.

"Oh.. well why you tell me to go to the park if y'all wasn't even there?" Nykera asked.

"Girl we already had fought, you took too long." Janiah shrugged.

"You could've told me! Y'all had me up in that park looking dumb, they even jumped me!" Nykera explained.

"Aw.." Was all Janiah said. "Well girl I'm finna get the shit fucked outta me. I'll call you later boo!"

Nykera hung up without saying another word.

She felt like her friends were snaking her or being disloyal behind her back but she didn't know what to think..
