EMERY LOOKED AWAY from the dead body of her aunt, biting her lips so hard to not let any sound escape her that she was drawing blood.

"Fuck, fuck, fuck—" she muttered under her breath, pacing around in the circle of fire, barely caring that if she gets too close, she'll burn.

Her eyes fell on Stefan and her steps haltered. He seemed to have regained consciousness and was now looking at Elena who was sobbing rather loudly with her hand clasped over her mouth and tears streaming down her face.

Emery couldn't bring herself to look at Jenna's body, knowing it would only worsen her state of mind. Stefan groaned as he tried to remove the piece of wood buried in his pack but he couldn't reach it.

"I'm so sorry," Stefan whispered, looking at Elena then at Emery. Elena placed a finger over her lips, shushing him before whispering back, "are they gonna kill him?"

"Yes," Stefan whispered back while Elena looked over at Emery who was now sitting on the ground, her knees pulled up against her chest as she stared blankly at the flames.

"Em," Elena whispered, trying to catch the attention of the witch. Emery's eyes flickered to her and she shot her a questioning look. Elena then took a deep shaky breath, "take care of yourself... and Jeremy. Please."

Emery chose to say nothing which made Elena sigh, her eyes darting to Klaus who was standing beside Greta who was chanting a spell as he watched her pour blood into some bowl. Then he began approaching Elena, "it's time."

The ring of fire around her disappeared as Klaus extended a hand for her to take. However, she ignored it and stood up on her own before walking towards where Jenna's dead body was lying.

Klaus joined her and pushed her hair away, revealing her neck to him. "Thank you, Elena," he muttered earning a clench of jaw from her as she glared at him, "go to hell."

He only smiled in response before biting down on her neck.

Stefan groaned on the ground, "no," he mumbled, staring at Elena who was staring into nothing as he emptied her of her blood. He glanced at Emery who was also staring at her sister, taking her last breaths. After a few seconds, Klaus let go of Elena who dropped on the ground, dead.

She swallowed harshly and lifted her eyes to look at Klaus who was now breathing heavily, the fire in Greta's bowl having died down. Klaus glanced up at the sky and then began walking away from Elena, "I can feel it. It's happening."

Then Emery heard the sound of bones snapping followed by a small grunt. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw Klaus's bones snapping as he began transforming. His eyes turned yellow and just as another bone snapped, he let out a scream when he was sent flying backwards.

Emery jumped slightly in her place and stood up, her eyes falling on Bonnie who began walking towards them, chating as she stared at Klaus, desperate to kill him.

Greta frowned at Bonnie and was about to do something when Damon vamp-sped behind her and snapped her neck, killing her thus the spell she casted on Emery broke as well and the fire around her disappeared but she stayed glued in her spot.

Her eyes stayed fixed on Bonnie who kept chanting as she got closer and closer to Klaus who was still on the ground. He looked up at Bonnie in shock, "no, you were dead!"

Bonnie only chanted louder as she used her powers to snap Klaus's bones making him cry out in pain while Emery's eyes widened. For some reason, she couldn't see him being tortured despite what he had done. But she couldn't bring herself to intervene either.

Damon had carried Elena and placed her next to Stefan before he removed the piece of wood from his back. Then his eyes fell on Emery who was chewing on her lips as she kept her gaze fixed on Klaus. The older Salvatore was quick to rush to her, placing a hand on her shoulder, turning her to face him. "You okay?"

He frowned upon noticing the blank look in her green eyes and the blood on her lips, "let's get you home, all right?"

She said nothing as her eyes went back towards Bonnie who had now stopped as Elijah joined the scene, walking over to Klaus who was lying on the ground, in pain. She then adverted her eyes, looking at Damon and nodded.

"Let's go then," Damon motioned for her to follow him as he bent down to lift Elena, having been told by Stefan to do so since he didn't want to leave until Klaus was dead. Emery then left with Damon, not wanting to be there to witness Klaus's demise.
