MARCH 20TH

H A I L E Y

Aero never lets me do anything for myself.

I wanted to eat breakfast before we went to the museum, and by that I meant that I was just going to have a bagel. But then Aero started cooking me a full on breakfast and refused to let me help.

He placed the glass of water and full plate in front of me before sitting down beside me. It made me feel better that he also made himself a plate. He asked me, "Would you want to explore the hotel after the museum?"

"Of course!" I said cheerfully. I think I'd be happy to do anything with him.

He smiled before biting into his breakfast. I remember when he used to never smile. Like always, his food tasted amazing. Once my stomach was satisfied I got ready for the day, making sure to dress a little extra nice since we're going to a museum.

Aero was complaining about how he wasn't going to be able to bring his gun inside.

"What would you need a gun for in an art museum?" I asked him while putting on my shoes.

He shrugged, "You never know."

We left, and the weather was slightly warmer than it was yesterday. As April approached, it was getting warmer and warmer. Aero didn't force me to wear a coat again thankfully, my outfit is too cute to be hidden by a coat.

I held our tickets in my hand as we walked up to the building. It was huge and beautiful, making my jaw drop slightly. I gave the worker our tickets before we entered. It was gorgeous, with some of the most beautiful works of art that I'd ever seen in my life.

Aero put his arm around my waist as we walked around, admiring all of the pieces. I smiled while looking around, before turning to Aero to see his reaction. He wasn't looking around, he was just looking at me with a smile. I asked him, "What?"

"Seeing you happy makes me so fucking happy."

I can't believe I used to think he was so cold and mean.

I placed a kiss against his jawline before asking him, "Do you like it?"

He nodded his head and we continued walking. It was such a big building that it felt like the rooms were never ending. We explored room after room, but we stopped in front of a big painting on the wall. We looked up at it and I asked him, "How does this compare to your favourite one in New York?"

"They are both incredible, however, this one might be slightly better," he answered. My lips twitched up hearing that my gift was a success.

I asked him, "Do you still want to eventually own one for yourself?"

"I think so, but that day probably won't come any day soon. Once I'm older, maybe."

I nodded my head and held my hand in his as we continued walking around. I wish that I was super powerful and could buy Aero an art museum, but I can't. But I really hope that he is able to one day. Aero is incredible and deserves to have his dream.

He suddenly asked me, "And what do you want to do after university?"

My ideal life wasn't anything interesting. All I wanted was to be an accountant, and work from home so that I don't have to leave and have small talk with coworkers every day. I never really thought about living outside of New York, since New York was all I knew.

"I just want to be happy. I don't need a huge house or expensive car, all I want is to be happy."

He stopped walking, and so did I. I looked at him with confusion and then he said, "I promise you, I would always try to make you happy."

My heart felt warm at the hint of our future together. We haven't been dating for that long, and talking about your future together isn't typically something you do this early, yet it feels like thats what Aero is doing. He continued, "I know that we haven't been dating for that long, Hailey. But the time we have been has made me the happiest I've ever felt in life. I never imagined spending my life with anybody, until I met you."

I bit my bottom lip while I smiled. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought about spending my life with him, too. He took a step towards me, placing his hands on the sides of my face.

"I love you, Hailey."

My stomach grew warm and my eyes widened in surprise. I wasn't expecting that to be the next thing he was going to say. His ice blue eyes were staring into mine with warmth and he moved one of his hands to run through my hair.

He pressed his lips against mine, and I couldn't help but kiss back. The kiss was sweet and gentle, not rough. He pulled away and I told him, "I love you too."

The biggest smile that I've ever seen him do formed on his face. He kissed me again, pulling me into his chest. When we pulled away I pressed a soft kiss against his cheek as we started to walk around again.

Time felt like it went by so quickly in the museum. We got here at 11am and it was now already 3pm. We took one final look around before leaving, and I felt so happy that I got us tickets for this. I'd love to do it again.

Aero asked me if I wanted to go to a restaurant to eat, but I told him I'd rather eat his food. The plan was to just walk straight back to the hotel, but when I saw a pond with ducks I gasped and ran over to it.

I stared at them from a few steps back, waving and smiling at them as if they could even understand what that meant. I turned around and said to Aero, "We need bread."

"If we feed them they are gonna follow us home," he said.

"No they won't!"

"Where do you expect me to get bread?"

I pointed to a small market down the street and said, "There?"

He rolled his eyes like it annoyed him, yet he said, "Only if you come with me."

I accepted the deal instantly and walked to be beside him as we headed for the market. Aero said we didn't need an entire loaf, but I bought an entire loaf anyways.

We walked back and I started grabbing slices, ripping them into tiny pieces and throwing them. They would all try and go for every piece I threw so I said to Aero, "Look! They were so hungry."

"They were fine."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "They. Were. Hungry."

I handed him a slice and told him to throw it. He shook his head no, refusing. I crossed my arms and told him, "If you don't throw it, I'm going to jump in the pond."

This was enough to make him rip the bread into pieces and throw it at the ducks. I smiled while I watched, grabbing another piece to rip up and throw. There was only one slice left so I handed it to Aero and said, "You throw it."

"My arm is tired."

I did my best attempt at a threatening voice, "Throw it."

He threw it, and I gave him a 'really?' look. He shrugged, "What?"

"You threw the entire slice. You didn't even rip it up."

I turned back around to face the ducks and see if any were even going to attempt to eat it. The slice sat on the grass when suddenly a homeless man quickly ran and snatched up the slice of bread while giggling, "Haha! Fuck them birds, bitch!"

I watched the man eat the slice of bread while running away, laughing.

I turned around to look at Aero with a frown but he just shrugged. I sighed and walked over to him, holding onto his arm as we walked back to our hotel. We went up to our room for a second before starting to explore, and I had a text from Reid.

'You spending the night here on the 22nd?'

I replied, 'Sadly :('

I went to put my phone back in my pocket when it buzzed with another text from him.

'Bitch.'

I laughed and actually put my phone back in my pocket this time. Aero and I went from room to room, starting with a gym to a tennis court. Neither are really my style, so we kept going to different rooms. My face lit up when I saw a sign with an arrow pointing to a pool room.

I dragged Aero to follow me, remembering the day we swam together. The pool room was empty, every movement being echoed off of the walls. There was a pool in an L shape, and a hot tub was beside it.

Just like the last time I swam with Aero, I didn't have a bathing suit on. I pulled my clothes off to be in my bra and underwear before jumping into the pool. I stared at Aero, waiting for him to join me.

He pulled his clothes off and walked in, despite me telling him to do a cannon ball or a front flip. I swam over to him and told him, "This is way more fun than ice skating."

He lowered his body to be under the water. A grin formed on my face as I splashed him, getting his face and hair wet. I quickly tried to swim away from him while giggling but he grabbed me and pulled me back to him, trapping me between his body and the ledge of the pool. I laughed realizing I was stuck.

"Okay, you can splash me," I told him, closing my eyes and preparing.

After a few moments of water never hitting me I opened one eye slowly, seeing him just looking at me with a smile. He shook his head, "I'm not going to splash you."

"Why not? You scared?"

He laughed slightly, but then, his face became more serious.

"No, I'm not scared," he whispers, his blue eyes darting around my face. "I'd just never do anything that could hurt you."

"It's just water, I'm sure I'll be fine," I smiled at him, wondering what he was talking about. It's only water.

He leaned forward, his lips brushing mine as he said, "Not the point."

I took a deep breath, my heartbeat increasing from him being so close to me. He seemed to notice this, a smirk forming on his face. He asked me, "What do you want to do now?"

I cleared my throat and looked away from his gaze, my eyes landing on the hot tub, "Go in the hot tub."

I turned around and hauled myself out of the pool, walking over to the circular hot tub. I got in and turned on the jets while Aero walked over, my eyes scanning his body up and down. He got in and sat across from me, the room being completely silent besides the sounds of the jets.

He asked me, "Did you have fun today?"

"Of course!" I answered quickly, smiling as I did so. This weekend with Aero has been perfect so far, being everything I could ask for. He makes me so happy, I could never imagine him doing anything to upset me or hurt me.

His wet hair fell slightly onto his forehead, droplets of water covering his chest. I swam towards him, straddling his waist in the water. His hands went to my lower back and mine went around his neck.

I leaned forward, connecting our lips. He kissed me back, his tongue entering my mouth. The jets were all I could hear as I kissed him as if we were the only two people in the world. His lips moved to my jawline, then to my neck. I let out a soft sigh and he removed his lips from my neck, looking up at me. I stared into his blue eyes and ran a hand through his black hair.

He told me, "I want to fuck you. Right here, right now."
