"Who dares AWAKEN ME!!??" The zombie screeches and literally hops out of his coffin.

I dreaded ever coming into this damn tomb at that moment.

"Valllll!!!" Abby demands in horror, and then we all jump in shock at the clanging coming from all around us.

Everywhere we looked, zombie soldiers were approaching us with medieval weapons. "VAL!!" Abby shrieks and I glare at her.

"I'm NOT blind!!! I see the damn zombies Abby!!!" I snap, and my wand is raised in defiance.

"Kill them all." The zombie boss sits on his coffin overlooking his men like he was king. We were highly outnumbered.

"Any plans, guys!?" Avery almost squeaks.

"I can't apparate out of the tomb directly. There's an apparation block on the room." I say through gritted teeth.

"Then, we kill them." Nagini declares and bends backwards, transforming into her snake form.

"I agree." I point at the snake in agreement.

"They are ALREADY DEAD!!!" Abby demands in anger, raising her wand. "Reducto!" She casts the spell at a group of zombies, getting too close. They explode into mountains of bones, only to come out of the walls reborn again seconds later.

"You will all dieeeeee." The man cackles.

"That guy is seriously pissing me off." Avery snarls, and we all step up, Nagini taking our backs. "I call killing him off." He demands, and I scoff.

"Got to fight me for him. I want to tear every one of his bones into a thousand shredded pieces." I state.

"Confringo!" I cast the spell. The group of the undead erupt in flames, the explosion deafening in our ears.

"DON'T BLOW US UP TOO!" Avery screams at me.

"Repello Inimicum." I twirl, sending the protective charm around Abby, Avery and Nagini's form. Anyone who got too close to them instantly disintegrates as they entered the charm.

"That's a highly useful spell." I hear Nagini hiss at me, as she chokes one of the zombies until the bones splatter around her in a pile.

"Incendio." I hear Abby shriek, and I send the same spell at the walls where the damn zombies kept being reborn.

I dodge a freaking axe being thrown at my face, hitting the floor with a shriek. "Stupefy." I send spell after spell, stumbling to my feet.

I hear Abby scream and whirl around to see her with an arrow in her arm. "Abby!!" Avery shouts and barely dodges an axe being thrown at him. Nagini was being held in place with a couple shields and my eyes go black in my rage.

I scream, whipping out my hands and sending out waves and waves of dark magic. Every undead is pushed away heavily trapped to the walls of the tomb.

"Relasho!" I shout, sending the spell at Nagini's captors, and in seconds she's freed. Avery grabs Abby from her place on the floor.

My eyes lock on the undead leader, who looked surprised.

My eyes go to the locket around his neck, and my eyes narrow on it in realization. That was a Horcrux. The only reason he could even speak to us was because of that object around his neck. A part of him was still alive. I hear the Horcrux screeching at me, and Abaddon comes forward.

"Diffindo." I point my wand at the cocky thing, and it's shredded into pieces being torn apart millions and millions of times.

"Holy shite, Dumbledore!! I wanted to kill it!!!" Avery shouts in rage, and I walk up, grabbing the locket from the pile of bone shreddings, but as I was about to pull it away, something stops me.

I look down, and my lips curl up into a sneer. The author of the book was staring at me with his lifeless eyes once again. He'd been reformed.

"Incendio!" Avery shouts, and I barely manage to throw myself back before the zombie burst in flames.

With the locket in my hand, I stumble back in horror as a very terrifying, very on fire zombie stomps towards me with every intention of getting the portion of his soul back.

"We need to get Abby out of here!! Val!! She's losing too much blood!!" Avery demands in fear.

Nagini slithers over to my friend and transforms back into her human form. "She's dying, Val!!" Nagini screams at me.

"Destroy it, Valentine," Abaddon yells, and I grip the locket harder, infusing it with all my magic. I pushed the magic into it faster and faster until my arm was being encircled with wisps of black.

"NOOOOOOOO!!! GIVE ME THAT!!" The man on fire shrieks hurrying to try and stop me from destroying the artifact.

"Fiendfyre." Avery steps up, tears and blood on his face, and a burst of fire erupts from his wand.

"Shit." The leader curses and then a three-foot sword appears out of nowhere, and it's pointing at my neck. "Hand it over, girl."

The blade touches my neck and drips blood as he presses it into my throat.

Avery had summoned no ordinary fire. The fire was erupting like mini volcanoes going after the undead trapped in my spell. That damn compass was never wrong.

The fire was taking forms of animals, showing us how very much alive these flames were.

"VALENTINE!! I CAN'T CONTROL IT!!" Avery shrieks as the fire starts to approach them.

"OF course, you CAN'T YOU IDIOT!!" I scream at him.

"Aguamenti!" I hear him try, but the water he conjured was no use as it evaporated upon contact with the flames.

I wince as a Fiendfyre serpent appears behind the undead man. This fire was intent on killing everyone alive in its path.

"Hand it, OVER!!" He screams in my face, and I wince as the blade presses deeper and deeper into my throat.

"Fuck, no." I laugh through my pain and with the dark magic infusing the locket in my hand, I stick my hand in the Fiendfyre serpent slithering past me and towards my friends.

The flames roar and the serpent lets out a contorted scream as the Horcrux starts to screech. The zombie lets out a cry of pain before disintegrating before my eyes. Metal on metal has me screaming in agony as third-degree burns cover the betterment of my arm. I rip my hand out of the inferno of highly advanced dark magic. In seconds I realize that with the Horcrux destroyed, every incantation that had been cast on this place was now decapitated, including the anti apparation charm.

That's when I'm apparating a couple meters to where Avery was trying to dispatch of the fire to no avail. Abby was unconscious on the floor.

"AVERY!!" I scream, and I grab Abby and Nagini's arms.

Nagini was enraged. She was glaring daggers at Avery, and I was so hell-bent on killing him if we got out of here in one piece.

Avery lunges at me, and I apparate once he'd grabbed my shoulders in desperation.

We fall in unison in Hogwarts courtyard, and I whirl around checking to make sure that everyone was still with us.

"Nagini!!" I shriek, realizing she was missing. I meet Avery's horrified eyes for a second before he shakes his head.

"Dumbledore don't do-"

I apparate again.

I land right in the middle of the flames.

I scream in agony as the flames lick at my swollen, red skin. Engulfing myself in dark magic, I push the fire away from my body, and I stand in the center of the fire-filled room, my ears deaf with the roaring of the heat.

"NAGINI!!" I scream.

"Here!!! HERE!!" I hear her snake form hiss, and I apparate again, finding her curled up as tightly as she could in a corner.

I grab her, looking around in horror.

"I can't leave. I'm bound to this place." She cries in fear, and I curse.

I stand in front of her, and my magic explodes from my palms, sending the blasts straight at the Fiendfyre, which was trying to attack us.

"LEAVE!!" Nagini hisses, and I shake my head. "I'm not leaving you!" I snarl, through the effort of trying to keep us alive.

A serpent of flames was attacking us. It was alive, sentient and highly intent on killing us. Its fangs hiss out flames that burn the sides of my face. Tears scorch my cheeks as they fall on my burns, and my hair catches aflame, as it whips around in the heat.

The flame had no culture, no pity, no mind, and it consumed whatever it pleased. The sparks burn hot, short and violent, with no care what will be left behind.

"Abaddon!!" I shriek, and I hear him freaking the hell out in my mind.

"Val stop fighting it. Trust me. Let it attack. Grab Nagini." He orders me. "This is going to hurt." He warns.

I let go and lunge at my snake friend, grabbing her in a protective hug.

The Fiendfyre hits us in seconds, and I cry out in anguish as my vision is filled with red and a roaring, billowing noise booms in my ears.

"Control the flames don't fight them." I hear Abaddon hiss in my mind right before the pain hits and my mind screamed out as the pain drove through my whole soul. Every thought I just had became confused as the burning pain swept around my body with scorching heat scalding every inch of my skin. I wept, sobbed and screeched in burning misery. My screams grow louder and louder until I let out one last cry and every pore of magic, I had literally blows up.

Currents and currents of black explode from my body like waves hitting a seashore.

I keep screaming.

Nagini had turned back into a human and was alit on fire in my arms.

I was on fire too.

The Fiendfyre mixes with my magic.

An unstable curse merges with even more destructible magic.

The tomb literally erupts.

Enormous explosions go off left and right. My hair whips around, and I clutch Nagini closer to me, watching as the fists of orange flame decided to punch its way out of the room. Windows shattered. Gold and jewels melt and screams of the undead mix with my own screams. I could hear the Horcrux still wailing in its agony at being slowly killed. Smoke and fire rushed out, choking me, but even the smoke was burning too.

The fire rushes around us like a river of deadly reds, oranges and yellows, sliding around us and burning us to crisps.

Snakes and birds made of the Fiendfyre fall to the knives of my magic and then Abaddon is apparating us away.

We land in the middle of the Great Hall.

I scream louder. My vocal cords were straining.

The fire was still burning Nagini and me alive.

The Fiendfyre had followed us to Hogwarts.

It starts to spread, but my magic whips it back to place.

"VALENTINE!!" I hear a voice boom, and then my magic is pushing them back. "Let me through!!" I hear the same voice demand....an order.

Tom.

"Dumbledore!! LET THE DAMN THING GO!!" Avery shouts, trying to push through the professors that had run over.

The Fiendfyre surrounding Nagini whips over to join the flames on my body before they leak into the floor and cause the whole tiling system to explode.

My magic and the fire starts to whip around like a hurricane, surrounding Nagini and I. The conjoined dark magic flares up before bursting in every which direction. Every ounce of that magic then starts to enter Nagini herself.

"NO!" I scream, but her body is raised with all the excess power inside her. My magic wraps around her in an uncontrollable twist and then it inserts itself into her mouth. The thing is growing and growing, while I'm just sitting there gaping at it in horrified silence.

Professor Merrythought rushes over and grabs me in her arms, shoving me backwards towards the students staring at the scene in fright.

I stumble into Slughorn's arms and slump over onto the floor. The professor catches me, lowering me gently.

A cord of red is removed from Nagini's mouth, and then the magic disintegrates it before it heads in our direction.

In my direction.

Students start to scream in fear, rushing away.

The professors release shields from their wands, but I knew that magic. It was mine.

I cry out in pain, tears blurring my vision as I use my scorched hands to stand and stalk over in front of the professors. The magic slams into me and I hit the floor convulsing.

Nagini was throwing up blood, and then I whirl around and do the same.

Everything goes black, and in seconds I welcome the darkness like an old friend.
