"Stop! Give me back my phone, Harry!" I yelp as Harry holds my phone up, raising it every time I try to grab it.

"Well, well. Aren't you two cute," Emma smirks. Harry and I jump slightly at the sudden sight of her. Emma has appeared home with her tote bags filled with shopping in her arms, her girlfriend, Georgia, standing behind her, sipping a latte.

"Oh, shove off, Emma!" I grin, hiding my face in my jumper to hide the blush that has appeared on my cheeks.

"Why are you wearing a jumper, Y/N?" Emma asks as she drops the bags I didn't even realise she was still carrying while Georgia sits herself down on a chair, patting her lap for Emma to sit.

"It's August, should I not be wearing one?" I reply as Emma takes up her girlfriend's offer and joins her on the chair. I turn to face Harry for help.

"Nah, nah, you're good. It is getting chilly outside," Harry smiles before tugging the blanket away from me. I squeal before desperately grabbing it back.

I notice Emma and Georgia just exchange a look before getting up and moving to the kitchen to start preparing dinner. Harry and I just look at each other before laughing in sync.

"C'mon," I demand before grabbing Harry's hand and leading him into my bedroom, sitting myself down on the bed as he looks around. He quietly chuckles to himself as his eyes search my shelves. His finger gently glides along all of the objects that clutter them.

"I thought you didn't like high school," He asks, moving to join my on my bed as he lies on his side, resting his head on his hand.

"I didn't," I reply, sitting up.

"Then why do you have pictures from it on display?" He questions, causing my head to turn to view them.

"I don't know, I just thought they looked cute I guess," I awkwardly smile. He doesn't say anything for a while.

"Hmm, you're cute," He says, breaking the silence and trying to act smooth but looking like he regrets saying it the minute it leaves his mouth.

"Wow, very cringe..." I reply, the two of us giggling at how embarrassing the moment felt before I grab a pillow and whack him in the face, "...but thank you."

Now lying on his back, he removes the pillow from his face and glances over towards me. It's now that I realise how confident I feel. Harry makes me feel something others don't, or should I say, can't. I feel different. New, confident, free, hopeful, strong. Everything I want to be, but am not, and cannot be without him.

Before having a second thought, I lower my head and his lips meet mine. It feels right. I hesitantly pull away and look him in the eye, expecting to feel embarrassed, but the feeling's nowhere to be found. Harry's hand lifts to the back of my head, gently pushing it down to kiss me again. His other arm reaches over to move my body on top of him. Before I realise it, we're full on making out. His hands explore my body as he holds me close. It's warm and comforting. It feels like home.

"Dinner's ready!" Emma yells from the kitchen, causing us to jump at the sudden noise. Harry and I smile into the kiss before I pull away, only inches away from his face. He kisses my nose as I scrunch up my face.

"Let's go then," I say before racing out of the room, Harry following just behind me.
