It was late in the evening when Tengen, along with Suma, Hinatsuru, and Makio arrived at Ikebana Threads.

They were all greeted by Ichiki Fukuda─the coworker of Tengen's tailor, Inomi Ashishido.

"Hello Tenny-honey! I see you brought your wives with you this time♡." The feminine man says, happy to finally see the three kunoichi accompanying him.

"Hey there Ichiki! Yeah, and since we were all free, figured we stopped by a tad." Tengen explains.

"Well, I'm glad you did. It's good to you Suma-chan, Makio, and Hina!" Ichiki greeted the three.

"Hi Ichi-kun, it's good to see you, too♡!" Suma replied.

"Hey Ichiki," Makio waves.

"Glad you're doing well, Ichiki-san!" Hinatsuru greeted with a warm smile.

"Well, don't just stand there like vagabonds, all four of you come in!" Ichiki gestures the four inside.

"If you're looking for Inomi-chan, she's in her sewing room."

Tengen nods and thanks him, before heading towards said room where Inomi was in with Suma, Hinatsuru, and Makio trailing closely behind him.

Inside the sewing room, the light-blonde haired girl was trying to finish a wedding kimono for a client.

She stopped when she heard the shining slide open and glanced to Tengen and his wives enter.

"Yo Inomi, how's it going?" Tengen greeted with his signature smile.

Before Inomi could answer him; she squealed in delight upon seeing the three women beside him and ran over to give them a warm hug.

"Suma, Hina, Makio! Oh, it's so good to see you all!" She says happily as the three returned said hug.

"You three look great! Hope Tengen's been treating ya right?" She smiles, after pulling away.

"Same to you, Inomi-chan..and yes, Ten has been treating us right, like always." Suma says.

Inomi nods, "good to hear. But if he ever gets out of line, let me know? I have a wara ningyō with his name on it," she smiles devilishly.

"Wait, what?!" Tengen says shocked.

Hinatsuru laughs nervously, "t-that won't be necessary, Inomi-san."

"Actually, I wouldn't mind you putting a curse on him." Makio says nonchalantly.

"Makio, you're evil!" Tengen fake cries.

Inomi roll her eyes at his childishness, before opting to ask him, "so... I take it your date with your Cinderella went well?"

At that, Tengen simply grins, before reaching into his pocket and tossed a small bag to her, which she'd caught easily.

Inomi glanced at it to see that it was filled with yen(¥). Obviously, her payment for making his yukata.

"Yeah, it did and aside from a few hiccups, she'd agreed to let me court her!" Tengen explains.

"S-seriously?" The young tailor was astonished to hear that as she then turned her attention back to Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru.

"And I suppose you three are alright with this?"

"Yeah!" Suma nods, happily.

"I have to admit, I was a bit peeved at first, but at least he told us beforehand and asked us for permission." Makio sighs in defeat.

"We didn't have a problem or anything; we were just a bit worried about Tengen going to a brothel. But seeing how he's infatuated with (Name), we've agreed to let him court her." Hinatsuru says.

"Yup, and I really want to see the cutie who stole my Tengen's heart? In fact, we're all really looking forward to meeting her, whenever Ten brings her home♡" Suma added.

Inomi cringed at this; apparently, none of them had any objections of Tengen seeing another woman.

"Honestly, I would never understand these polyamorous relationships." She groans, whilst facepalming.

Inomi couldn't help but feel bad for poor (Name). She'd doubt that the poor girl had been pretty much blindsided by it with little to no warning.

"Aww, do not fret Inomi-chan," Tengen coos, wrapping his muscular arms around her short frame and rested his chin on top of her head.

"Y'know, I wouldn't mind you becoming my fifth wife?" He teases only to get harshly elbowed in the stomach by the short light-blonde haired girl as the Sound Hashira releases her and doubled over in discomfort─whilst chuckling.

"In your dreams, Romeo." Inomi scoffs.

"Me and Romeo never get along, anyways. I'm more of a Casanova." He says jokingly.

Inomi rolls her eyes for third time, "whatever. Besides, you're not exactly my type. I like stoic men." she says, before glancing at Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru.

"Seriously?! How do you three even put up with this clown?!" She gestures towards Tengen.

"Trust me Inomi, you don't even want to know." Said Makio as she crossed her arms.

"You could say, we're use to it." Hinatsuru added.

Once everyone had settled down, Inomi decided to ask, "So, you actually told (Name) that you're a married man with three wives?"

"Yup, I wasn't going to hide anything from her. That's not my style." Tengen says.

"Please, someone who looks and dresses as loud as you do couldn't hide much." Inomi quips. "I'm actually surprise (Name) didn't walk out on you. The girl must really, really love you in order to have you court her and not be bothered that you already have three wives?"

Tengen grinned at Inomi's sass.

"Could you blame her? I can't help I was born flamboyantly beautiful; that's just how the Gods made me!" He says, flashing her a glamorous grin.

"Where did I put that straw doll?"

"I'm only kidding, Inomi!" He quickly exclaims, not wanting her to go get the creepy straw doll and put a curse on him.

"Another quip like that or else I'm performing Ushi no koku mairi," Inomi glared, causing Tengen to gulp.

"Fine, fine! I'll quit." The Sound Pillar pouted like a child.

"Anyways, what brings you by?" The young tailor asks him.

At that, Tengen glances at Suma, Makio, and Hinatsuru and waves his hand. The three quickly understood and simultaneously left the room to give Tengen and Inomi some privacy.

Once the three were outta ear shot, Tengen glanced back at Inomi.

"The reason I came because I wanted to discuss with you about the Guren." He started.

"If I remember from our previous conversation, that's the brothel your girlfriend works at, correct?" Inomi asked.

Tengen nods.

"What about it?"

"Well, I finally met Lady Yamamoto."

"Really?! Well, are the rumors true?"

"Yeah, pretty much," Tengen says, "and I've gotta say─she's a real piece of work. But this isn't about her," he quickly adds.

"Well, what is it then?" Inomi pressed.

"Have you heard of something called "Ashinuke"?" Tengen asked her.

"I-I have, it's an act where courtesans runway with customers without paying their debts." She explains, but her eyes quickly widen as realization hits her.

"Wait! Tengen! Don't tell me you're thinking about asking (Name) to commit ashinuke and running off with you?"

"I've been thinking about it, after recently hearing about it in Yoshiwara. But it never occurred to me, until now." Tengen's eyes narrowed as he glanced stoically at the floor.

"My first thought was paying off (Name)'s contract, however she didn't want me too. I figured it was likely because of her boss."

"Well, it's a good thing she did stop you! She probably didn't want you spending all your wealth like that to no avail!" Inomi explains.

"What?" Tengen gazes at her in confusion.

"Remember what Ichiki and I told you about Lady Chiyo Yamamoto? That woman is no joke! She is basically the living embodiment of "greed" and will do anything to make sure you spend all your money and go broke." Inomi says.

"Fuck, if it takes losing all my wealth to a hungry, hungry hippo to be with (Name)-chan, then so be it!" Tengen groans.

"Every man deserves a good woman and (Name) is too much of a good woman to belong in place like that!" His gaze then turned serious.

"I want (Name) to be my wife. She deserves a better life and I want to be the one to give it to her."

Notes: Ushi no koku mairi - is a method of laying a curse upon a someone during the hours of the Ox (which is around 2 a.m.)

Wara Ningyo - is a Japanese straw doll similar to a voodoo doll. They were often used to ward off evil spirits.

Ashinuke - in the Demon Slayer Universe, this is a name given when a courtesan would run away with a customer without paying their debts. If both are caught, the customer is charged with kidnapping and the courtesan is brought back to the brothel.
