Tengen released a tired yawn; today had gone by slowly with nothing to do.

There was nothing interesting happening tonight, which he felt a bit relieved, but at the same time disappointed due to lack of action.

No demons and no entertainment.

Simply boring.

...Soooo boring! Tengen groaned whilst resting elbow onto his knee and chin into his palm.

Soon, his mind briefly thought about (Name) and wondered how her day was going? He hoped she was enjoying his little gift and could only hope that the Ninju weren't causing her too much trouble.

He didn't even reconsider the thought of (Name) being afraid of mice, until Makio had brought it up and Tengen had scolded himself for being both clueless and careless. He only prayed everything's fine and that (Name) and the buff mice were getting along, and that nothing bad has happened.

As he was pondering whether he should just go home or go somewhere else, Tengen heard the sound of footsteps approach from behind him.

"There you are, Uzui-san!" Said an all too familiar boisterous voice as the figure stood beside Tengen's crouched form.

"Hey Rengoku," Tengen greeted with a smile just as the aforementioned Flame Pillar sat beside him.

"What brings you here? Thought you were still training with your precious snow flower?" He asked him.

'Snow Flower' is the nickname Rengoku called his lady friend who's also his fiancee. She is known the Yuki-onna because of her mysterious ability to manipulate ice and snow, which why Rengoku calls her snow flower?

It was no surprise that a great and caring guy like Rengoku could find someone to love, and Tengen couldn't help but admired that.

At that, Rengoku laughed; it was a laugh Tengen couldn't help but envy. Wish he could be that enthusiastic and positive? Nonetheless, he smiles at his flame-haired friend.

"She wanted to train by herself for awhile," Rengoku explains. "And who am I to say no?"

"Is that so? Well, it surely won't be long now, until she's ready for Final Selection and becomes an official demon slayer." Tengen says.

"Yeah, and I'm proud of her and how far she's come!" The flame pillar beams a happy grin.

Tengen glances at him, seeing how completely and hopelessly in love his friend is and he couldn't help but feel happy for him.

"So anyways, what brings you by?" The Sound Pillar asks.

Rengoku pauses for a second; Tengen immediately taking note of how red his cheeks were becoming.

"Uh.. I have a favor to ask you?" Rengoku says, now glancing at Tengen.

"Sure, what could you possibly need from yours truly?"

Tengen pondered about what Rengoku would ask? Whatever it is, it was bound to be something more entertaining than this boring midnight stake-out.

"You're married, right?" Rengoku suddenly asked, catching the Sound Pillar off guard.

"Huh?!" Tengen glances at him, dumbfounded, "what kind of dumb question is that!?" He asked.

"We've known each other for years now, you know I'm married, Rengoku! Also, you've met Suma, Hinatsuru, and Makio before!" Tengen tells him.

Halfheartedly, Rengoku laughed, "right, right, my mistake. You'll have to forgive me."

"What's this about?" Tengen asks.

"Well, I was hoping you could lend me some love advice?" The flame-haired male finally confessed.

Say what?

Rengoku Kyōjurō, the mighty and admiral Flame Hashira is asking him for love advice?

Well, today just got much more interesting, Tengen thinks.

"Me? Why not Kanroji-chan?" Tengen asks, "I mean─she is the Love Hashira after all!"

"True, but I figured I could ask you, since you're the most...experienced, out of all of us!" Rengoku admits.

Tengen softly blushed at that; his eyes widened and he barely resisted the urge to laugh as he felt a great sense of pride swell within his chest.

T'was true he was "experienced" and has three beautiful wives, but never did Tengen expected someone as brave and boastful as Rengoku to come and ask him for such guidance.

Nevertheless, it stroke his ego senselessly.

"Ah~ so, this is about your Snow Flower, correct?" Tengen asked with smirk.

Now, it was Rengoku's turn to blush, "yes, it is." He admits, "you see, I've known her for a year now and now we're engaged. But in prior of proposing to her, I just realized that I haven't actually taken her out on a proper date!" Rengoku explains.

"I want to make it romantic and maybe even.. spice it up a little, before proposing to her properly. And you seemed like the best person to ask!"

Spice it up a little, huh?

Tengen was speechless.

"So, will you help me, Uzui-San?" Rengoku asked him.

Momentarily, the Sound Pillar couldn't help but grin happily, "of course, my flammable friend! No worries, you came to just the right Hashira to ask!" Tengen says.

"They don't called me "The Amazing Love Guru" for nothing!" He says proudly.

"But, no one ever calls you that." Rengoku tilts his head in confusion.

"Hey, you want my help or not?"

Rengoku released a sigh, "yes.. and thank you, my flamboyant friend! I knew I could count on you."

His answer pleased Tengen greatly as the Sound Pillar started to think of something.

So, Rengoku wants to spice up his date with his soon wife-to-be, eh? What could he possibly do to make her heart truly melt?

Normally, Tengen would hands down tell Rengoku that he should just be himself. But, this was Rengoku we're talking about and he is a good man!

Whenever little Miss Yuki-onna was around, Rengoku practically swoon over her. He couldn't deny, and Tengen could see that it always gotten the Flame Hashira hot and bothered on several occasions whenever he glanced her way.

Though, Rengoku goal was not to get his lover to drop to her arms and knees, but rather take her on nice date. Yet, Rengoku did say he wanted to make the date romantic and spice it up a little?

Kissing is fine and hugs are nice, but Tengen felt that Rengoku can do something even better...if not seductive.

"I've got it, you should try dirty talk!" Tengen suddenly boasted, after much pondering.

"Hm? Dirty Talk?" Rengoku tilts his head innocently in question.

Tengen grinned, "Yeah, it'll definitely get her absolute attention! All you have to do is leaned in closer to her and whisper all the dirty and romantic things you would do to her. That'll surely have her melting into your arms completely, that she won't even complain!"

Rengoku pondered this for a moment, "I don't know, Uzui-san. Are you sure it'll work...it doesn't sound very romantic.." He tells him.

"How about I kiss her on the cheek and then pull out the ring?"

"Borrrrring!.. C'mon man, be seductive! Be a tease! Be flamboyant!" Tengen sighs, running his hand through his silver locks, before shooting his flame haired friend a glare.

"Look. You love her, don't you?" He asked.

"Yes!" Rengoku's eyes practically sparkled.

"You wanna hold her, yea?"

"Yes!"

"Touch her?!"

"Yes!"

"Be with her?!"

"YES! YES, I DO!" Rengoku exclaims, excitedly.

"Then, put some tenderness into it, Flame Hashira!" Tengen exclaims, striking a flashy pose.

Rengoku nods, "tenderness, right! Thanks for the help, my flashy friend."

All the while, Tengen was also making a mental note of taking his own advice and using it on his (Name)-chan, once he returns to Yoshiwara.

"Hey, and if you like, I could teach you a few lessons that'll really make her putty in your hands." The Sound Pillar added.
