Y/n's POV

It had been hours ever since Sawamura called and my butt was hurting from sitting in one spot because I was too busy still researching for the sino-japan war origin and the incident itself all together, really following my motto in doing everything and being nice to Tetsuro as repayment.

I think it's understandable if you ask me, so as I finally write down the final sentence of the sino-japan war incident I sighed back a breath before stretching my body from side to side and then proceeded to look back at what I just wrote, my laptop was almost dead so I shut if down immediately and closed it.

Just in time for the front door to open too, "We're home!"

My parents yelled from downstairs, no matter what I do I should never ever let them know that Sawamura called me, who knows what their reactions would be, I'll be terrified to even know about it.

I sat up from my seat, almost letting out another sigh as my feet were finally stretched to walk, so I walked downstairs only to be met by my father and mother talking to each other near the front door with their shoes still on and bags.

"Dad?" I called out which cut's my mother's sentence off and they both look at me.

"Thank you." My dad says at my mother before giving her a peck on the forehead.

"Y/n please join your father in the kitchen." My mother says before leaving the scenery.

I believe that they had an heart to heart talk together, but why would my father say 'thank you' other than 'I love you'? That let along confused me very well, so I walked over to my father who was busy putting his shoes on the side along with his coat.

"Why say 'Thank you' father?" I ask him.

My father stops his movement and fully faces me, " To some people they say 'I love you' but it means more when you say 'Thank you' to Japanese people."

I feel my brain working at the new and sudden information I just received, it wasn't my first time seeing my mother and father being all lovey dovey and it does makes me happy to see them like this, even though my mom has very strict aura and structure a man like my dad still managed to get her heart melting.

"Anyway, let's get cooking!"

Next day

"He what?!" Aiko whispers yell at me as she clings into my arm once more as we walked our way inside the school building.

"He called me Aiko." I repeated my words for the many times that I could count, Aiko sighs before massaging her temples with her free hand.

"That jerk had the nerve to do that after what he did to you? What does he even want anyway?" She asks in a very serious voice.

I looked over to my friend seeing her structure becoming more and more tensed as we talked more deeper into the topic.

"He wanted closure... He wanted to leave with us being in good terms." I explained one more time, I then looked ahead of us. My feet stopping in my tracks when I was met by Tetsuro leaning against the school entrance wall while Haruka talks to him.

It looks like both of them were having a good time, who am I to ruin it? So I did what I did best and acted like I was in a deep conversation with Aiko that I didn't notice them, so when I was about to pass them and congratulate myself.

"Y/n, wait up." Tetsuro's voice stopped me from goinf any further.

So I stopped not wanting to be rude since it wasn't my goal at all.

Aiko remains silent beside me, "Yes?"

"I was thinking of doing our project in the café near b—

—I was done with the research Tetsuro, we just need to put these things together and we're done." I said with a bright smile as I looked at him wanting him to be proud of me and think of me as If I was finally someone important to him.

"You what?" He says with a raised eyebrow, "It's called a team project Y/n, I could've helped."

He fights back in defense, I was only taken a back but I can see his point. But if he only knew why I was doing this to him, it's for you to think of me as someone useful Tetsuro.

"It's fine, history is a piece of cake for me. Anyway, I'll see you around Tetsuro." I said with another smile, I can see the confusion written all over his face as me and Aiko walked away leaving him confused with a silent Haruka beside him.

"Is something going on with you two?" Aiko asks in confusion.

I scoffed before looking at her, "Something? What do you mean?"

"You're never smiley like that around someone, except to that Sawaraka guy but he's a pass." She says with a small laugh at the end.

The way she always gets his name wrong is always so funny to me so it didn't fail to receive a snort coming from me.

"It's nothing." I said and was about to change the topic when.

"You have feelings for him don't you?" Aiko says making me stop in my tracks and she also did too.

I looked at her straight in the eye, I can tell that she was forcing the truth out of me. But me myself what was the truth.

"I don't know." I replied, and looked away nervous. Nervous because what if she was right? And I get myself hurt again? Plus Haruka was also here so that must mean something.

"Look, I'm just kidding. Who was that chick beside him by the way?" Aiko changes the topic for me and now we both started to walk again with our arms not inter-winded any more.

"Haruka, she's our classmate... And I feel like she has something for Tetsuro." I announced my feelings towards the girl, Aiko laughs at my theory.

"It's possible, I saw the way she looks at kuroll." She says with a smile and looks at me.

I can see it too, I can see the way Tetsuro's eyes hold so much trust on them to her too.

"Why don't we try and find her out?" I was surprised I was the one who suggested.

Time skip

I was minding my own buisness looking through out my assignments, making sure that I and everything because I can't afford to lose my assignments that I very put much effort into.

But Kami(God) Had other planned things for me I guess, because when I was chilling, liquid had touched my paper works before I can react.

My paper written with assignments now was smudge because the water got the best of the ink. I didn't know what to feel but I knew for sure that I was going to give the person a piece of my mind for being so not careful, so when I turned around ready to punch the living heck out of the person I only managed to freeze.

"I'm so sorry Y/n! I promise I'll write everything back down." Tetsuro apologizes non stop.

You know what, as much as I think about it. My homework getting spilled is actually not that bad, it just means I had yo write every single thing down again in a empty paper but it was to practice my hands right? So I did nothing but smile at Tetsuro.

"It's fine, it's just a pair of homework's." I said making the whole classroom quiet at my reaction. I would be surprised if I was my classmates because I knew for sure this wasn't the reaction I'll do when it's someone else that did this.

Tetsuro also looks at me with suspicion in his eyes, he looks at me as if I was crazy to even let this act of sin go in my grasp.

"Are you okay?" He asks one more time.

"It's just an accident!" I brightly said wanting to assure him that it was fine so I did what I did best and sat down on my seat again and started to write down the things I remembered out of scratch.

Unnoticed to me Tetsuro's worry about my behavior started.
