Y/n's POV

I feel my eyes opening slightly at the feeling of the bus moving, I was met by buildings flashing through the window as we passed them by.

I frowned as I looked around, stopping my eyes at Kuroo who was beside me. Face sleeping soundly, but what surprises me the most is the cut on the corner of his lip, and another cut that was on his cheek bone, it looked so recent and that was what surprised me the most, what has he been doing? Did he have a fight inside the bus? I can't help but to worry as I scanned his face once more.

I was also really confused because he was sleeping in such a manner, arms crossed in front of his chest as his face was straight and had a small frown on it.

"It's rude to stare." Kuroo suddenly says making me flinch just a little, he now opens his eyes and looks at me, his frowned face now turning into a soft one.

I glared at him, "Where did you get these?" I asked before brining my hand up to the cut on his cheek bone, brushing it with the tip of my finger as he hisses slightly, I immediately removed my hands away from him.

"It's nothing, I just tripped." He lies.

"I'm not dumb." I retorted with another glare.

"I'm not going to tell you the truth, Y/n." He says very straight forwards as he looks at me.

I sighed in defeat, leaning my back against my chair. I looked away from the bruised man.

"I tell you everything that's going on in my life and when I—

—Fine, you brat." He jokingly says the nickname with a small chuckle and a smirk at the end.

I slightly flushed at the nickname, not really knowing why I looked over to kuroo who was still looking at me.

"Daichi and I got into a small fight." He says in a low voice but it was enough for me to hear it, crystal clear.

I widens my eyes slightly before facing my upper body to kuroo, my eyes filled with worried. What could have they been fighting about? And what was Daichi even doing here? I want to tell him that I was now better off without him, I don't like it when he drags Kuroo into our own mess.

He has nothing to do with Daichi's mistake.

"Jesus, Where did you fight?" I asked him.

"At the parking lot." He answers, I face palmed myself as I glared at Kuroo. How can he be so careless?

"You can't just fight him in a parking lot Kuroo, what if a teacher could see you? You'll be in big trouble, and now you have cuts all over your face, what are you gonna do with those? Cuts can be a pain, you should re—

—Are you worried?" He asks with a smirk, catching me off guard.

I looked away from him to hide the blush that I knew was coming.

"No, I mean ye— No." I stutter in my own words.

Receiving a chuckle from kuroo as he brings his hand to pat my head.

"If you wanted to treat my cuts you could've just said so." He says with a smirk, I glared at him once more, but he was kind of right.

Kuroo's POV

"Yo what happened to you?" Daiki asks as he scans the nicely treated cuts on my face.

"You literally didn't hear me and Daichi screaming at each other an hour or two ago?" I asked him with the most sarcasm.

Daiki only shakes his head before carrying his bag as he leans on the bus.

"Did you win? Or did he?" He asks one more time making me roll my eyes.

"Obviously me, I'm taller than that jerk." I confidently answered, raising my head up to show that I was telling the truth.

"You ain't shi—

—Kuroo?" I hear Y/n's voice calling out my name with that soft voice of hers.

Daiki's POV

Me and Kuroo both snapped our heads to Y/n who had her bags carried on her shoulder, she looks at me and gives me a small bow, I mirrored her action.

She then turns to kuroo again, "Do you wanna go home together?"

I feel myself getting envious at there interaction, Lord when will I have this?

"Sure, let me just finish helping Daiki with carrying things out from the bus." Kuroo says as he places both of his hands in his pockets.

It was obvious that he likes her, and I'm surprised that Y/n doesn't even know it yet, And as far as I'm concerned I can see Y/n liking my boy Kuroo too, I can tell that she was the one who cleaned his cuts, who will clean it other than Y/n anyway?

"Sure, I'll wait for you." Y/n says back.

"Y/n-senpai!" Hani who was one of the members of the second year calls out.

Y/n excuses herself from Kuroo and I as she ran to Hani who was looking excited to tell Y/n what she wanted to say. I guess it's safe to say that kuroo has a type.

I now turned my head over to Kuroo, he was still in the daze of love as he was still eyeing Y/n. Not wanting to ruin the moment for him I let him be, he soon snaps out of his trance still not giving me a glance he takes out his water bottle and sips on it.

I don't miss the way his lips tugs upwards into a small smile as took a sip on his water.

He only thinks of her, for sure.

Y/n's POV

"I'll see you tomorrow, princess." He says with that cringy nickname that he gave me since day one.

I rolled my eyes at him before waving my hand good bye, "Bye, Tetsu."

Before we can both even react to the sudden new nickname I gave him, the door had already closed. But I can see the slight red hue appearing on his cheeks and his slightly widened eyes as he looks at me through the small window of the doors.

The train then started to move, I was left there. Still surprised if I even had the rigt mind to call him that, but it somehow felt like it was meant for me to call him that so I brushed it off and headed home.

The walk to my house was lonely, even if Kuroo was there to accompany me I still feel like I could've done much better for Daichi's and I's relationship, if I was prettier maybe he would stay? I shook the thought in my head knowing very much that many people would disagree.

The ache was still there nonetheless, Daichi was my first boyfriend, first love, first everything. He was someone I thought I was meant to be with, someone I thought was for me, what could have I possibly done to have him cheat on me like that?

Finally I arrived at my house safe and sound, opening the door to our house I removed my shoes and placed them on the side before yelling, "I'm back!"

My mother and father showed up not a second later at the hallway with worried faces.

"Sweetie, welcome home! How was your debate?" My father says first before coming up to me and taking my bags for him to carry.

I only remained silent, I wasn't in the mood knowing that they treated Daichi as a son and someone who was very dear to them only for him to commit such act.

"Welcome home daughter." My mother says back as she walks closer to me as well, "Why are you so quiet?"

She and my father noticed my silence as they both looked at me with a frown on their face.

"How was your trip, Y/n." My mother asks again, hoping for me to answer her, only for her to receive me opening my arms to the both of them as I gave them both a hug.

The warmth of the parents was really different from anything else, I can't help but to sob again in their arms. I was crying more than I should've been, I was crying more than I normally do, and it hurts.

"So many things happened." I said in a very muffled voice, sobs were heard here and there.

I can feel them both tensing at my reaction, not everyday do they get to see me crying.

"Let me guess, it was that Daichi guy?"
