Y/n's POV

Me and Aiko stopped at the train station, sitting on the near bench to wait for the train. We started to have a conversation about our day.

We usually take the train, since walking home takes atleast about an hour to do so. So taking the train is probably the fastest way to get home to avoid the sun going down.

It takes atleast 30 minutes to arrive home in a train.

"The vice president is such a pain, I have to do all the work when he does nothing. He's a vice president for a reason." Aiko angrily says.

She got her backpack, putting the books she was holding earlier and she grabbed the book I held earlier and placed it all in her bag for no more hassle when we go into the train.

I listened to her rant about the vice president named Yamazaki, Aiko always rants him out for being lazy every single day.

I can't call it a day without aiko telling me how bad of a man yamazaki-san is, it makes me chuckle at how often aiko thinks about the guy.

She seems like she's into him rather than she's annoyed by him.

"I swear to God, his head is hard as a----

---Rock?" I finished her sentence for her.

"Yeah... Wait, h... How do you know?" She asks as she began to stutter.

"You've said it over and over since you became student council president, his head is hard as a rock, he's lazy as a sloth, he can't even help with all the activities." I said to her, predicting what she was already gonna say.

She sighs, knowing there was no way out of this. Leaning back on the bench as she looked at me.

"I'm sorry, I should stop talking about him. He's not that worth it." She says and looks ahead.

"Look it's L/n-san!" I heard my name being called.

I looked over to the voice, seeing yamamoto-san, kenma and kuroo. I forgot that they were taking the train also, usually I'll get onto the train and be as far away from kuroo. But knowing that it's Friday, the train would usually be really full along with Monday.

I gave Yamamoto a small wave not wanting to be rude, because Yamamoto is a nice guy.

He began to approach us.

"Hello student council president." He says to Aiko.

Aiko gave him a small smile and returned the same greeting.

Soon after kuroo and kenma went beside Yamamoto, kuroo was avoiding my gaze which I'm very greatfull to. I can't stand to look at that guy.

"Are you guys going to watch our match this Saturday?" Yamamoto asks.

"I don't know, who are you facing with?" Aiko asks, she seems invested in the match but I just shrugged it since I promised myself that watching sawamura-san play was the first and last time I'm going to watch kuroo.

"Shinzen I think, but it's not really that big. But I hope you both come, it'll boost my motivations." He says and brought his hands up in the air making Aiko chuckle.

"I'll come, what about you Y/n-chan?" She turns to me.

I still have to study, I have a lot to do. I don't know if my mother would even agree.

"Don't you have student council president things to do Aiko?" I ask her, turning the tables around.

"Don't worry about that, Saturday is rest day for us council officers. Are you going?" She asks me for the second time.

Without me noticing she started to look at me with big round puppy eyes.

I sighed knowing she was going to convince me either way.

"Fine." After I said that, I caught kuroo's head snapping it's way to my direction as I still avoided eyes contact with him.

"The train is here." Kenma's voice was quiet but we all managed to hear.

Seeing the train slowly stopping in front of us, knowing that I was right. The train was fully packed with people in suits and casual clothes and some had uniforms.

Me and Aiko stood up from the bench, the train door slide open. Me and Aiko was the first to go in. Noticing that there weren't anymore seat Aiko and I remained to stand up.

Soon after kenma, Yamamoto and kuroo went inside too. And to my surprise kuroo had to be beside me since Yamamoto took the side beside Aiko and now kenma was beside Yamamoto.

I grabbed on the handle of the train to not fall over and embarrassed myself.

But a minute after the train started to move, the people in the train started to increase one by one. It came to the point where I lost my grip on the handle, so I had to balance myself on the sea of people.

The train stopped again, opening the door. 5 new passengers came on boards, one of the passengers squeezed in between Aiko and I, completely seprating us both and now I was left by kuroo now.

I turned to face him after noticing the person next to me was too close on my face.

This was so uncomfortable.

After that, the train suddenly started to move making me lose my balance.

So much is going on, I'm going to die in here.

Trying to cling on something before I fell, I felt a hand wrapping around my waist to prevent me from falling.

I looked up, seeing kuroo looking at me. I flushed.

I respected him for one thing, his hand wasn't touching me. It was just his arm wrapping around me.

I'm not just surprised because not only was kuroo this close to me, he has his arms wrapped around my waist, and a blush was also seen in his cheeks.

"S... Sorry." I failed to keep a straight sentence.

Kuroo looks away, avoiding eye contact. I noticed his other hand which was gripping the handle was now gripping even harder if that's possible

I looked down, not noticing I had my hands gripping on his clothed chest. I yelped and let go of it. Not knowing where to put my hands as I just rested it on his chest to provide distance.

I don't know what I feel about this.

But I'm thankful, because if he didn't catch me I'll embarrassed myself once more.

"It's okay, you can hold on my arm for now." He says.

He's awfully being nice, it's honestly terrifying. Not knowing what he thinks of the situation as I just go with the flow.

Letting go of my waist as he gently grabbed my dominant arm and placed it on his arm that was gripping the handle. His arm was now my handle.

My arms on his chest quickly leaving as it stayed on my side.

Still can't believe kuroo was letting me use his hand as a handle. Not believing the act we just did earlier.

"Are you comfortable?" Did he really just asks that?

I looked at him in surprise.

"Yeah." I said, surprised that I didn't stutter.

"Young love." I heard an old woman's voice say with a chuckle at the end.

I looked a the voice, an old woman sitting on the seat with a gentle smile on her face as she looks at us. I bowed my head to her for a sign of respect, she bows her head in the same gesture.

This was awkward, not only were we mistaken as a couple we were also too close to my liking. Kuroo is nothing but my nemesis, he will be always like that.

We will always fight for who's smarter, I swear in every star that I'll never like this guy no matter what.

"When we get off... Forget this ever happened." I whispered.
