Y/n's POV

"Are you sure it's okay for me to ask him?" I asked Aiko one more time with a frown.

She groans in annoyance because I was asking her this question ever since we here on the rooftop to eat.

"How many times do I have to tell you? Kuroo can understand and if he turns your offer down then it is what it is." She says before taking a bite on her food as she shrugs her shoulders.

"You're not helping." I tell her before looking away.

"Look Y/n, you're just going to ask him if he's okay with joining the science club. What could possibly go wrong?"

Time skip

"Good afternoon class." The teacher says to us announcing that he has arrived.

The students didn't let another word come out of their mouth as we all faced the teacher.

"Before we get started in our lesson, I have to announce that the science club is missing participants from this section." He says in a serious voice, "We only need two participants."

I sighed, somehow I really wanted to join and try debate for a change, as I mentioned I liked debate especially when it's science. But I had second thoughts to raise my arm up because I knew that I was the only one going to volunteer.

"Hey kuroo! Why don't you join?" My male classmate asks in a loud voice making us all turn out head to kuroo who was resting his chin on his palm.

"I already have a club, sorry." He says in a bored voice.

I'm sure that was enough information on how to not ask him about the club thing, I should tell Aiko about this before she forcefully makes me to go and ask him about this which will probably eat my dignity bit by bit.

"Y/n-san? Why don't you join?" My female classmate who was sat in front of me asks.

I raised my eyebrow and looked at the teacher.

"I will probably be the only one." I said in all honesty.

"Well L/n is right, talk to me if someone from all of you ever changes their minds." The teacher said with a small smile before beginning the lesson again.

I slowly turned my head towards kuroo, surprised that he was already looking at me. He gives me a small smile before waving towards me, I smiled back before looking back at the board again.

(Another) Time skip

Kuroo's POV

Jumping up to spike the volleyball it landed hardly on the ground before bouncing up.

"I heard your section doesn't have a participant for this year's science debate." Yaku says to me.

We both walked our way to the bench to take a rest for a little while, the coach handing out water bottles for us.

"Yeah, I won't join since I have a club." I tell him before shipping on my water bottle.

"You're like the smartest kuroo! Think about it." Yamamoto suddenly jumps in.

"Shut up, handling two clubs is harder than you think." I tell him.

"You're kuroo tetsuro, handling Yamamoto through out the years is enough to be applaud." Kenma then talks in a calm voice before getting interrupted by a complaining Yamamoto.

"Leave me alone, I don't want to join. End of discussion." I tell them with a serious voice, warning them that it was the last time I was going to tell them to shut up.

"Kuroo, Y/n-san is looking for you." I hear kai's voice call my name out of no where.

I quickly turned my head towards the entrance door as soon as I heard her name, seeing as she was standing there while playing with her fingers as she nervously looked at me.

I forced my smile back before standing up and jogging my way towards her ignoring the unnecessary comments my teammates had given me.

"Do you need something?" Excitement was somehow visible in my tone as I now was standing in front of her.

"Well... Uh." She stutters as she looks away with a slight blush on her cheeks.

What was she nervous about? As long as I know I never see Y/n like this, but I find myself liking it in some way. Don't judge me.

But I am curious on what got her like this, did she do something wrong?

"Well?" I ushered her to hurry up in a good way.

"Will you join the science club with me?" She blurts out in a fast and hurried tone.

I was stunned, my body and heart already screaming a 'yes!' immediately as I was still processing what she just said.

Now that I think about it, joining two clubs at the same time wouldn't be so bad, right?

I'm so in love with her that it makes me do things I really don't.

"If you don't want to, I can understa----

----Sure, just wait for me after practice so we can join together okay?" I cut her off, I earned a widened eyes Y/n.

"You're gonna join!?" She almost yells, I nodded.

She smiles brightly before squeling in excitement, not really noticing that she already had given me a big hug. She smiled shyly before backing away.

A fast second of seeing a excited Y/n was a honor itself, that made my heart do a little bit of jumpy jumpy.

"See you later kuroo." She announces.

We bid our goodbyes before parting ways, I walk back inside the gym. Only to be greeted by my teammates with a look saying 'simp'.

I can agree, I was a simp indeed.

30 minutes later

Y/n's POV

"Are you sure about this kuroo-san? I heard you are part of the volleyball club." Daiki asks one more time before looking at kuroo with a look that says he can still back out while he can.

I looked at kuroo as well seeing as he already had a bold look on his face.

"I'm sure about it! Just write my name down already." Kuroo tells daiki before crossing his arms over his chest.

Daiki shrugs his shoulders before writing both of our names down on the paper which had the other members name in, I couldn't help my excitement really. It was my first time joining a club since my last two year here in nekoma high, but I was still worried about kuroo if he's really okay with this.

Volleyball can be hard, and joining in another club would such be a hassle and be tiring.

"All I need is to have you both answer this." Daiki says before pulling out two papers out from under the desk and giving it to us, "Don't worry its just about your necessary informations."

Me and kuroo both nodded before grabbing a pen and then writing what it was questioned in the paper, it was just about our birthdays and such.

After we both finished we again handed it back to daiki, he smiles at us.

"It's our first time having you guys in this club, and I heard lots of good things about you from tsukumo-sensei." Tsukumo-sensei was our teacher from science.

"We'll be looking forward to having a good time in this club." Kuroo tells daiki before holding out his hand to daiki asking for a fis bump.

Daiki quickly returns his fist.

"See you daiki, I still have to escort Y/n on the train." Kuroo says before looking over to me, I just scoffed and then looked at daiki with a small smile.

"Goodbye daiki, I can't wait to have some good time with all of you too." I said with a small bow.

"It's nothing Y/n-san, we're happy to have you both." Daiki replies.

Joining a club with kuroo tetsuro, never really thought about it when I hated him back then, God. Many things really did change.

Not to mention I get to meet daichi in the process! I can't wait, I really can't. But first, I should not tell him about this hehe, this should be a little surprise for him.

I can't wait to see the look on his face, after all we will have a good time..

...Right?
