Kuroo's POV

Haruka rinshoto.

After introducing herself she walked up to a available seat and took her seat, not forgetting some boys tried to spark a conversation but the teacher decides against it.

Was this the woman Yamazaki warned us about? I don't see why he warned us about her, but looks can be deceiving and I know that.

But forget all of this, the lingering feeling of Y/n's hand around mine was still here. I slowly turned my head to look at her, she was listening well to the teacher, full concentration shown in her face as she listens.

Knowing that I was going to take her to the venue of daichi's match which he forgot to tell her.

I was supposed to refuse knowing that I still have practice, but skipping one wouldn't hurt right? And plus, having Y/n saying she didn't regret being friends with me was the reward then I'll gladly take everything to hear that again.

But I really don't have the right to do a move on her knowing she's seeing somebody else, I respect her. Damn do I have so much respect for her.

And daichi is my friend, I can never do my friend like this.

They both deserve each other.

I don't deserve her.

Enough of this dramatic sh*t, let's talk about Yamazaki and Aiko.

Now this is what I think, they don't understand each other's feelings. They're too oblivious to notice that they feel something towards each other, I'm no therapist but I do feel like they both needed more communication. Yamazaki trusts what people says about Aiko so easily, and Aiko is just a... Tsundere in general.

They both make a great couple, but I think it'll be hard getting both of them in a real relationship since they're too shy to confess.

They should know by now, they should know their feelings towards each other.

But I guess if I were on yamazaki's shoe I would be shy as well, just like I often am whenever I'm with her.

Time skip

"Y/n-san." I called as I approached her which was now cleaning her table.

She hummed in response.

"Let's eat lunch together." I told her, "Don't get any wrong ideas, I'm just asking because we need to discuss our plans with Yamazaki."

She only nods.

"I need to see Aiko first." She says before walking out.

I still can't believe we stood in the same room being labeled as 'friends', and as we are now officially friends I did promise myself to make her smile as much as I can.

I should practice on not to be a d*ck around her more often, stopping my mouth to say anything bad anymore and think twice before saying.

She really did change something in me.

Y/n's POV

Walking out of the room, I sighed finally freeing myself from the warm feeling that was inside of me.

Immediately forcing my feet to walk to aiko's classroom, only to see her already in the whole way looking ahead with a blank face.

"Aiko." I called which earned a gaze from her.

She stops and gives me the fakest smile I ever seen, I also stopped in front of her. Forcing myself not to tell her that she should stop acting like she's happy because she's not. But then again I wanted to be a good friend for her.

"Are we gonna eat lunch together?" I ask.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Y/n-chan! The principal called me in because of the upcoming program the track club is about to have." She says, "I'll make it up to you tomorrow, take care okay?"

I nod at her, she waves at me one more time before disappearing.

I sighed, this was not the Aiko I knew, the way the fake happy tone she puts in her voice was not okay. Wanting nothing more than to fix this, I turned around walking towards the cafeteria as I got in I spotted Yamazaki and kuroo sitting on a table.

I walked up to them, as they both looked at me.

"Let's go to the rooftop, I don't like it here. It's loud." I said before walking off, assuming that they both followed me.

Opening the door to the rooftop I was met by a cold breeze, I inhaled it before walking in and sitting on the usual spot me and Aiko always eat at. And I assumed right as I felt kuroo and Yamazaki taking a seat beside me, placing their Bentos on the floor as I did the same.

"It's so quiet here, I hope I knew about this sooner." Yamazaki exclaims.

"You'll be the one making it loud." Kuroo says earning a snort from me.

Yamazaki playfully punches kuroo's shoulder.

"So, what's your plan?" Kuroo asks first before the three of us began to eat our own food.

Yamazaki thinks for a moment.

"Being her to her favorite café in town." He says, "Which is the cat café, across the street."

Yamazaki says, as I munched on the sushi my dad brought home for me.

"And then?" Kuroo asks wanting to continue.

"We will surprise her with flowers and chocolates." Yamazaki continues.

"And a proper speech to tell her that you're sorry... and confess to her also." I said in a blank tone, wanting all of this to end as fast as possible because I have my own problems as well, but that doesn't mean I don't care for Aiko.

I care for her, very deeply. And knowing that she's like this I am willing to do anything for her.

"It's not that easy to confess." Yamazaki says in a low voice.

"You need to try though, because if you don't then don't expect her to confess for you." Kuroo says, which I agree to him.

Yamazaki shouldn't wait around like this when Aiko is obviously into him.

"You should know that she's been putting up a fake smile since we got here, you need to fix this Yamazaki-san." I said, almost like I was pleading him to make her happy again.

Yamazaki looks at us for a moment before answering.

"I couldn't say no to that." He says with a small laugh at the end, also earning a chuckle from kuroo and I.

"When are we gonna do it though?" I ask.

"Tomorrow, I'm guessing you're busy right now since daichi has a match." Yamazaki says taking me by surprise.

"How do you know?" I ask him.

"I'm the vice president, of course I would know." He confidently says and gave me a smirk at the end of the sentence.

This was the Yamazaki I knew.
