Y/n's POV

"Huh?" I said out loud.

Clearly flustered of what he suddenly said.

But most importantly I was too worried about my answer, what was the right one to say at this moment? Should I say sure or nah? But I do want to know if he's being sincere, but he's a jerk.

But I do believe people can change, using their mistakes to get better is not that bad. Nothing's bad about it at all, it's just another person trying to get better at this cruel world.

He's saying these stuff so casually too.

I refused to believe that this is kuroo.

"I... I don't know." I failed to make another straight sentence.

He suddenly gets off the table and looks at me with such confident look, his arms still crossed in front of his chest as his smirk stays intact.

This made me stand up on my seat also, flustered and still not knowing what to do.

"Alright then! I'll give you time." With that being said he left.

Leaving me confused and with unanswered question flowing my mind, my eyes were widening slowly and slowly.

He asked me to be his friend?

Here I thought him apologizing was impossible.

He even told me he was going to give me time, I refuse to believe that he can get anymore nice.

This was all too sudden, I needed time to accept these things.

Most importantly, I needed someone's opinion about this.

I finally gathered myself up, forcing myself to walk out of the classroom I felt my feet taking me to aiko's classroom. The things he said to me still on my mind, bothering my thoughts.

I was pretty sure this was going to haunt me forever.

I needed explanations, why was he suddenly like that? And I was sure that he already knew that I wasn't going to accept it... Yet.

Don't ask me why I'm considering his offer, he seems like a nice guy, but when he's with his friends. So will he change if I accept it? I'm curious myself, but if I do regret my decision and he proves himself unworthy. I'll never forgive myself.

Not realizing I was already in front of aiko's classroom I waited til one by one the students were now exiting.

"Y/n-chan?" I heard her voice calling out my name.

I looked at the voice seeing aiko looking at me with a confused look on her face. I don't usually wait for her in her classroom, I usually wait outside the building reading my text book or something.

"Let's go home." I said in a quick tone.

She frowns.

"We are going home, what are you on about?" She asks with a small chuckle at my silly behavior.

"I'm serious, I need to talk to you." I said in a more serious tone for her to take me seriously.

"Easy killer, I still have to talk with the principal. It's for the summer camp the volleyball team is holding next month." She explains.

As soon as she mentioned the volleyball club, I mentally wanted to hide. I was feeling more nervous than I thought I would when he mentioned something that I knew kuroo was involved at.

"I will wait." I said in a confident tone.

She looks at me with a surprised look.

"You're being weird." She tells me and eyes me like I killed someone.

No I'm not, despite kuroo apologizing for being a jerk for the whole three years of my life, and then I thought that was surprising he suddenly asks me to be his friend, he even tells me that he can give me some time to answer like a prick. And no I'm not being weird today.

"We finally have something in common then." I said in a blank face.

She laughs at my remark and then rolls her eyes.

"Fine, let's go." She says and then finally walks off wanting me to follow her to the principal's office

She made me wait outside, so I did if it meant for her to listen at my unbelievable words. I'll do anything.

I needed her opinions also, she was a friend that made me open up to the world. Made me realize that I was more than enough. She was very dear to me, and had the best way with her words.

While I was waiting, I was looking outside the window. Seeing as the students left the school.

While I was looking out, I heard footsteps coming my way.

I immediately turned around and looked at the person.

The coach of the volleyball team and... Kuroo.

Great, just great. And here I thought I can finally have a piece of my mind, think of myself for one hour. And here he appears.

The devil in the flesh.

I didn't realize my face turned into a scowl in a matter of a second when my eyes landed on his.

But I calmed my expression when I realized he was with his coach, I gathered myself and bowed at the elder. He bows back.

"Hello nekomata-sensei." I greeted, pushing the hair strand behind my ear when it was blocking my sight.

The moment of daichi placing it behind me for me played in my mind, making me blush at the thought but I quickly Shaked it away.

"L/n... Are you here to sort the matter of next month's summer camp?" He asks me, while giving me a small smile.

Kuroo and him stopped in front of me, kuroo looking into me like I was going to disappear. Tch, nekomata-sensei had his hands behind his back as he continued to look at me too.

"No. I'm waiting for Aiko, sensei." I answered.

He nods.

"I thought you were a part of the student council, I heard a lot about you from kuroo." He says, looking behind his back and then back at me again.

My eyes widened slowly.

Me and nekomata-sensei weren't that close, but he does have a chat with me once in a while about school or our teacher. He also often asks me about some upcoming event in the school which I think led to him believing I was apart of the student council.

"I don't like responsibilities." I honestly answered with a small smile.

He chuckles at what I said.

"Say L/n-san, we are coming low with assistance next month. We don't have a lot of students to help with the summer camp." He says, "I hope I'm not asking much but would you like to assist us for next month's summer camp?"

Another choice for me to make.

I'm not really looking for things to do, so I'll probably think about it and say no.

"I'll think about it, sensei." I said, he just nods.

I looked over to kuroo who was looking at me still, eyeing me like a freaking hawk.

"What?" I asked quietly, hoping he only heard it.

He smirks and then shrugs his shoulders before looking away.

When is he going to change that kind of gesture?

The door to the principal office suddenly opens and Aiko appears, she bows her head and greet nekomata-sensei. Nekomata-sensei greets her back.

"The principal was looking for you, sensei." Aiko said with a chuckle and then went back inside along with nekomata-sensei.

"Impatient as ever." Nekomata-sensei sighs.

Before kuroo can enter the office he glanced at me.

"Saying yes to coach's offer won't hurt." He says before going inside.

Tch.

Idiot, this was going to be a long month. Alot of choices to choose, and not one of them was able to satisfy me.

I just really needed someone to talk to to get all of these things out of my head.
