Y/n's POV

"There's this girl who came up to me asking me to move my bag because she was going to sit, and then I told her that I won't because I'm saving it for a friend, we then started to trash talk each other." Aiko says with a pout on her lips.

I chuckled at her silly story.

"You do know that it's okay if I don't have a seat." I assured her but she looks at me pouting even more.

"I always save you a seat though." She defends herself.

Knowing I can't get my way with her, I gave up.

"What about Yamazaki-san? What did you both do?" I asked her, the pout on her face disappearing like it was never there.

Aiko looked at me with a happy face.

I don't get to see this Aiko alot, sometimes it's just her complaining about the amount of works she has to do as a student council president, or she has to complain about her parents being strict as usual.

"Well... We talked." She says, the blush on her cheeks giving away that she feels something.

She plays with her fingers as she looks away from my gaze.

I'm not used to this kind of Aiko, but happy that she finally knows that she doesn't hate Yamazaki-san.

"What kind of talk?" I asked her, eagerly wanting to know what they talked about.

Did they confess? Did Yamazaki flirted with her the whole walk?

"He told me I was pretty." She says, looking down as she was embarrassed.

"Really? That's so sweet of him." I said to my friend who now looked at me with a frown.

I know this look, the looks she always gives me whenever something she did was very messed up. The smile in my face faded and it was replaced with a confused look.

"I didn't say 'thank you', I ran away from him Y/n..." She says and looks away again.

I widened my eyes a little, not expecting her to do something embarassing. But I don't mean it in a rude way, I'll never mean it like that. It's just she wasn't thinking straight.

"What do you mean you ran away?" I asked her, wanting more info before I go into conclusions.

"I ran and went inside the train without saying goodbye." She says, burying her face on her hands as she shakes her head in embarrassment.

I sighed, chuckling before I rubbed her back for comfort.

"You were just flustered, you should talk to him at sc---

---I don't want to! It's so embarassing." She says and looks at me.

I can see the deep red on her her cheeks as her eyebrows furrowed.

"We'll just clear it up when we arrive." I assured her as she fakes cry on my shoulder.

Time skip arriving at school

After aiko gathering up herself from the embarrassment yesterday she finally began to move away with my help.

She explained to me how Yamazaki treated her when they were walking, and then I told her that she should forget and stop talking about it because she'll just dig even deeper into embarrassment.

"You still haven't chosen a club yet Y/n." Aiko says sending me a glare.

I shrugged my shoulders.

There's nothing interesting really, I figured I could join the art club. But then again I have to be active.

As I said before I'm not good with physical activities, so there's no club that really has my interests.

"I don't want to join." I said to her, which she groaned at.

"I can get you into any club, you're lucky that your best friend is the student council president." She says before looking ahead of us.

We were now nearing at our school.

"It's okay, I just don't want to join." I once again refused.

Aiko finally surrenders, we both went inside our school, some students were greeting Aiko. She's very popular here in school because she's the president of course, but other than that her personality shines out more.

We both went inside the building, I knew that we were going our separate ways because we have different class. Aiko wanted to have the same class as me but I told her that it was too much work.

I went to my classroom, preparing myself for another day of school.

Going inside our room my classmates were at their respective seats, some were talking to each other. Some had their books out and reading some were just playing around.

"Good morning Y/n-san!" One of the boys greets me with a smile.

I smiled back and gave him a little wave, his friend pats his back like the boy who greeted me won something.

I went to my seat at the middle row

I bring out my text book, reading back all of the necessary things I should learn.

And then the atmosphere of the room suddenly started to change, I looked up from my book. Watching as kuroo enters the room with a blank expression.

He seems to be in a bad mood. I thought to myself.

He's usually smirking when he enters and makes fun of me for the littlest things he sees.

He blankly sits on his seat, which was across from me. I never realized I was looking at him til one of my classmate came up to me.

"Y/n-san?" He calls out.

I turned my head towards him. I hummed in response.

"Can I copy some of your notes? I was absent last week so I didn't get to copy any of it." He says so shyly, scratching the back of his neck as he looks away from me.

"Sure." Nodding my head I grabbed my notes out of my bag, handing it out to him he thanks me and proceeds to take the notes out of my hand and walked back to his seat.

Can't start a day without having someone asking for notes.

I felt myself look at kuroo again, his text book opened in front of him as he read it.

His bed hair were messy as usual, but it suits him.

I shake my head, forcing myself to look away and focus on the book in front of me.

Why was I looking at him in the first place? I don't like him right?

The teacher soon entered the classroom.

Time skip to lunch

I gathered all of my stuff, eager to taste the food on my mouth since I was so damn hungry.

Getting up front my seat I was about to walk to the door while I fixed my bag on me, not realizing I bumped into someone on my way out of the door.

"I'm so sorry." I said, looking up I saw kuroo looking at me with the same blank expression.

I expected him to say something mean, but he ignored me and walked pass me. I frowned and looked at his back which was now walking away from me.

That was weird.

I shrugged it off knowing it was probably nothing.

Walking my way to the rooftop, since it's aiko and I's spot whenever it's lunch time. Opening the door to the rooftop, I spot a familiar female sitting on the floor of the rooftop with a Bento on her lap.

"Aiko." I called out which she turns her head to me.

"Hello Y/n-chan!" She says signalling me to sit beside her, which I did.

"How was your class?" I asked her first as we both started to open our Bento.

"Ittadakimas." We both said in Union.

"Interesting, I went inside the classroom finding Yamazaki waiting at my desk." She says while she placed the sausages shaped like octopus in her mouth.

"He's a very promising man." I said to her while I bite into my own food.

"I know, he says sorry if he made me uncomfortable. I guess it was nothing to be embarrassed about." She says with a shrug of her shoulders.

I saluted yamzaki for being such a great man, you don't get to see that everyday.

Suddenly I heard my phone ringing in my pocket. I excused myself and got my phone out my pocket and looked at the ID Caller.

Daichi is calling...
