"Kuroo, help me!" I frantically yelled right when Kuroo answered the call. "What do you want?" Kuroo with tired eyes and nappy hair appeared on my phone.

"I think I made Estelle sad."

Last night, Estelle asked me if I wanted to go to that important convention thingy, which I was very happy about by the way. Estelle, that one Nanami-obsessed-kdrama-enthusiast-introverted girl asked me to go out with her! It was quite shocking, I know.

Don't get me wrong, I was extremely excited to go until I realized that I already had plans.

"Is this about you not being able to go to the convention?" Kuroo asked. "Yeah." I frowned into the camera.

"You don't have to feel bad. Estelle knows that you can't go, so she isn't mad or anything," my favorite brother shrugged. Now, I just feel worse because she doesn't care if I can go or not.

"But I feel guilty." I put my hands on my eyes and turned my head downwards.

"Brokuto, I already told you she understands, so you don't have to feel guilty."

"But I feel guilty because why I can't go."

"Huh?" Kuroo lifted an eyebrow through the facetime.

"..."

"...I can't go because I am going on a date."

"WHAT?!?!!?!?!?!?!!?!" Kuroo stood up from the bed he was laying on and shook his phone aggressively. He is honestly not making me feel better about this. I put my phone on my desk and also stood up aggressively.

"I know, I am a horrible person."

"Why are you going on a date? I thought you liked Estelle? You even planned plans to take her out," Kuroo shook his head disappointed. He probably was just looking out for both of his good friends.

"It wasn't my idea!! A few months ago, I was complaining to Akaashi about being single, so he set me up on a blind date."

It's true though. I was scrolling through tiktok and saw one of those cute couple cosplayers and got sad that I was extremely alone and single. Obviously, I complained to Akaashi for hours, so he finally set me up on a date. The date was actually supposed to be a few weeks ago, but I kept pushing it back because I was busy with volleyball.
(or just texting Estelle tbh). We decided to put a time on the date, and I can't really cancel because I already cancelled 18437827827 million times. What is even worse is that he set me up with a famous model, so her fans could attack me.

"Oh does Estelle know?" Kuroo asked.

"Well no, she wouldn't let me let a word out before she ran away, which I totally understand. If I asked someone to go somewhere with me, and they said no, I would get out of the situation also." I rubbed my temples. This is getting too complicated. Why did I have to complain about being single? I just want Estelle and me to be one of those cute pinterest couples that take pictures outside of Mcdonalds.

"If you want my opinion, just don't play her. Its okay if you want to talk to other girls, but you have to be upfront with Estelle if you're really interested in her," he said.

"But I genuinely like her!" Even though I met her through text messages, she truly does lighten up my day. Every time she texts me, I feel little fireworks in my stomach. Dammit, I think I am going soft for this girl, but it's fine because she is worth it.

"Then you need to prove it to her and do not lead her on. She's like a little sister to me, and I am not letting anyone hurt her, even you." Kuroo squinted his eyes in a chilling aura.

"Don't worry, I don't think I have ever been this interested in a girl. I know this maybe sounds creepy, but I look forward each day to seeing the weird memes she sends me. She even bought an international streaming service to watch my volleyball games because she lives in the States!" I sighed and looked down at my hands, "Kuroo, I am utterly invested in this girl despite the fact that we live a 1000 miles away or if she's a 2D men simp."

I looked back up to see Kuroo with tears running down his face? "Bro, you okay?"

"THAT WAS THE CUTEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!! You're so manly bro," He responded with a wide smile on his face.

"Thanks Kubro, let's hope Estelle thinks so too."

"KENMA! YOU DUMB WHORE!!" I yelled at my stupid-ass-bitch-cat-friend. "It is not my fault you're bad at the game?" Kenma rubbed his eyes tiredly. "You obviously hit my player off!!!" We were playing Mario Kart.

I may be one of the least athletic people compared too my friends, but with video games, I am extremely competitive.

"That was an NPC." Kenma finished 1st for the 17th time in a row.

"SHUT UP, YOU RIGGED THIS GAME!"

"How would I rig this game?"

"Idk, aren't you rich?"

"That has nothing to do with this, plus I already won, so can you hold up your deal of the bargain," Kenma questioned, while patiently rubbing his head.

"Fine." I dragged myself to the kitchen and started going through the cabinets to look for ingredients. I restocked all of Kenma's groceries yesterday, since he only had a box of cereal in his pantry. I swear, how does he not have any food? Doesn't he have a whole business to run? Huh, I don't know anymore.

Eventually, I got out all of the ingredients and started making his favorite, apple pie. Just as I mixed the dry ingredients, I got a text.
