"I hope you got my mom's note. I-I don't do well on windy roads!" Ben informed the two counsellors as dirt flew up into the air as the vehicle moved, leaving a dusty trail following behind us.

"What's good Brooklanders? It's your girl Brooklynn coming at you from the best place ever: Camp Cretaceous! Like and subscribe to join me as I unbox Jurassic World!" Shouted the pink-haired girl, who I now knew as Brooklynn. She was filming another video on her phone, being a blogger of some kind as I assumed.

"Okay, I need you all to say who you are and a little bit about yourself. And... action," she instructed with her phone in hand to record us.

"Oh, um... I beat this awesome VR dinosaur game! I-I'm Darius by the—" said Darius, before he got interrupted by a girl that was sitting on the far side of the jeep.

"I'm sorry—I just can't believe... you're Brooklynn!" Sammy squealed, cutting off Darius. And continued going on "I'm Sammy Gutierrez, total Brooklander!" She began to shake hands with Brooklynn happily, afterwards pointing finger guns and doing 'bang' sounds when shots went off, making you chuckle softly at your friend's enthusiasm.

Then realisation hitting you in seeing that one of your old friends was a fan as well, and made you watch some of her vlogs before. That would explain why she seemed so familiar! "Oh, also my family supplies all the beef for the park, and that's how I got here," she added with an awkward laugh...

The pink haired blogger smiles "Oh, well great to meet you, Sammy!" And checks the lighting for the footage she was currently filming.

"Yeah, I remember some of my friends watching your vlogs before. He/she's also a big fan too, what you do is pretty cool." You spoke up and flash a quick smile, Brooklynn looking your way and nods sheepishly "Thanks, uhm..."

"Y/N... Y/N L/N, came here by beating the VR game as well." You gave a soft smile. You could've sworn the yellow jacket wearing boy had his eyes on you when you mentioned beating the VR game too. The pink-haired girl grinned "Nice meeting you as well, Y/N..."

"Um, what's a Brooklander?" Darius asks in question, quirking an eyebrow in slight confusion at the same time.

"Oh, that's just what my online followers call themselves." Brooklynn explained, while looking back down at her phone and wipes a small blur in her camera lens.

"Her fans, basically." You elucidated.

"Uh, all 27 million of us! Pow, Pow!" Sammy spoke up, pointing fingers guns and imitating gun shots.

"Yep. That's why she's the only one who gets to keep her cellphone... She's famous." Track-star added blankly.

Kenji's eyebrow quirked up with wide eyes. "Hold on. Rich, and famous? Oh, meant to be..." smirking flirtatiously, pointing to himself and then to Brooklynn. Grabbing her phone, and takes a selfie of him and pink haired blogger.

"Do you seriously have to flirt with every girl you meet?" You questioned and arms folded.

Then Kenji's attention went onto you "Well, who cares? They all love me. I'm that attractive, and women love a hot date..." he simpered and moved his hair back to give a better view of his good-looking face.

"Well, there's more to a man than by his looks or status." You rolled your eyes, arms folded.

"Eh sadly, that's not what the world thinks, princess. Besides I can tell your pretty charmed by me, just admit it." Kenji wiggles his eyebrows at you, making you scoff.

"I'm not really interested in wealthy, stuck-up, teenage pricks..."

"Your pretty feisty, huh?" He asked with his eyebrow up.

"Don't mention it."

Brooklynn bit her bottom lip awkwardly before ending the video. She was definitely going to cut that footage out before posting it to her viewers. As Kenji was about to speak up again, the vehicle came to a sudden halt. We look around the jeep to see what happened and glance at each other, and then to the two counsellors.

"Um, Dave, what's going on?" Ben asks nervously, hands gripping the side of the jeep.

Dave turned to us with a small smile. "Oh, nothing you need to worry about," he reassured, getting out of the jeep with an electric staff, kind of like a taser, that they use for the dinosaurs, Roxie following suite and had hers in hand "But you should all definitely stay in your seats," his expression changing to a stone-faced and cautious tone.

"Oh god..." Ben gulped and turned away, while as we all stood up to see what was happening in curiosity and excitement. Watching Dave and Roxie go through the jungle terrain carefully.

Then you could hear low rustling coming from behind you, glancing behind to see the bushes shaking a bit. An uneasy feeling in you as it continued moving, turning to your friends and see that Darius noticed the commotion too. A frown hovering his features "Uh guys..."

The leaves rustled a little louder this time, making you more on edge "Guys..."

Then we heard a noise as something leaped out of the bushes, making me and Darius scream. Which led to the others getting spooked as well as we all jumped in fright. You and Sammy standing beside each other on the seats as Darius fell onto his back.

You looked down to see a small dinosaur on top of Darius, eyes wide in shock. He groaned softly before his expression mirrored your own. The creature roaring lowly as the boy stared in amazement "Wow..."

Then hops off and tried to run towards the jungle, only to get caught by Roxie in a blanket. "Gotcha," she groaned, before placing the escaped dinosaur into a crate. "Oh, these things are always getting out of their enclosure..." she muttered before placing the loose dinosaur into a cage, and inside the jeep as it growled at Roxie. "And... Crisis averted." she breathed and wiped her forehead. You all huddled around the door to see the small creature.

"A real life compsognathus!" He gaped with excitement beside you, trying to have a better peek at the dinosaur in the cage. A smile on your face "Despite how scary it was. It was a pretty cool peek on what's in store for us."

"Oh, please. It took a blanket and a cat carrier to catch it... Boring..." Kenji scoffed and sat back down on his seat, yawning while shaking his head.

"Well, it scared you pretty good." Darius remarked with a grin, turning around to face the rich boy.

This making you nod in agreement "And if I remember correctly, you shrieked and hid like a little girl when that compy came out..." earning a chuckle out of Darius, Sammy giggling softly, Brooklynn smirking in amusement. Even a brief, and tiny smile from Ben and Track-star girl as you returned to your seat.

Kenji rolled his eyes and looked away from us, focusing on the road ahead. And the ride resumed silent, apart from a few 'oohs' and 'woahs' as we travelled through the Isla Nublar jungle. I didn't really pay attention to the scenery around me, having seen it so many times already. It was the actual camp and Jurassic World attractions that I was the most excited for.

Soon, we came upon a large wooden gate that led to not only the park, but to our fun getaway. All of us gazing up at the majestic entrance with the title written across it in awe and wonder. (and cue the iconic opening score by John Williams ✨😭)

"Welcome to Camp Cretaceous..." Dave announced, the doors opening as we drove through the gate, feeling exhilaration flowing within you. A smile growing onto your face.

Everyone cheering happily, you glance at your new friends and make eye contact with Darius. Who sent you a childlike grin your way and a low laugh leaving your lips in knowing your adventure was about to begin...
