"Yea , I just left from school and I'm bout to go pick up Imara from daycare." I told Gleesh as I got in the car . "Do you still have money for the stuff you want?"

"Yea , i'm barley eating food in here i just be snacking and shit. You good?"

"Yea, are you good? I'm coming to see you tomorrow."

"Yea, I got court later today. My lawyer said they don't have nothing on me so I should be out by April ."

"April? It's only December."

He huffed , "Bae, I know , it's just a long process especially with it being a murder but if I do good like no fights and shit , mind my business, I could be out earlier than that but April at the soonest."

"Okay, I love you." I said knowing the phone was gonna hang up anytime soon.

"I love you more baby mama. T-y been being good?"

"Yea he better, he not as bad."

"That's good, yo daddy coo?"

"Back in the hospital again, they treating it but it's bad."

"It's gone be okay Face, just think positive."

"I'm trying to."

"Okay, this phone finna hang up, I love you again."

"I love you too and Ima put more money on your stuff , start eating actual food."

"I'll try." He chuckled .

Soon the phone hung up and I was at Imara's daycare . They were all playing outside, I went in , checked her out and she came running to me smiling.

"Hey pretty girl." I picked her up before walking out.

"Hii." she put her little hands on my face kissing my cheek .

"Did you have fun?" I asked as I buckled her in .

"Mhm, I eat some chickennnn and I eat chips and drink juice. I watch my movie too."

"Princess and the frog?"

"Yep." she said excitedly and I smiled closing her door.

Once we finally made it home, I took her out her car seat.

"Imara take your shoes off at the door."

"Okay." she sat down and took them off.

"You hungry?"

"Yea , can i have chips?" She looked up.

"You want a hotdog with chips?"

She tilted her head before looking around "Mmm, yea." she nodded.

I put her hotdog in water and warmed it up , hearing my phone ring, I picked it up seeing T-y calling.

"Hello." I sat my phone up .

"Hey, you love me?"

"Yea." I chuckled knowing he was finna ask me for something.

"Can you order me some food to the hospital? I'm hungry."

"Why you not at school?" I made a face .

"We went on break."

"Oh, yea what you wanna eat?"

"I want some Mcdonald's."

"Chicken nuggets?" I asked going to doordash.

"Yea and Hi-C for my drink."

"Okay, i'll send you the screenshot of when it's coming, whats daddy doing?"

"He sleep, he been sleep all day."

"He been eating?"

"Yea, he ate earlier then went right back to sleep."

I nodded, "Okay, when he wake up, tell him to call me."

"Okay and thank you, Hey imara." He waved when he seen her get in the camera.

"Hi." she waved smiling.

"Okay bye , i'm finna send the stuff , make sure you go to the door downstairs to get it."

"Ight, bye." He said and hung up.

I sent him the stuff before going to the microwave to get Imara hotdog.

"Here, I gave her the variety pack of chips , pick one."

She picked one and went to sit at her little table, I cut her hotdog giving her some ketchup on the side and a fork . "You can grab a juice out the fridge when you done."

"Okay, thank you."

"You welcome." I smiled , she got way more comfortable since she been with me, she still like Gleesh more though. "What you wanna watch?"

"Ummmm, Princess ?"

"Girl you watched it today." I laughed as I clicked through trying to find it.

"I watch it again." She said as she stuffed a cheeto in her mouth.

"Girlll, i guess so." I clicked it and skipped the beginning.

I just need garbage bags, sugar, toothpaste and bleach spray.

I thought to myself as I pulled into the Walmart parking lot just reminding myself.

Getting Imara out the car, she slept peacefully as I held her.

I grabbed her diaper bag and went into the store.

I walked around looking for what i needed , Imara laid in the cart still sleeping.

After getting what I needed, I headed to the front and Imara sat up looking around.

"I get that?" She instantly asked and I grabbed the teddy bear she pointed to.

"I got you some lunchables and some more snacks okay, so don't ask for nothing when we get up here." I told her.

"Okay." she nodded.

I went to the self check out and rang my things up then bagged them.

"I help you." Imara said holding her hand out trying to get the bag.

I handed her the bag and she sat it down before going for another one.

We got all the bags in the cart then left , I called Myona to check on her.

"Hey girl." I said getting in the camera.

"Heyyy, where you at?"

"Just left walmart, grabbing stuff I needed, what you doing? Where Kali?"

"She right here watching this dumbass cocomelon, Bouka fed her and laid her down then fell asleep."

"He always sleep." I laughed.

"Girl yes, always sleep then wanna wake up and leave like no." She made a face. "How you been tho?" She asked as I put the bags in the car.

"Good, I just want my dad out the hospital and Gleesh home."

"When Gleesh next court date?"

"It's tomorrow, he said he should be home by April at the earliest I think." I said closing Imara's door after buckling her in.

"That's not that bad. Bouka act too damn paranoid thinking Gleesh finna be gone forever."

"I doubt he is but I want him home sooner than April that's so long." I huffed .

"It's gone go by fast just take it day by day. You been doing good with Imara ? or it's hard."

"She not bad, she just want everything." I laughed. "She don't cry or nothing unless it's serious."

She nodded, "That's good, I hope Kali like that, I can't deal with no fussy child."

"Girllll." I dragged. "You not gone have no choice." I buckled up. "Ima call you when I get home though."

"Okay, be safe , love you."

"Love you too." I said and she hung up .

We made our way back home, wasn't really nothing to do today .
