The next morning Taehyung didn't bring himself in any trouble as he didn't only wake up early but also remembered to charge his phone, forgetting that he had Jungkook's number in it.

Taehyung literally kicked him right there between his legs to get himself free from him, it wasn't like Jungkook would do anything more than that.

Not like Taehyung cared though not after how this playboy tried to flirt and provoke him but Taehyung ain't that easy.

It was just Jungkook's way to flirt but now it cost him so much that the poor boy couldn't even attend the college that day, not able to walk properly.

Taehyung felt bad later, his thoughts keeping him awake at night and he wondered if Jungkook was really okay but he brushed the thoughts away, thinking why would he care.

Now Taehyung couldn't see Jungkook this morning, fortunately, he thought but deep inside he felt bad for the other one.

Taehyung stood by the door for a while as he was leaving to his college, waiting for Jungkook to come out so that he could check on the guy but it didn't happen so Taehyung chose to walk away, still turning around several times as he kept his eyes on his door.

As soon as he got into the elevator, he sighed, thinking maybe he left but to his wonder Jungkook's car was parked in the parking lot.

"Wait, he really isn't going today or is it because of me?" Taehyung asked himself, walking to his car as he spaced out.

"The hell, why do I care? Didn't he deserve it? Whatever." Taehyung brushed his bipolar feelings away, his mind making him go crazy.

Jungkook was right, he indeed had his impact on Taehyung.

~♡~

It was almost evening when Jungkook heard heavy knocks on his door. He had to leave his game midway of playing as he got up to open the door, just to only find his friends.

"Ah, so you're really here. I was about to tell Namjoon the house number was still wrong." Yoongi said, walking inside the house and instantly dropping on Jungkook's couch.

"Finally you guys found me." Jungkook chuckled, sitting next to Yoongi.

"You didn't attend college today so it gave me a reason to come and see you." Namjoon began, joining the two.

"Here, notes for today." Namjoon unzipped his bag and threw a bundle of papers into Jungkook's lap.

"I would really appreciate it if you pretend for a while that you didn't come here to give me the notes but actually came to check on me." Jungkook said, sulking as he put the papers on the table.

"What is it? Did your car taste the milkshake again?" Yoongi asked, making Namjoon laugh at him.

"Not my car this time but my balls were hit really hard." Jungkook said, leaning over the backrest.

"What balls?" Namjoon asked, raising his one brow at him.

"What balls do men have? You dumb." And it was enough for Yoongi to show his gummy smile as he burst out into laughter and Namjoon literally dropped down from the couch.

"Seriously guys?" Jungkook shouted, sulking at the two.

"What did you do this time?" Yoongi asked, controlling his laughter.

"I just told him my name."

The two then watched him with blank faces, unamused.

"And!?" Namjoon asked, wanting him to tell him everything and with a heavy sigh Jungkook finally told them everything that happened to him.

The two tried to control up until then but they then started laughing again.

"Don't tell me this is the reason you didn't attend?" Namjoon asked and Jungkook frowned, throwing the pillow on his face.

"Let me hit you in the balls and let's see if you attend tomorrow." Jungkook warned and this time the two had to stay quiet.

"I wonder how you always complained about your life being so plain, your neighbour had to stumble upon you earlier." Yoongi said finally, turning to face Namjoon who was still giggling sneakily.

"I already warned you to stay in limits but you never listened." Namjoon reminded Jungkook who was still sulking.

"Your neighbour doesn't seem how he sounds. Devil in disguise." Yoongi said, making Jungkook wonder about his pretty face but his heart was the opposite.

Jungkook spaced out, eyes popping out as he got lost in a haze of thoughts and Namjoon poked Yoongi's elbow to point to him.

"He had never been like this before." Namjoon whispered to Yoongi who smiled.

"He is planning for revenge maybe." The two laughed and Jungkook was unaware of it.

Yes, he was thinking about Taehyung.

~♡~

Taehyung came back home after college, parking his car before getting out and finding the familiar car parked beside Jungkook's and his eyes widened.

"Wait, are the two here?" Taehyung wondered, realizing the car belonged to one of Jungkook's friends.

Taehyung looked around and then rushed inside the building before he could stumble upon the two, too embarrassed to face them after what he did.

He sighed out of relief as he hopped into the elevator, tapping his feet impatiently.

The elevator rang as he reached the 20th floor and as the door opened up, he stepped back, gulping as he found the two guys standing in front of the elevator.

Taehyung watched Namjoon and he watched him who then watched Yoongi who also watched him, an awkward moment in awkward silence with awkward gazes.

Taehyung's heart was about to come out of his chest.

"Oh hi, nice to see you again." Namjoon finally said, smiling at the internally panicking guy.

"Ah it was a long run…" Yoongi whispered and Taehyung's expressions turned to terrified ones.

Namjoon smiled again, his dimples popping out as he sided away for Taehyung to walk away, not wanting to provoke him who rushed to his door and sneakily turned his face to see the two leaving.

Taehyung unlocked the door and rushed inside, sighing out of satisfaction.

"Oh lord, what would they be thinking of me?" Taehyung muttered, taking his shoes off.

"Ah shit my head, why do I care? They are his friends after all." Taehyung dropped on his couch, staring at the wall.

"But they seem better than him."

A cute pout appeared on his lips as he scratched his nape while thinking.

"Wait, is he really that much hurt that his friends came to check on him?" Taehyung's eyes suddenly widened in realization.

"Was it really this bad?" He stood up, turning to face the wall that was parting his and Jungkook's house.

"Ahhh, not again. Why the hell do I care?"

Yes, why the hell does he care.

~♡~

Jungkook was fine up until then but his father called him, adding to his frustration but he didn't pick up until his father called him like over twenty times. He finally gave up, deciding to get the call.

"What is it dad?" He asked frustratedly.

"Ah… Jungkook… my son… how are you? Why didn't you pick up the calls and where are you?" His father asked the other side and Jungkook took the phone away from his ear, his heavy loud voice attacking Jungkook's eardrums.

"Listen dad, I can answer one question at one time and yes, for now I don't want to answer anything."

"Hey… I'm sorry my son. It took me a while to collect myself to talk to you after that. I'm really sorry son. Tell me, where are you?"

"Home."

"Which one? I literally searched for you in all the villas. Where the hell are you staying?"

"Somewhere in peace, now stop calling me dad, I'm not in the mood today."

"You never are, now that's enough. I want you back home now."

"I am not coming."

"Why?"

"Because I need some peace and that's not there."

"What do you mean by peace? Do I party 24/7 there? I have business to do. And in case you don't want to live with me, you have all the other houses but at least stay somewhere I can reach."

Jungkook rolled his eyes at his father's words.

"Now facetime me immediately, I want to see you."

"No dad."

"Why not?"

"Because I don't want to see you." With this Jungkook cut the call and his father started face timing him, frustrating Jungkook more and more that he turned his phone off then.

Jungkook was still not ready to tell his father that he was actually dating his ex, the event of that night didn't leave his head.

~♡~

Jungkook was frustrated as hell and when he is frustrated he does only one thing, smoke cigarettes to get his mind off things.

Jungkook sighed as he walked on his balcony, lighting the tip of his cigarette with the lighter as he started burning his lungs while looking at the starry sky.

He hadn't smoked in a while but his father gave him a reason to. He wished things could not be this complicated.

The other hand, Taehyung was still wondering about Jungkook and had stress for the upcoming seminar on his head. He had a headache so he decided to get himself a cup of strong coffee.

With this Taehyung walked on his balcony, trying to get some fresh air but his nostrils were only hit by burning smoke of nicotine, making him scrunch his nose.

He turned his face around, just to only see Jungkook sitting on the wall and smoking a cigarette.

Taehyung gasped, finding it ridiculously frustrating. He literally had a headache thinking of this guy and he was smoking cigarettes? Wow.

"Wow, didn't expect you to ruin the air this evening." Taehyung said, making Jungkook turn his head to face him.

Jungkook was wearing a frown of frustration on his face, his sleeveless top revealing his tattooed arms and damn the way he sucked the cigarette had his jawline flexing out and when he turned to face Taehyung with a grin appearing on his lips had Taehyung taking a step back.

"Oh well, hello there." Jungkook said, walking closer and leaning against the grill as he watched Taehyung.

"Keep that stuff away, it's making me… hard to breathe." Taehyung pointed to his cigarette, coughing a little.

"Oh this, this is called a cigarette." Jungkook said and Taehyung knitted his eyebrows.

"I know and I also know that this is nothing but a free ticket to lessen six hours of your life and that we should not do this."

"Aww you care…" Jungkook teased, wiggling his eyebrows at the cute guy.

"Shut the fuck up, I don't care but stop smoking it on your balcony. You're ruining the air for me. And why the hell are you even smoking it?"

"It's because I'm frustrated and it helps me get relieved."

"And why are you frustrated?"

"Because someone gave me a hard time last night." He whispered, pointing to Taehyung who rolled his eyes.

"Don't you have other ways to get relief?"

"I had, I just used to meditate but now I can't for some time." Jungkook said, teasingly glaring at the other one who had his mouth agape in disbelief.

"You are seriously unbelievable." Taehyung chuckled bitterly and saw how Jungkook dropped the cigarette on the floor and crushed it with his foot.

"So you're not frustrated anymore?" Taehyung asked as he noticed how Jungkook fused it.

"Yes, I'm not anymore."

"And why is that so?"

"Because I got to see your pretty face."

Taehyung froze in his place, a blush appearing on his cheeks. Jungkook locked his intense gaze with him, eyes roaming on his face with a slight glisten in them.

"And in case you're worried. I'm fine now." Jungkook said and with this he walked into his house through the casement, leaving Taehyung to have an internal panic attack.

Taehyung blinked several times, touching his face with one free hand as he wondered what just happened.

"You're not falling for it… okay?"

Well, the heart wants what it wants.
