AS IM skipping back to the harem with happiness beaming off of me from just coming back from visiting Ahmed not paying attention to anything just too happy I accidentally bump into Kosem.

I take a deep breath in and mutter a quick 'sorry' and I try to walk away from her not wanting any fights but she pulls my arm stopping me in my tracks.

She smirks and lets go of my arm roughly, she takes a step closer to me and tucks my hair behind my ear. leaning in she takes a deep breath in, "I don't know what lies your telling the sultan to make him like you but I will find out and put an end to your foolish tricks!" She whisper-shouts in my ear.

I sigh and push Kosem away from me scoffing into a chuckle.

"Touch me again, and I'll put an end to your life, you idiot! And besides—" I step closer to her and softly pat her cheek, "Sultan Ahmed is infatuated with me, and I love him, so anything you say can't break us apart, " I smirk softly removing my hand from her cheek.

Kosem growls and pushes me to the ground making me hit my head, she climbs on top of my punching my face.

My vision starts to get blurry as I hear shouts and I feel Kosem getting pulled off my body.

All of sudden everything goes black...

My eyes flutter open and I see Cennet Kalfa, Handan Sultan, and the Sultan standing close talking.

"A-A, " I attempt I say something my throat hurts too much, "Ahmed–" my voice croaks, Cennet Kalfa looks at me and her eyes widen.

"Thank Allah!" She says happily pointing to me making Ahmed rush over to my side kissing my forehead.

I tap my throat gently, giving a sign that I need water.

Cennet Kalfa is quick to bring me some water.

I try my best to smile but my face hurts too much and I barely remember what happened, well —other than Kosem being an annoying pest again.

"Thank Allah that you are okay Zeynep, " Handan Sultan says but I can tell her smile is fake, she adores Kosem and Mahfiruz and prefers either one of them with Ahmed more than myself.

I ignore Handan Sultan and I look over to my Ahmed to see him with a half-smile on his face.

"It had felt as if the sun would never set without you, I missed your laughs and your sweet voice, " Ahmed says softly while stroking my hair.

I smile, "w-what happened?" I ask clearing my hurting throat, Ahmed's eyes widen, "you do remember?" He asks.

I shake my head no and Cennet Kalfa lets out a sad sigh.

"For starters, Kosem had attacked you, and I was the one to find out and call for help, " Cennet Kalfa explains.

The memories start rushing back and I suddenly remember it all, "well with anything happen to Kosem? Will she be sent away?" I ask in a serious tone looking at Ahmed.

Ahmed nods, "After she gives birth she shall be sent away to the old palace where she will live the rest of her days, " Ahmeds explain making me smile with joy.

Handan Sultan notices my smile and sends me a hateful glare but with a smirk on her face as if she knows something...

I decided to ignore her once more and continue to look at Ahmed but he looks sad all of a sudden.

"Ahmed are you alright? Did something else happen?" I ask confused, Ahmed looks at me with tears on the edge of his eyes.

"My Zeynep..." He strokes my cheek softly, "it's been two weeks–" he admits making me gasp, "that long!" I say shakenly — how is that even possible?

"And when you were examined by the physician, it was revealed that you were pregnant but–" Ahmed stops to breathe looking at me on the verge of breaking down and crying.

I look at Cennet and I see her on the verge of crying as well, "My sultan? I'm pregnant?" I ask with a little happiness in me but still confused why everyone is so sad! It's something that we should celebrate!

"Zeynep you were unlucky and lost the baby, " Handan Sultan blurts out with a very noticeable smirk.

My eyes snap to her and for a moment I swear only to see the huge smirk on her face. My happiness dies down, and even I begin to tear up feeling all my happiness drain out of me slowly.

"W-what?, " I say trying to hold back my tears, I move my hand to my belly, "I was pregnant?" I look at Ahmed but he doesn't dare to look me in the eyes.

"I did not know, I would have taken better care of myself, or did something to–" I say through the tears that are falling down my face.

"But you didn't, " Handan Sultana speaks up in a mocking tone.

"And now a child of the Ottoman dynasty is dead, all because of you–" she says making me angry, putting all the blame on me like I didn't get attacked by Kösem.

"Valide!" Ahmed raises his voice at his mother, Handan takes that as a sign to leave the room still looking happy that I'm lost my baby. Her grandchild.

Ahmed focuses his attention on me with a tear falling down his cheek. "You did nothing wrong Zeynep, and don't worry we will have many more children, " he says trying to comfort my pain.

"That's not the point Ahmed!" I say through my tears, "I had a child in me and I will never, get to hold that child in my hands!" I wipe my tears away, "I want to be left alone because I don't mean to be disrespectful to your Majesty..." I look down at my childless belly.

"Please, " I say with tears falling down my face, Ahmed nods and kisses my forehead before getting up and leaving my chambers.

Cennet Kalfa clears her throat gaining my attention instantly. "I should leave–" she says but I cut her off with my sobs.

"Please don't leave me Cennet, I know it is improper and against many rules but I have no one right now, and the sultan doesn't understand my pain, " I sob, "and he never will, " I say sadly with tears.

Cennet Kalfa sucks her teeth, "you tell anyone about this and I'll cut your tongue off, " she in a serious tone.
I nod my head quickly just needing some comfort from someone other than Ahmed.

Cennet Kalfa climbs into bed next to me and holds me tightly, "You are going to be a great Sultana, " she whispers into my ear making me smile just a bit.

"I'll destroy Kösem and make sure she bows to me, I can promise that Cennet Kalfa, " I say taking a deep breath in.
