Auria's POV

“Zaiden let me be, its just the bathroom” I complain and he pouts walking out, we're supposed to be going on a date and its already late but he's still taking up time being all over me when I'm supposed to be showering.

He's such a needy person all the time. I strip from my clothes putting it in the hamper and stepping into the shower turning it on and on cold. I got a soothing shower and soon getting out doing my hygiene practice then doing my hair in two messy french braids.

Walking out into the room I got to the vanity doing some light makeup because if there's one thing I've learn't is that Zaiden is always gonna go to some fancy ass rich people restaurant so I'd better look my best as there's gonna be paparazzi everywhere which I've gotten use to and we actually spoke to them a few time and it was absolutely fun.

Zaiden was staring at his phone with a towel hanging lowly around his waist his V line on display to my eyes but I let him be. Walking to the closet getting on a coffee brown Victoria secret lingerie then a tan brown knee length dress with a slit and getting a coat in that same color pairing it with white shoes.

I grab a black channel purse walking out as he went in to change. I got my phone some lip gloss, my cards and some gum in there and sat waiting for Zaiden to finish up I honestly don't know what was taking him this long to get changed and he's not a female.

Soon after he walks out fully dressed wearing a tan brown suit with a black dress shirt, brown tie and black shoes making me smile I just love it when we match in just the slightest way don't judge me it's cute.

“Ready to go?” he asks walking toward me soon placing his hands on my hips “yup” I say popping the p and he smiles kissing me lightly before going to kiss my growing baby bump cutely.

He got his phone and wallet and whatever else he needed taking my hand and leading me out the door going downstairs and to the front door which he got opened for me and there was the three cars I was used to powered up and ready to take us to our destination.

I got in with Zaiden's help and he walks to the other side getting in as Elijah greeted us and soon we were on our way to whatever restaurant Zaiden had in mind for our date tonight.

Upon arriving it was just as I thought of course there was paparazzi here; there always are. This restaurant was new it's called Nouveau Picnic, I've never been here before so this'll be fun I guess.

“You ready?” Zaiden ask and I nod confidently smiling at him. He got out and the cameras instantly started flashing as he got my door open giving me his hand that I took getting out of the car seeing Sawyer standing there looking emotionless as always.

I lock my hand in Zaiden's that was in his pocket and we begin walking up the fe steps that leads to the entrance of the restaurant.

“Y'all are matching that's so cute” someone said and I had to agree because it was. Zaiden smiled down at me with a knowing look and I nod as he stop looking at the persons smugly while the flashes came nonstop.

“When are you guys getting married?” came a question which kinda took me back “whenever that date is decided I'll make sure to give you a call” Zaiden says calmly with a smirk.

“What's the gender of the baby”  came another one which I answer to this time round “well we would like to keep that private for now” I say politely with a smile.

“Okay... That's all” Zaiden said and I smile walking with him to the door and Sawyer got it open for us and we walk in with him following us.

We were escorted to our table as soon as we got in which was nice as I didn't want to be standing any longer. Zaiden pulled my chair out for me and I sit as he did the same across from me. It took less than a minute for a waitress to walk up to us, Zaiden ordered wine and I just got a non-alcohol pineapple spritzer.

She came back minutes after with our drinks and took our orders for our meals Zaiden got Stuffed chicken breast with spinach, cheese and sun dried tomatoes while I got a tuscan chicken skillet.

We had a bit of small talk before our food came and once it did we both dug in no questions asked.

“No never, that's ugly ” I tell him being serious I'm not bout to have people bully my child because of his name “fine what about Zachary?” he ask and I raised an eye brow at him “that's way too common” I tell him and he sighs.

“Well this is gonna be hard” he says making me laugh “it's not, your just over thinking it we have a long way to go” I tell him and he smiles nodding taking my hand in his from across the table.

“You're so beautiful ” he says and I could tell that my cheek were getting to a deeper shade of red by the second. “I can't believe I've got you all to myself, you're just perfect” he says and my cheeks were hurting from me blushing so hard, “stop...” I say shyly “why? it's the truth” he says shrugging.

“Hey... You know we should go on a vacation somewhere like Paris or Rome or Tahiti wherever you wanna go” he says happily and I had to just stare at him I've never been on an airplane before I'm not sure how well I'd take to flying, especially being pregnant.

“No wait, you know what would be fun? if we go on my yacht we could spend some days surrounded by water unless you don't want to then... ” he says making me laugh as he looks at me with a confused expression on his face. “Chill out if you wanna go, anywhere is fine with me” I tell him and he smiles kissing my left hand which held my promise ring.

“Alright I need to go to the restroom ” I tell him and he nods as I stood and he did the same “what are you doing?” I ask looking at him. “I'm coming with you” he says casually “no you're not” I tell him “then Sawyer will go with you he'll just escort you there” he says and I roll my eyes walking away not feeling like arguing.

I gave him a peck on the lips and left walking to the direction of the restroom with Sawyer behind me. Once we got to the door with the little female icon thingy he got the door opened for me and I walked in after thanking him.

I got in walking and checking the stalls and no one was in here so I hurriedly did my business and flushed walking out to wash my hands as someone walks in but I wasn't paying too much attention to them as I wanted to hurry and get back to Zaiden.

I got paper towels and dried my hands turning to walk out before a figure came blocking my path. My eyes trail from her mid stomach area and once I got to her face I stood frozen in place.

“Well we meet again” she says with a knowing look on her face and I couldn't find my words to speak. “Cat got your tongue whore!” she spat making me jump as my heart beat went on a rodeo going miles per hour.

“See this is payback, you are to cost of everything that's bad you bitch! It's all because of you I don't have him anymore... You fucking ruined my life and as for you, you shouldn't have happiness when you took mine away from me” she says making me shake from fear at her venomous words that was cutting through my heart like a sharp blade.

To say I am scared is a freaking understatement I feel like my heart could honestly give in any moment now, she was so close to me and I was agitated and panicing. She was staring at me like a fucking psychopath and I wanted to run for my life but where would I run to she was standing in front of me and I didn't want to make the wrong move.

She pulls a syringe from her purse and I immediately cower stepping backwards trying to get as far away from her as possible. “P-Please don't that'll h-hurt my baby” I say my voice low and shaky as I cry my tears welcoming themselves to whatever this was.

“Ohh... Now that's all the more fun I get to kill both you and your fucking bastard of a child” she says and I wrap my arms around my bump protectively. “P-Please s-stop” I beg as my back hits the wall and she laughs maniacingly grabbing my hair as I tried to push her away. She raised her arms and with all the little effort I was making to stop her I soon felt the stinging sensation in my neck as she pulls it out and I slap my hand over where she just injected me. “fucking die already!” she spat walking out.

I felt my eyes falling shut and my head was pulsating and I used all the strength I had to help myself up. I use the sink as support to walk as I couldn't see from my blurried vision, my body was slowly falling weak but I thankfully made it to the door and got it open. I walk out to see a blurry Sawyer leaning against the wall. “Sawyer...” I mumble as I felt my eyes slowly closing, “Ari, what the hell” Sawyer says rushing to me. “I'm so sorry I couldn't protect you baby” I say with my hands on my stomach as I felt my body fall limp and my eyes finally went dark.
