Auria’s POV

“Can you give him a break already Zaiden He's sleeping” I tell him as he has been so clingy with Nasir since he was born even me, I'm his mother and he's even skeptical about me holding him I'm starting to think I have two babies instead of one. Nasir is only one week old and I can count on my fingers how many times I've hold him.

“He's all good, he can nap right here” he says holding him to his chest and rocking him gently making me roll my eyes. I went back to looking at my laptop as I needed to choose a venue for the reception to take place at but I was indecisive and of course Zaiden wasn't of any help. Whenever I can't choose something and I ask him, his advice is ‘choose the most expensive one, it's usually the best’ I don't know how I even stand him being annoying all the time.

The invitations were to be finished up and once I figure out the venue I'll get that over with so I can send them out and then I'm gonna need to get the seating arrangement done. I literally have three months and I only have so much done already, my dress was to be send here from Paris next month and I'm so excited about that. Dominic and the others couldn't make it to the wedding so they we're making me my dress as a present which I still insist on paying for but that's something I'm looking forward to.

However, what is even more exciting though is my cake I'm making it on my own and that's what I'm gonna do for my before the rehersal dinner since I'm a mom now and I'm gonna have lots of help and it'll be more fun doing this with my friends plus we can spend time together.

So far we only have up to 30 people attending since Zaiden was being annoying about the whole guest list so we only literally have family and close, close friends coming.

I checked the time to see it was 11am and the girls and my precious Jace were to arrive soon for their dress and suit fitting and I was even stressed about that. There was Zalia of course who was my maid of honor obviously because I'm still alive, there was Jace also who was my bridesman then Jasmin who is Asher's sister and Brooklyn who is Haley's daughter that I didn't get to meet until Nathan's birthday and they're both super nice Jasmin is just as energetic as Zalia but Brooklyn is a bit more reserve though I don't know how she manages to be like that even when she's around Almighty Zalia. There was also Julia which I asked to be apart of my bridal part since she is Asher's girlfriend and he's after all Zaiden's best man.

I already have so much to do in just three months but I'm gonna make it work. I got through as much of the venues that I could and soon an idea pop into my head.

“Zaiden?” I asked turning to look to my side but he wasn't here making me look blankly confused. I didn't see him move or is it that I was far in thought. I set the laptop down and headed upstairs as I thought he must've went to put Nasir down for his nap.

I checked Nasir's room first but neither of them was there, so I went to our bed room quietly pushing the door open just in case. I walk in to find them both laying in bed sound asleep making me smile, I got my phone getting multiple pictures of them before check the time once more to see I only have a little under an hour until my bridesmaids and man arrives.

I grab some clothes from the closet and rush to the bathroom to get a quick shower so I could be more relaxed. Once I got finish with showering I brush my hair out that has gotten so much more longer since I last free handedly cut it. I got dressed in the clothes I got which was a simple sweatsuit and white socks the sweat shirt was cropped and I'm so glad I can wear these types of clothes again without getting uncomfortable or annoyed.

Once I got dressed I decided to go get snacks for them set up in  my little room that I got set up when I was designing Nasir's room. I just come here to relax or work and to hide from Zaiden's clingy hands. I got a variety of different chips, candy, donuts, cupcakes, juice, tea and also coffee since Zalia has an addiction which she definitely needs help with.

I got my laptop from the living room and was about to head back upstairs before the door bell rings so I head towards it instead. Once I got the door open both Zalia and Jasmin were the first to lounge at me “you guys keep it down Nasir and Zaiden are sleeping” I tell them in a warning tone making them put their fingers on their lips like children.

I invited them in and led them to the room where they can make as much noise as they would like since the room was on the first floor and far away from where Zaiden was and a plus is that all the rooms are sound proof.

“Alright, so I got the dresses in different colors I'll give you guys the choice to settle on that and I got the same suits for Jace ” I say happily pointing to the clothing rack that everthing was hanging from. “Should we vote on the colors ” Julia asks and everyone agreed.

Once they finish deciding they chose to go with burgundy which I love it's totally cute and I already have ideas popping up in my head.

Zalia was first to go fit hers and since they all got different designs it was all easy and not at all too complicated to choose just one. Once she got out twriling, smiling and just being Zalia everyone approved and so did I as the dress looks so gorgeous on her and it's literally the perfect size.

After everyone got fitted and was satisfied, Zalia of course went ahead to get coffee as the others just got snacks. Today has been such an eventful and fun day and I'm so happy I have these wonderful people in my life and who are willing to share this experience with me.

“So I got y'all a little gift” I announce and Zalia and Jasmin claps their hands like children and I went to get them each the box with their names on it which is so pretty and of course it is because I personally customize them. Once everyone got a box they went ahead opening it to what I got them “you did not ” Zalia says gasping as I got her the new coco chenel skin care line that I know she wanted since she's my best friend and she rants a lot. “Open yours” I say eagerly to Jace and he looks at me suspiciously. “Gucci!?” he says almost shouting, and yes Jace has a fucking obsession with that brand I swear his entire closet is a collection of Gucci but there was one thing he didn't have and I decided to get it for him though it was a simple bag it still cost me almost fifteen hundred dollars but he's worth it.

I got the other girls Dior skincare which I personalize to what I think they'll like and just to put the icing on the cake I got us all custom robes for the bachelorette which thank god they like since I kinda went out on a limb to get on such short notice.

A knock came from the door and I set my cup of tea down before going to get it open to see it was Zaiden holding a very much awake Nasir in his arms and Andrew standing behind him. “May we come in?” he asked and I nod taking my son into my arms.

Once I got him I turn and walk in and they followed, I took my seat on the couch once more  as Zaiden did the same beside me and Andrew went to a child looking Jace. I swear I don't know with these two but I love both of them so much even though Andrew has been spending way too much time around Ezric they have become so close more like brothers now and when both of them are together I try my best to stay far away.

“He's gotten so big since I last saw him” Brooklyn said “we were here four days ago” Julia says and she waved her off making us laugh. “You guys make me want to have a baby” Jace says pouting and I smile at him “you can have Zaiden he's only like 4 months old” I tell them laugh as Zaiden looks at me blankly before rolling his eyes.

I went back to looking at my little guy in my arms while everyone around me was having small conversation with each other and with me just staring into his tiny green grey eyes I wanted nothing more than what I see in them each time they holds me captive. There's so much love and peace situated in his eyes I just never want it to be any other way.

I want him to have the perfect life where everyone around him lives in harmony so he'll never have to experience grief. I want him to see nothing but comfort whenever he should look at us just as he does now and I will make sure he knows that he's awesome and that we cherish him because he's my literal soul in human form. I will make it a goal so he will never have to wonder if his environment is good enough, and I will make it my point of duty to make sure he knows that he is loved and most definitely that he's worth it.
