She looked so beautiful.

Xavier peered down at Aurora as she slept peacefully with her head laying on his chest, snuggling in further into his warmth. She slept with her mouth slightly open, the occasional soft snore escaping. Her long hair had gotten tangled throughout the night since she moved around quite a bit in her sleep.

But even then he thought she was beautiful.

They were in his childhood bedroom, where Xavier had taken Aurora after the bonfire with his family. Aurora had been fascinated as she looked around the room that was filled with his memories. She looked at the picture frames scattered around the room, noticing how even when he was younger, Xavier was still very handsome.

She gasped when she saw that he had a balcony—it had been her childhood dream to have one.

"You have a balcony?" She excitedly ran towards the doors that led outside onto a modern-looking balcony that oversaw the beautiful garden below. "I've always dreamed of having one as a little girl because of Troy Bolton."

Xavier made his way towards her with an unreadable expression on his face. It was a mixture of confusion and disbelief. "Who's Troy Bolton?"

She let out a gasp of incredulity.

"You don't know who Troy Bolton is?"

Xavier shook his head.

Another gasp.

"How can you not know who Troy is?" Aurora shook her head disappointedly.

"How would I know who he is?" Grumbled Xavier with a hint of jealousy laced in his voice. Once he found out who this 'Troy Bolton' was, he was going to pay him a little visit because his girlfriend was apparently very fixated with the guy.

"From High School Musical?" She was in disbelief as Xavier continued to look at her with a confused expression on his face. "You know that movie about high school and musicals?"

His face was still blank. He had no idea what she was talking about.

"Sweetheart, I have no idea what you're talking about, so can you just tell me where I can find this Troy Bolton—so I can kick his ass."

She missed the last part since he had mumbled it under his breath.

Aurora sighed dramatically. "That's it—we're having a movie marathon tonight."

And much to his dismay, Xavier became very acquainted with Troy Bolton. He grumbled his distaste, voicing how stupid he thought the movies were.

"This isn't even how high school works in real life," he had said. "You don't find people dancing and singing in the middle of the cafeteria."

"Oh shush," She brought her hand up to cover his nonstop commentary. He could be especially talkative when he wanted to be. "It's just a movie."

Xavier continued to complain, holding onto Aurora's hand so she couldn't cover his mouth. It wasn't until she threatened him that he immediately shut up.

"If you don't stop talking, I won't let you touch me until tomorrow."

Xavier looked at his girlfriend with disbelief. All because of some stupid movie and a stupid Troy Bolton. Xavier honestly didn't know what girls saw in him.

"No kisses either!"

And thus, he kept his mouth shut with a slight pout for the next 3 hours— all while Aurora happily watched and sang along with the movies. How she knew all the lyrics to every single song was beyond him.

Xavier wasn't surprised to find Aurora cuddled up next to him, softly snoring when the credits of the last movie started rolling up. He gently tucked her in, wrapping her in his embrace with a soft smile on his face. She must've tired herself out with all the singing.

Even now, they were still cuddled up next to each other in bed as Aurora continued to sleep. Since he had always been an early riser, he had woken up at 8 with Aurora's cold feet keeping warm in between his legs. He stayed in bed, content with just holding her.

Xavier brushed the hair out of her face and proceeded to run his fingers through her hair lightly. He still found it unimaginable that he was able to wake up next to a beautiful woman who he could call his.

Aurora let out a small incoherent grumble, causing him to halt in his movements. Slowly, her eyes opened slightly, and immediately she was greeted with a pair of beautiful grey eyes staring down at her.

"Hi, sweetheart," Xavier greeted. His arm rested on her waist, rubbing soothing circles on her bare waist where her shirt had risen.

"Good morning," She murmured, snuggling in closer to Xavier. The air was cold around them, but she was completely warm and comfortable in his embrace.

"I think it's time to get up, sweetheart."

"Five more minutes."

He gave in, seeing how cute Aurora looked when she was sleepy. Sleepy Aurora was definitely one of his favorites. "As you wish, love."

He chuckled when Aurora mumbled incoherent words—the rumble of his chest not even fazing her.

Sighing in content, Aurora slowly began to drift into a deep slumber. Xavier's right hand continued to rub circles on her waist while his other hand ran through her hair.

He definitely let her have more than five more minutes.

Xavier and Aurora stumbled into the kitchen laughing at something he had said. Isabella stood in the kitchen cooking dinner, glancing at the happy couple as they entered.

"It smells amazing in here Isabella," The delicious aroma was filling up the kitchen. Xavier had his arms around her waist as she leaned forward to see what Isabella was making. "Do you need any help?"

Immediately, Xavier's arm tightened, making her look up with confusion. His head tilted, silently questioning her if this was a good idea. She rolled her eyes, nudging his side.

"Thank you, dear," Isabella gave Aurora a warm smile. "Help would be very much appreciated, especially since I have so many mouths to feed."

At that moment, Alexander walked into the room, beckoning Xavier to him.

"Walk with me, son."

Xavier nodded before placing a kiss onto Aurora's lips. "I'll be back soon, love. Behave."

"I'll be fine," Aurora squeezed his hand gently before jokingly adding. "It's not like I'll burn the kitchen down."

Xavier gave her a stern look, causing her to push and shoo him away. Turning around, she gave Isabella an excited smile and proceeded to ask Isabella what she should do. Isabella gave her the task of mashing the potatoes.

"Aurora, I want to thank you," Isabella spoke up causing Aurora to pause in her position and glance at the older woman.

Aurora tilted her head in confusion. "For what? I haven't even started mashing the potatoes yet."

Isabella chuckled. "I meant, I want to thank you for loving and caring for Xavier. I haven't seen my boy this happy in years. I was starting to get worried he would end up as a lonely workaholic for the rest of his life."

Her mouth formed an 'O' as she realized what Isabella meant. "If anything, Xavier is the one to thank—he's the one caring for me. I should be thanking you for raising such a wonderful son."

"Oh, you give me too much credit, dear," Isabella said bashfully. "I'm just glad all 6 of them turned out alright."

"When Xavier told me he had 5 other siblings, I was really shocked," chuckled Aurora. "You're an amazing woman, Isabella—having to raise them all. I can't even imagine how it is having 6 children."

"Well, when you're a mother yourself, your kids become your entire world. No matter how difficult and tiring it gets, when you look at them, you're fatigue just disappears," Isabella smiled before asking Aurora. "Do you want to have kids?"

Aurora had to pause and think. "I think I do. I mean, I don't know if I'll be a good mother, but I definitely want to experience the joy of being a mom."

"I think you'll be a great mother," Reassured Isabella, giving Aurora a small encouraging squeeze. "You're such a natural with Colton."

Colton had taken a quick liking to Aurora. He was basically glued to her side, sitting on her lap as she conversed with others. He would hug her and play with her long hair. Xavier even got a little jealous of his nephew when the toddler was getting all of her attention. That night, he wouldn't stop pouting until she kissed him repeatedly to make up for the loss of attention.

A wide smile spread on Aurora's face. "That kid is just too cute."

"Did someone say cute?"

Elijah walked in with Maddie trailing in after him. He had a smug smirk on his face, a trait that all of the Knight brothers shared, as he sauntered into the kitchen with his hands in his pockets.

"Damn, babe," he whistled. "Beautiful and a cook? My heart can't take it anymore."

Maddie let out an annoyed sigh, whacking the back of his head. She lost count of how many times she's done that these past few days. "Can you not hit on my taken best friend right in front of me. You've been doing it all weekend."

"I can't help that I'm attracted to such a beautiful goddess," He continued. Maddie rolled her eyes as Isabella laughed at her cheeky son's antics.

Aurora shook her head with disbelief as she seasoned the potatoes.

"She's 7 years older than you," Maddie argued. "And might I also remind you that she's taken—by your older brother who won't hesitate to beat your ass."

"You know what they say, age is just a number."

Maddie deadpanned as both Aurora and Isabella continued to watch with amusement. She wanted to bang her head against the counter. "Just wait until Xavier's had enough of your shit and he finally dropkicks you all the way to grandma's house."

"He loves me way too much to do that," shrugged Elijah before turning to give Aurora a wink. "Now, tell me beautiful. Did it hurt—when you fell from heaven?"

Maddie shuddered in disgust as Isabella burst into laughter. Elijah was definitely the cheekiest out of all the Knight siblings. Even Aurora cringed, scrunching her face as a shiver went down her spine. She felt the desperate need to punch something.

"I leave for 10 minutes and you're already hitting on her," Xavier walked back into the room with Alexander following in after his son. Alexander made his way to his wife and immediately attached himself to Isabella. "With your horrendous pickup lines."

"Hey," Elijah protested. "I'll have you know—my pickup lines are what attracts the ladies."

Xavier glared at his brother as he took his place next to Aurora. Leaning down, he whispered not so quietly into her ear.

"Just say the word, and I can make him disappear."

"I second that," muttered Maddie in agreement.

Elijah let out a dramatic gasp. "But I'm your favorite brother."

"You're just asking for it at this point," grumbled Xavier, as Elijah continued to whine. Sneakily, he took a bite of the potato and plopped it into his mouth. "Not bad, love. You didn't burn anything this time."

"I think I'm capable of mashing some potatoes, babe," Aurora scrunched her face, flicking his nose with disdain. He chuckled and buried his nose into her shoulder.

"Remember that time when you almost blew up our apartment using the microwave?" Maddie suddenly spoke, causing everyone to direct their focus onto Aurora. This was completely unnecessary.

Aurora glared at her best friend, throwing a napkin at a cackling Maddie. "I thought we promised to never mention that ever again."

"Damn, and she's a scientist?" Elijah leaned forward on the counter with his head rested on his hands. "What a babe."

"Stop calling my girlfriend babe!" Xavier looked up to shoot Elijah with a glare that normally would scare people, but Elijah was seemingly immune to his brother.

"I'm not scared of you," shrugged Elijah, trying his best to piss his brother off. And knowing how possessive Xavier was made him want to see how far he could push.

Xavier groaned, burying his face back into Aurora's shoulder, breathing in her sweet scent to calm him down. "Just say the word, love. One word and he's gone."

Elijah pouted and looked at Aurora with sorrow. "You're going to let him do that to me?"

Aurora looked back and forth between her boyfriend and then back to Elijah with perplex. Xavier nuzzled into her neck and she knew she couldn't resist him.

"Sorry, Elijah," Aurora gave Elijah an apologetic smile as she felt Xavier smile against her shoulder. He placed a kiss on her neck, looking up at Elijah with a victorious smirk.

All while Elijah looked like a kid who's candy got stolen.

"No one will find your body," Xavier taunted, stalking forward towards Elijah. Elijah's eyes widened in panic as he slowly backed away, pushing Maddie in front of him to block Xavier. Maddie grumbled in annoyance as she was being used as a human shield.

Elijah quickly pushed Maddie forward, giving him time to run to the other side of the vast kitchen. This caused Maddie to stumble into her older brother. Gently, Xavier moved Maddie out of the way and began to chase Elijah around the kitchen.

"I'm sorry! It was just a joke!"

"It better be, or else you would be really dead."

Alexander and Isabella shook their heads as they watched with amusement when Xavier captured Elijah in his arm by the neck. Maddie walked over to Aurora and soon they were engrossed in a conversation about the latest gossip, both not paying any attention to the boys.

"Ma, control your son!"
