Taehyung's father clapped his hands together and smiled, "Yes, he is quite the young man, isn't he?"

Taehyung just stared at his father like he was crazy and Jungkook adopted a huge grin.

"Jungkook, can I speak with you out in the hall?" Taehyung asked, even though it wasn't up for debate.

Jungkook's grin got even bigger, if that was even possible, "Of course, sir."

Jungkook got up and followed Taehyung into the narrow hallway, noticing how cold the hardwood floor was on his bare feet. (A/N: anyone here got that foot fetish? (; )

Taehyung's father had told him that if he ever forgot to take his shoes off before entering the large house, he would castrate him.

Jungkook wasn't completely sure what that meant, but he knew it didn't sound good.

"Who do you think you are?" Taehyung glared at Jungkook, trying to look intimidating.

Jungkook just thought it was cute.

"I'm Jungkook. Your new butler that you secretly think is very good looking," the younger said, with a toothy smile.

Taehyung tried to fight off the smile forming on his cheeks, but was unsuccessful.

"What's funny?" Jungkook just watched the older with furrowed brows.

"Nothing. It's just that you look like a bunny when you smile."

"A cute bunny?" Jungkook asked with hopeful eyes.

"I guess you could say that," The older shrugged.

Jungkook put his hand over his heart, "Ouch."

"Listen, don't go around saying things like that to my father. I mean, why did you feel like you had to tell him that you find me attractive?"

Jungkook was silent, giving the other's question some thought.

Finally, "I just answered with the truth. The first thing that came to mind."

Taehyung let out a deep breath, "Well, don't. I don't want my father getting any ideas."

"Ideas like what?" Jungkook questioned as he looked around the hallway.

"You're not even paying attention. Pay attention to me," The older huffed and crossed his arms.

"Trust me, you always have my attention," Jungkook breathed out as he took a step closer to Taehyung, their faces inches apart.

Taehyung went to take a step back, but his hand hit a wall, making him realize he had nowhere to go.

"You don't even know me, quit being creepy," Taehyung put his hand on Jungkook's chest to stop him from getting any closer, "And as I was saying, I don't want my dad to think that something could happen between us. He is always trying to set me up with people and I don't want him to start doing it with you too."

Jungkook looked off into space for a moment, then back at Taehyung, "Well, what if I end up wanting something to happen between us?"

"You will have to get over it. I will never want to be with someone like you," Taehyung stated, with a confidence that took a toll on Jungkook's ego.

"Oh. Alright then. I completely understand," Jungkook shook his head and took a step back, away from the older.

Taehyung noticed his mistake and instantly felt bad. He just didn't want to get hurt again like his last relationship. What a fluke that was. He had to be careful because of the attraction he felt towards Jungkook, even though he was constantly trying to deny it.

"Hey, don't think too hard about what I just said or take it to heart. I didn't mean for it to come out that way."

"It's whatever," Jungkook mumbled.

Taehyung eyed the younger and let out a deep breath, "Okay then."

Hearing a door open, the two boys looked over to see Taehyung's father standing there with a smirk on his face, "Just thought I'd let you guys know that dinner is over. I'll see you in the morning when it's time for Jin to head to the airport. Goodnight."

"Goodnight," Taehyung and Jungkook said in unison. Taehyung's father looked back and forth at the two boys and smiled, before walking down the hall.

"Well, I'll see you in the morning. I need you up at eight o'clock sharp. I'm going out for breakfast and a little shopping. Wear something casual. Goodnight," Taehyung said as he gave the younger a small smile and walked around him to get to his room.

Jungkook sighed. He was still a little disappointed at Taehyung's earlier statement, but he figured he would feel better after some sleep, so he made his way to room.

On the way, he passed Jin and he pulled Jungkook to the side.

"I just wanted to let you know, when Taehyung says a little shopping, It's not actually a little. So be prepared," Jin chucked.

Jungkook smiled and thanked Jin for the heads up. Then continued to head to his room. He figured he needed to have a lot of energy for tomorrow so he had no problem falling asleep.

Little did he know, his dreams would be about a certain box smile.

SO HERE'S CHAPTER 3 AFTER A LOT OF PROCRASTINATION ON MY PART. ╹◡╹)♡
