^^The group's kids

It's been quite a while since everything had happened, and you all were doing pretty good. A good amount of the group had bought a house and moved out of the apartment complex.

Two wedding happened in that time, and that was Maki and Kaito, and Tenko and Himiko.

While there was a lot to worry about in adulthood, nothing could ever worry you more than that killing game. Actually... maybe one.

"Raven, give your brother his book back." You took the book and gave it back to Griffin with a sigh. "Griffin, why don't you go to Genesis' room?" He nodded and walked off, letting you give one of your good old "I love you, but remember that I slaughtered over 50 exisals in the span of a week by myself when I was 16" glares to Raven.

"Y/N!" You looked beside the couch and saw Lilith and Lily standing next to the arm rest. "Can you peel us oranges?" Lily asked. You nodded and stood up, making your way to the kitchen.

As you peeled an orange for the two of them, Emilia pulled on the bottom of your shirt, making you looked down. "C-Can I have an orange, too?" Before you could begin peeling another orange, Emilia stopped you. "I.. can do it."

"Alright, go ahead." You placed the unpeeled orange in her palm and gave Lilith and Lily the peeled one. "Raven, if Emilia has trouble, help her- and, that's a no." You grabbed the backs of Oren and Aila's shirts and pulled them apart.

"Oren, what did you do?"

"He tried ripping Teacupp!!"

Teacup? You looked in Oren's hand and saw Aila's stuffed bunny clutched in his right hand. "Oren, pass me the bunny."

There was a knock on the door and you let go of the back of their shirts. "Oren, give Aila her stuffed bunny back or I'll tell your mom-! Hey, Hajime."

Hajime chuckled awkwardly. "It seems like you're having a bit of trouble with all the kids in your house?"

"Oh, not at all, it's just a little problem with sharing toys- and Oren I still haven't heard an apology! Anyways, are you here to pick up Tsuru?" Hajime nodded. "You... really are cut out for this whole parenting thing, aren't you?"

"I wouldn't say so, I just-" You quickly grabbed Oren before he could run out the door and lifted him into your arms. "-know what to do when I need to. And you, will stop trying to jump into the front yard fountain, or your mom will send you flying."

"Right..." Hajime scratched the back of his head. "S-So is Tsuru upstairs?"

"Yep, just a second. TSURU!!" She quickly came running and stood next to you. "Hey dad." She greeted, waving to Hajime. "Wow, she doesn't respond that quickly when I call to her." Hajime scooped her up. "Nagito said that she is a lot like Kokichi."

"Yeah, I guess--"

"(INSERT PARENTAL NAME), GET RAVEN OUT OF MY ROOM!!"

"Coming! Sorry, Genesis really doesn't like it when Raven's in her room. See you on that double date, yeah?" Hajime nodded and left with Tsuru in hand.

You smiled and waved before shutting the door and running up the stairs. "RAVEN, GET OUT OF YOUR SISTER'S ROOM!!"

.

With Raven and Oren asleep on the couch, you wondered if you had subconsciously drugged them. They weren't annoying, but they definitely were a handful. In any case, the only kids that weren't sleeping were Griffin, Genesis, and Emilia, so you had some time to relax.

There was another knock on the door and when you went over to open it, Maki was standing in the doorway. "Oren wasn't too troublesome, I trust?"

"...In a sense..."

She sighed. "Whatever, he'll learn his lesson. Kokichi said he was doing a big group up this weekend, apparently." You nodded, leaning on the doorway. "It's not particularly like him, but he did talk to me about it. Just some time to get away from the kids."

"Kaito wanted to go, so I guess it's fine."

"Will you be wearing your normal twin tails or the bun you're wearing now?" You asked with a chuckled. Maki rolled her eyes. "Alright, Y/N. I'd probably be wearing that hairclip Kaito got me when he proposed."

"Ooh, I remember that!"

"Not my favourite proposal." Kokichi sighed, with his elbow rested on the building's railing. You rolled your eyes and looked down at the bridge where Maki and Kaito were standing, you finger tracing around the walkie talkie's button.

After you pressed on it twice, fireworks erupted behind them, gaining Maki's attention, and Kaito knelt down. After a few seconds filled with Maki turning back to him, putting one hand over her mouth, and then a huge hug.

The walkie talkie in your hand made a static noise and then, "She said yes!"

You sighed, reminiscing on the moment that was so long ago. "I haven't seen you so heart-strucken in my life... well, except for the first time you looked at Kaito." Maki gently slapped your arm. "Just give me my kid, Y/N."

With a quiet chuckle, you went to the living room and got Oren, him still managing to sleep despite being lifted up. "Here you go, one troublesome child."

"You have two."

"True... wait, but Raven's..."

"I'm talking about Kokichi."

You seemed to need a moment to load before giving a half-baked laugh. "Anyways, see you this weekend?" Maki nodded and left.

"Rantaro and Kiyo said they'd be back today." You muttered to yourself. They had been on vacation for the past week, and they left their kids in your care.

There was another knock on the door, and Himiko and Tenko were standing outside.

"Hey, Y/N! Thanks for taking care of Aila on such short notice." Tenko greeted. Before you could answer, Aila came running to the front door and jumped into her mothers' arms.

"I trust you didn't do anything troublesome?" Himiko asked. Aila shook her head. "Nope!"

You chuckled. "More or less. It was more Oren in the situation. By the way, are you coming to the meet up this weekend?"

Tenko nodded. "It's been way too long since we all got to hang out!"

"See you there, then!"

And they left. The only ones you were waiting for were Rantaro and Kiyo... and of course Kokichi, but he wasn't going to pick up any kids.

You pulled out your phone and texted Rantaro

Hey, are you being held up at the airport?

Ya a little
There's a person complaining abt their bag weight at the front of the line

Oh no. Well, I hope you get home soon

Me too

You sighed and slouched on the stairs. "Hey Genesis! When did you say your date was?!"

"Uh... this Friday! Why?"

"Geez, that's just off." You muttered. "No reason! But can you take care of your siblings on Saturday?!"

"Yeah, sure!"

There was another knock on the door, but you sighed. "Babe, I know it's you, just use your key!" There was a sigh from outside and the door slowly opened. "Good evening, babe!" He skipped over to me and gave me a hug. "I missed you!"

"Alright." I looked at my phone, seeing that Rantaro sent me his location. "Rantaro and Kiyo's on their way."

About an hour later, there was a knock on the door, and you finally saw Rantaro and Kiyo. "Thanks for taking care of the kids while we were gone." Rantaro said.

"Ooh!" He handed you a souvenir, a small snow globe with a village in it.

Kiyo waved. "They weren't too much trouble, right?"

"Oh, not at all, Griffin and Archer get along really well! Lilith and Lily like doing Emilia's hair."

"That's great!"

You went to the living room and woke up Lilith, Lily, and Archer. "Your parents are here."

They came charging to the door and nearly made both Rantaro and Kiyo fall over. "Whoa, easy there!"

"Kokichi's asleep right now, but I'll tell him you say hi."

"Please do."

"Ooh, by the way, there's this big meet up this weekend. Do you know about it already?" Kiyo nodded. "We were informed of it through messages. We will be joining you."

"Great, so we've got everyone! Are you hiring a babysitter or will Genesis be taking care of all the kids?" You joked. Rantaro laughed and shook his head. "Nah, we can hire a babysitter for one day."

"Awesome! See you there!"

.

The weekend came, and you were getting ready in the washroom. "Kokichi, actually take your outfit seriously, please."

"Alright, fine!"

You walked out of the room, throwing one last knife at the target in your room, unironically with Monokuma in the centre. "Kokichi, are you ready?" You heard a loud, "Mhm" from downstairs and were on your way.

The two of you got to the car and Kokichi drove. Even after all these years, you didn't trust him behind the wheel. Especially since he looked the same age as Genesis.

You got to the restaurant and it was a bit funny to see 17 people in one table. But at the same time,  you wouldn't have it any other way.

While it wasn't too long since you've seen one another, the last time you all were in one place was probably Maki and Kaito's wedding. And that was eight years ago.

"Oh my gosh, remember when Maki would always wear her hair in those twin tails?" Kaede asked.

"Dude, since when did Kiyo wear his hair in a ponytail?" Kaito swatted at the low ponytail going around Kiyo's shoulder. "Did Rantaro teach you?"

You sipped your drink as Miu asked, "Hey, Kiyo, Rantaro, since Kiyo's so good with knots, do you guys get kinky in bed." You choked on your drink and looked away from the table that erupted with laughter.

"M-Miu..." Rantaro covered his face. "Come on..."

"Y/N, you know the juicy details about almost everyone here, are they kinky in bed?"

You inhaled sharply. "I don't know..." "LIES!!"

"I don't think I saw the top of Himiko's head until, like, her and Tenko's wedding." Kokichi teased. "HEY! Quit looking, degenerate!"

"Kokichi, I don't think you realize that you fell both first and harder." Kaito said.

You gasped. "Shuichi, remember that emo hat you used to wear?"

"Oh my gosh, don't remind me."

"I was scared to talk to you, not gonna lie."

"Real talk, Kirumi, your maid outfit was low key creepy." Kaito said. "I'm not quite  sure why that was my outfit design, but I accepted it."

"The real question is, why Ryoma would sometimes have a real cigarette, sometimes a fake one."

"Because Y/N would take it from me constantly."

"It's not good for you!"

"Angie, that art class you teach, do you tell them about Atua?"

"Of course!"

"Ooh, Y/N!" Kokichi looked over at you. "Do you have any more memories other than the ones that we've seen about us?"

You tapped your finger on your cheek. "Well... the first time I was over, Rantaro made those pancakes that are like, a specific shape. You know those?"

"What?!" Himiko yelled. "And he never cooked for us?"

"I... didn't think I needed to."

"And he'd write little messages on the omurice for each individual sister. It was so cute."

"Y/N!"

You hummed. "Hm... Oh, and Kokichi nearly drowned because he didn't know how to swim."

"...That was a low blow right there."

"Low, but true."

"Oh, poor you."

"Kaito, don't even go there, you had a crush on one of my maids!"

Kokichi burst into laughter as Maki turned to him with her famous glare.

"Oh, you know what, I remember Rantaro and I would always be mistaken for a couple."

"Oh my gosh, I remember that!"

"Like, they'd be like, 'Oh, do you want the couple's discount?"

"And did you say yeah?"

"No, actually. One, because Rantaro sucks at lying, and two, because then they'll remember us as a couple."

"I don't know if Kiyo or Kokichi would like that, huh?"

"I would not." The two of them said simultaneously.

The day that you all hung out on felt like an eternity, but it also felt like it was no time at all. Soon enough, you were all saying goodbye and going on with your lives.

"Hey, Kokichi." You began as you lied in bed that night. "Why did you choose me?"

"What do you mean?"

"What made me so special?"

Kokichi thought for a moment. "Well, when I first met you, there was something about you that let me look you in the eye. Everyone else, all I knew was that they were terrible. But then you came and spoke to me, and I thought you were an Angel."

"Then there was in the End Wall. Before seeing my motive video, you still stood out. You accepted me, and didn't seem to get irritated with me. While you seemed to care about everyone else, you trusted me enough to hang out in my room, hug me, comfort me... You really saw right through me every time."

"And then there's now. You haven't left me, and you're not using me. I know when people are using me, and you're not. Does that answer your question?"

You smiled and cuddled up to him. "Yeah, it does."

You thought about everything leading up to this moment.

It was horrifying every time you heard the words, "A body has been discovered", and you'd always secretly pray it wasn't Kokichi. Every time you watched an execution, you somewhat felt that it was your fault.

But now you're all living like everyone else. With jobs, with partner, with kids, just... living.

This is what you wanted. This was your last thought as you let out that last muffled yell.

"Hey Kokichi?"

"Yeah?"

"Promise we'll be together... until death?"

"Passed that."

You smiled. "Alright... passed that. Promise?"

"Promise."
