2 weeks passed, all the hickies Jungkook left have faded and still no calls from him.
I just want to keep my job, is that too much to ask?
You frowned looking at your phone, while waiting for the another photoshoot to be set up.

"Yah! Stop staring at your phone, he'll call, trust me." Jeongyeon said.

"What if..."

"No what ifs, you'll end up calling him if you continued staring at your phone."

Jeongyeon is right, you were so close to calling him. But no! You have to let him know that he's not the boss of you.

"Hyerin-ssi, we're all set."
"Nae~" you went to the set.

Despite that you always been thinking of Jungkook, but your days are getting busy and busier. Currently, you have 15 projects in schedule for the next 3 months and more projects compiled just waiting for you to make your decision to sign and have contract with them.

== 2018 "Begin" Event ==

Invited to the opening event of a whole new year, Jeongyeon, Taehyung and you had attended.

"Taehyung! Jeongyeon!" A blonde hair blue eyes beautiful woman called.

"Wah!" They were both surprised seeing her here.
She is a designer from France and they were all classmates from the Art School.

She had her friends with her and you all started chatting in French, introducing, catching up, they were very friendly.

Jungkook saw you, for a moment he doubted, Hyerin?

You looked so beautiful and so different, your expressions, the way you talk, the way you smile, it all seemed like you're a different person, surrounded by people he doesn't know, speaking in a different language. You are his wife, but at that moment he felt like you are so far away.

You didn't notice him, giggling and chuckling with the crowd. They all went to get some drinks and you followed but your name was called,
"Hyerin-ssi?!!"

You turned around, it was Namjoon. He seemed happy, "Aigoo, ㅋㅋ to think you're here too, it's so great to see you!" Acting all shy, he is still a big fan.

"Oh! I know you're Hyerin, Jungkook's wife I mean, he told me ㅋㅋ , Jungkook is here too, you want me to call him?" He whispered.

Your eyes widened, you have missed him so much, but he didn't give you a call, you were thinking he's probably angry at you, not listening to him and leaving him again.

"No. He probably still doesn't wanna see me, we kinda had a little fight when I left." You giggled awkwardly and refused.

"Oh. But he's already walking his way here." Namjoon was looking at the direction behind you, made you turned around and looked. You got so nervous.

Jungkook was looking at you, staring..

"I think I should umm.. go get some drinks." Namjoon left.

He just stared at you, silent.

"How have you be-" You asked.
"Bogoshipda (I miss you)." Jungkook cut your line and replied, eyes gazing into yours, face looked serious.

You blushed up, heart beats faster, you didn't want to let him know that. OH MA GASH!! This is just too unfair! Calm down!! I will not be fluttered just because of his one sentence.

You furrowed your brows, and showed a blank face, "then.. then.. why didn't you call-"

"I didn't know what to say.." Jungkook swiftly replied, can't take his eyes off you.

You bit your lower lip, trying your hardest not to smile, pressing your lips into a thin line,
"Yi babo. (Stupid)" You uttered in a soft sound.

Jungkook smiled sweetly, "Aro. (I know)"
His heart melted just seeing you obviously holding in your smile.

Seeing him smiling struck your heart, both you and Jungkook just snorted at the same time.

Jungkook blushed seeing you so happy, he felt a relief, he looked away, and controlled his facial expression, clears his throat.

"I-" Jungkook cut by a sound calling your name.

"Hyerin-ah~" Taehyung called your attention from far away, holding a glass of drink.

He came close, noticing Jungkook, he spoke in French.
"I thought you got lost."
"Come on, Jeongyeon is finding you."

"But.."

"Excuse us." Taehyung smiled to Jungkook.
Taehyung was leading the way but your turned your head to Jungkook, with a sorry expression.
He smiled instead, "Go." He said in silent.

Jungkook wanted to grab your hands and just leave but he knows that you wouldn't want that.
You had a troubled look, because you have to go but wanted to stay with him.

Jungkook furrowed his brows, looking at you, arms linked to another guy's. He sighed. But it's formality, there's nothing he can do.

On your way to Jeongyeon's, Taehyung whispered, "so I was right? He is your ex-husband." He whispered to you ears with his deep voice.

You startled, "How'd you-"
"You mentioned his name a lot when you got drunk last time. I had doubts at that dinner when I saw him, but I didn't think that there'd be such a coincidence, and today again, ㅎㅎ I guess destiny is brought by many coincidences." He said.

Your eyes opened wide, you two didn't know each other for that long time, but for almost 2 weeks you were together because of work. Taehyung is usually smiley, humorous, but sometimes he say somethings like this and it deeply touches you.

You shyly smiled and whispered, "He is not my ex, though." "We are not divorced, which I just found that out recently too."

Taehyung smiled back seeing you smiling so sweetly, he suddenly pecked on your cheek.
You startled.

"You're just too cute, I just.." He said.
Well, Jeongyeon did said he is a playboy, you just let him pass this time, thinking it must be his habit, "Please don't do that again. It might lead to misunderstandings." You smiled and sighed, he is like a brother to you.

But you didn't know, Jungkook saw everything, and worse, Taehyung knew and glanced on Jungkook.

Only you didn't know what's going on. ㅋㅋ 🤣

Gathered with Jeongyeon, and socializing with all other people, it was all nice and fun but after seeing Jungkook made you miss him more.

You waited for the perfect timing and excused yourself.

On your way to go find Jungkook, suddenly...
