The next day, everything was peaceful. The only fact that was scaring me was, Ezhil was in the basement. He could come out of the basement and kill me anytime.

I felt someone hugging me from behind and I immediately recognised Arjun. I chuckled. Everything have become peaceful and I wish it lasts longer.

"Umm, what do you want?", I asked casually and he kissed my neck.

"Everyone's watching. Come on, leave me.", I said trying to get out of his hold but he was too strong to not let me move.

"Does it look like I care if anyone watches us?", He asked and I sighed.

"Thea, what about we have a cute baby? It will be good right?", He whispered across my ear.

"I'm not ready for that."

"Why aren't you? We're married and in what way should we get more ready?"

"You don't understand. I'm not mentally and physically ready for a baby. I'm scared."

"It's not like you're the only one who's going to go through the pain of pregnancy. Every woman out there are bearing it, nah.", He said.

I'm not scared of being pregnant but I'm scared of delivery. Because, there are no medicine or allopathic doctor here.

There are zero medical facilities here. If my pregnancy becomes complicated, I'm definitely dead.

"What if I die? There's many women dying out there too. Am I right?", I asked and he kissed my neck again.

"Like I'm going to let you die..", he said in disbelief.

"Well, maybe, when I'm ready, I will surely let you know.", I said.

"Well. Take your time. But, do tell me fast. I want a baby once I become the king.", He said and I chuckled humming.

I don't think I will be able to agree it because being a mother is a great responsibility. Also, thinking about the fact that I don't belong to this timeline makes me more scared to have any responsibility which is great.

I turned back to leave and my steps halted hearing his voice behind me.

"My father's going to announce me as crown prince next month. Care if you invite your family... Including your brother and half-sister.."

I know he was having ego on inviting my brother. As for Aarthi, he thinks I will be jealous if he invites her in person. Of course, I will.

I turned back to see him leaning on a wall while looking at me for any response.

"Yeah, I will make sure to invite them.. but, will you be with me when inviting everyone including my brother?"

"With the exception of your brother.."

"Don't be like that."

"I am what am I."

"Come on, he's really good. Even when I went missing in the forest, he was the one who helped me a lot. He searched me through the dense forest, didn't he?"

"We don't have to fight because of your brother.", He said and I kept mum.

"When is the royal party?"

"Party? What is that?"

"I mean, function.. when are you going to celebrate?"

"Next month, the moment after my father appoints me into crown prince."

"That's good. Congratulations.", I said and he smiled.

"You didn't give me any gift."

"I will give you after you become the crown prince of the dynasty.", I said and he chuckled.

One week passed like one day and it was finally the day when I'm going to my kingdom.

I asked some of my maids to pack my clothes and things since I was lazy. I got ready and wore a black dress in which I loved the design.

Mother is going to be mad because she is a typical woman who thinks that black is considered as a bad omen.

I went out as the maids were carrying my luggages. I looked at Arjun who was waiting for me.

"Finally, you're ready. Let's go?"

"We're going in horse or carriage?", I asked and he smirked.

"What do you prefer?", He asked coming dangerously close to me.

"I prefer horse since it's interesting but what about the luggages?"

"I have enough men to carry the luggages.", He said walking towards outside where Tharun and Keerthana entered the palace at the same time.

"How are you?", Keerthana asked and I smiled.

"I'm fine.. what about you?", I asked and she nodded. Arjun handed some keys in Tharun's hand and whispered something in his ear.

"Now, let's go..", he said to me and I nodded leaving with him. He got in the horse easily where there was me, who struggled more than 5 minutes to get in the house with his support.

I looked behind to see some of his soldiers taking our luggages in a carriage. The horse started and I held him tightly in order to not fall.

He started riding the horse where it started running fast. I wrapped my hands around his body from backside and laid my head on his back. I could feel him smirk though I can't see his face.

The horse started moving fast and I chuckled hugging him more tightly.

I made sure I don't fall asleep because falling asleep will make it delay. Though I like to be with him but I can't ride in a horse too long as it's exhausting.

It was finally evening and we reached my palace. I got down the horse, exhausted. It feels like my energy completely drained out.

"Tired?", He asked as he tied the horse. I hummed clinging on his hand.

He held my hand and we walked inside the house as my parents welcomed him and me warmly. I looked at Aarthi and her mother who was sitting in the couch glaring at us.

Tamizh smiled at me and glared at Arjun. I looked at them who was throwing daggers at each other. I cleared my throat where their eye contact got interrupted.

I entered inside the house where mother held my hand.

"Why are you wearing black?", Was her first question.

I kinda expected her to ask this when I wore this dress.

"But, Arjun said he loves this dress. You were the one who said husband's words are like a God's words for a wife, mother."

"I also remember saying you're not supposed to call your husband by name.", She said and I grinned.

"I'm sorry. I'll keep your words in mind."

"That's good. I have made your favourite snacks. So, fresh up and come downstairs to have your snacks.", She said and I nodded walking upstairs.

I entered my room and sighed. I missed this room. I felt someone pulling towards them just I was about to enter the bathroom.

His strong cologne hit my nose and I immediately recognised Arjun.

"You don't want hot water? Or, should I help you bath comfortably?", He whispered and I pushed his chest chuckling.

"Then, tell the maids to make hot water for me."

"Go and tell yourself. It's your palace, remember? Also, tell them to make me some. I'm tired.", He said and I sighed.

"I'm tired too.", I whined.

"I'm more tired compared to you, I guess."

"Okay, fine.", I said and went outside the room where a maid was passing by. I stopped her.

"Can you make us some hot water?", I asked and she nodded leaving immediately to make hot water. I went back inside the room to find him chilling in the bed.

After few minutes, the hot water was ready and I was the first to freshen up. I wore a brown dress along with minimal jewellery.

I came out to see him sleeping in the bed.

"Arjun, get up. The hot water is waiting for you. Come on, soon!", I yelled where he opened his eyes slightly.

"What?", He asked turning to me.

"Go and fresh up.", I said and he got up stretching his hands. Then, I left downstairs to have my snacks where he left to fresh up.

I looked at the dining table where Aarthi and her mother was already having their tea and snacks.

I settled in my seat and my mother served me tea and snacks. It was my favourite snacks.

I started eating my snacks and moaned in its taste.

"God! It's amazing. Thank you so much, mother..", I said as she was stroking my head.

"Arjun is going to like it so much. He loves this snacks."

"Is he taking care of you well? I heard an arrow was about to pierce you few days ago.", Tamizh said and my eyes widened.

"What the- you still didn't stop spying his palace?"

"Why should I? Am I doing this to war against him? No, right.. I'm thing this just for my sister."

"He's going to surely kill you if he comes to know-"

"What's happening? Who's going to kill whom?", Arjun's voice cut me off and I looked between Arjun and Tamizh and then lowered my head back to the snacks.

He took a seat beside me and looked at me while sipping tea.

"I asked you something.", He said and I gulped.

"Uhh, nothing. It's just that I said Tamizh that you will kill him if he..."

"If he?"

"If I dare to be careless in the mattar of Ezhil.", Tamizh finished and I sighed.

"Yeah, it was your carelessness that Ezhil escaped and came to the palace to kill her.", Arjun said and Tamizh shot a sharp glare at Arjun.

"It's also your soldiers' carelessness that they let Ezhil in even though they know he's not in the royal family anymore.", Tamizh said and Arjun glared back at him.

"First carelessness and mistake is yours. I accept that I have fault in my side but the first fault is yours. Can you tell me what your soldiers were doing in the border of the kingdom to let Ezhil out?"

"Don't make me talk, arjun."

"As if I care"

"Come on stop it-", before I could finsih my sentence, Tamizh got up from his seat where Arjun was still sipping his tea.

"Apologise to him.", I said to Arjun which he completely ignored.

"What is even wrong with you, Tamizh? He's our special guest. So, I think you should be the one to apologise.", Aarthi said to Tamizha as he turned his face to other side.

Aarthi placed her hand on Arjun's though where I passed her a sharp glare. I want to shout 'he's but your husband anymore' at her but I kept mum.

"Come on, don't worry. I apologise on his behalf. You know, he's always an angry guy.", She said in a seducing voice.

She's flirting with him..

I threw her hands off him as he was smirking at me which I was hardly trying to ignore.

"It's okay. I'll forgive your brother just for you..", Arjun said and I looked at Tamizh.

"I will forgive your husband for you..", Tamizh also said to me and they were throwing daggers at each other.

I could feel a cold war going between them.

Also, thinking about the spies, I'm scared about Arjun. How will he react when he comes to know that?

"You should've come alone.", He said and turned his face to other side.

"I'm her husband. I will be with her each and every fucking time. What will you do?", Arjun challenged him.

"Stop it, Tamizh! He's our guest. Come on, apologise to him.", Mother yelled as Arjun was having a proud smirk on his face.

Tamizh, who was beyond mad, left the place immediately and made his way outside the palace. Soon, Aarthi and her mother left to their respective rooms after having their tea and snacks.

Mother also left to her room leaving us alone.

"Why your brother have to be so stubborn?", He said while placing his empty cup in the table.

After that, he left to the room where I was alone. I have no idea what's wrong with Arjun and Tamizh.
