Sidharth's POV:

She fainted!?!

She is shivering!?!?

Her voice was so low! What is wrong with her?

She looks so pale!

Her lips, parted and losing their color.

Why are her hands and feet so damn cold?!

Why?!?!?

Abhi was just behind me, panicked as I was. I carried her to the mats and he dumped down in front of us.

"Hey, bunny! Get up! Did you forget your medi again? Damn it! Get up bunny!" He accused tapping her cheek furiously.

I took her palms in mine and rubbed them, trying to get some warmth inside her. Cursing under his breath, he grabbed the nearby water bottle and sprinkled some drops on her face.

A few moments later her eyebrows crunch up with her lips closing. I immediately pulled her to me slowly so she could rest against me than the hard ground.

A groan came from her as she pulled her hand to her forehead mumbling a plea for water and Abhi instantly provides.

"Wha- what happened?" Kaira groaned in pain.

"That I should ask!" Abhi snapped "You forgot your tablets didn't you!?"

She groaned again, reaching out I slowly caress her forehead easing the crinkles and she relaxes slightly.

"Someone turn off that torn speaker, please!" She grumbled. A huffing Abhi poked my Kaira in ribs before walking out of the circle everyone formed around us, dispersing them on his way.

When I look up, I see everyone getting to work on putting up the tent. Kaira rests her head on my shoulder as she sits up which immediately gains my full attention.

"You need a pain killer?"

"No, I'll be good in 2 mins."

I don't believe so I pull her close, keeping her in my arms is the only thing that assures me.

"Why do you get feats? " My curiosity had the best of me and I asked.

"Don't know- I used to get them from a very young age." She confessed against my neck. I didn't reply, instead tightened my hold on her.

I'll have to ask mum about it, after all, she was the one looking after her when she was small. I'll do that, tomorrow. Taking care of her now is more important than knowing what happened in past.

I walk through our group chatting in the morning after brushing my teeth and go back to the tent.

Yes, Kaira wasn't up yet.

Last night, after she felt stronger and the tent was set up, girls practically dragged Kaira with them to their side of the tent which was covered with mats and shawls. But now, I am going to check up on her first.

Funny how I say first when all I did last night was look at her change positions while sleeping before actually going to sleep.

This time, I find her sleeping in on her stomach with her legs shaped like she was running in her sleep. I smile looking at her childish positions and tiptoe to her.

Grumbling she turned on her back, her loose hair disturbing. Shaking my head I bend over and brush her hair out of her face.

Her eyelids open with a start and-

"Ahh!" She screamed jumping to a sitting position real quick, in her process, she pulled her shawl closer to her "What are you doing here!? Trying to kill me in sleep?"

I laughed "If I wanted to, I had better chances before. I'm not that crazy to try anything with witnesses around. And-" My eyes soften as I whisper "-It's beyond me to even think of seeing you hurt."

She stared at me for more than two seconds before rubbing her eyes cutely, yawning then she sits up straight as if remembering something "Wait! Is milkshake up yet? Any difference you see in his behavior?"

Honestly, I didn't see anything other than the girl's side of the tent when I woke up. But in the background, I probably noticed Abhi's big smile and heard him whistle as he played with his guitar.

Updating her with what I saw him doing, she groaned once more as she hid her face behind her palms.

"I forgot what his ways are to get back to me! Damn! That Priya really messed up with my mind! And you know the worst part!?" She looked curiously, shaking my head I urged her to continue "He is going to annoy the hell out of me and I can't even hit him!"

"Hmm I see, I just didn't get why you can't? It'd be interesting."

"Everything is interesting to you or what? But- That's what he wants! He will annoy me so that I punch him or anything that indicates we are back to normal. I don't want to forgive him until he realizes his mistake, do you get me?"

Slowly her words form meaning and I nodded. His mistake, right, he needs to understand what he did was wrong.

"Okay, if he acts out of line, I'll punch him. Happy?" I offered.

Why not? Its the best time to get my revenge on him! That bloody! He was so-

I didn't get to complete my thought as Kaira snapped "Of course not! Only I can insult my best friend, even you are supposed to respect."

Narrowing my eyes at her, I say "Look I understand he is your best friend and I won't interfere. But you also said you won't too, with my best friends. He has messed this up and we can't help it, so better we cooperate."

She frowned before grumbling a quick "Okay."

Smiling, I get up and offer her a hand. Hand in hand we joined our group out.

Abhi's smile widened when he spotted us, his eyes having a mischievous glint and I instantly understood what she was implying.

"Aye, Bunny there you are! You know-"

Ignoring him, she walked straight to her friend Sreeti's side. Discussing with her on she knows what.

"Tsk tsk, try harder next time." I smirked as I stood beside him.

He glared at me "Wait for your turn, I'm going make it so hard for you to get back at her!"

My smirk not faltering, I join everyone with him hot on my heels.

"Psst, psst! Bunny! Psst!" He was going on trying to get on her nerves. She ignored. I smiled.

I heard we were heading to some cabin after some sightseeing which was in the middle of woods, it also has a lake beside it.

Abhi was on his best to annoy her, get her attention everywhere we went, which of course she didn't give. To whatever said or done, she was engrossed in talk with Sreeti and her other friends, even me sometimes.

It was after our lunch stop that we continued on our way. Karthik was driving with Kabir beside him, I was in the middle with Kaira and Abhi by my sides.

I know, not a place of peace.

"Yes, Badi ma." Abhi was on phone and I literally could feel Kaira rolling her eyes. He went on talking to her mother like his own as he was 6yr old who can't live without his mom.

At last, he passed it to me and hissed "Pass it to the creature beside you, someone wants to talk to her."

"I'm not here to babysit your big boy, mom. Is anything more important- if that's all- ya... no- hmm, fine. Ask Shreya to call me when she is free." She said into the phone as soon as I passed and hung up.

"I think I'll do with little more sleep." She whispered leaning on my shoulder. Smiling I adjusted it for her comfort. Our friends were having another one of their gossip exchange.

After 2 hours of driving, we reach our destination. Karthik stops the car and everyone looks out of the window to gape at the natural beauty.

Everyone gets down and I decide to wake my lovely would-be-wifey up so she could explore around too.

"What? Haven't seen something this beautiful?" Kaira's jolly voice is heard and there she stood grinning like a kid.

"This is beautiful. When did you find this one?" Sreeti asked and her friends nodded in approval as we walk into the house.

"Bhai bought this plot some years back, I had come here twice before though, I finalized it for him. We are the first recipients to be here, so check it out thoroughly." She announced.

Well, the interior was actually beautiful and it smelled natural wood. I love this place already, seeing her tracing some patterns on it so lovingly.

"Okay now go fresh up. That one there is your boys' room and that one is our girls. Hurry up, we don't have time if we want to take a dip in the lake!" Kaira announces and Samaira literally runs up to their room with her bags while we are still dumped on the couches.

Soon most of us were done with showers and were waiting on the couch. I was busy reading emails on my phone when I felt the space to my right being occupied I turned to see a Kaira smiling as she listens to voice on other side.

"Relax Shreya, what happened? Why are you hyperventilating so much?"

"Do you even know what just happened!?" Even I could hear her voice.

"Nope, that's why I'm asking."

"Your in-laws were home for lunch! And everyone was discussing- do you want to know what?"

I could see Kaira's curiosity building, I smiled. I might know what is all going on. I heard it home as well, but then I didn't get to know their conclusion.

"What! Come on!" Kaira urged impatiently.

"Your marriage dates!" Shreya squealed on the other side. As soon as she heard, her eyes met mine.

It was the same happiness and excitement that pulled a smile across our faces slowly.

"-Are you even listening!? I'm going to tell you the dates and you have to decide. Take Sidharth into consideration as well, okay? Look there are 3 dates in December- 1st, 18th, and 31st. December is coming soon so we have to start arrangements from now, so you better hurry-"

We were not listening to her anymore, my eyes that noted the numbers were raking over them in my mind. Looking at her she was probably doing the same.

"1st is nice" I mumbled softly "But then-"

Making her decision she sat up straight, nudging me "Why not 31st!? It's the best!"

I grinned at her "You just stole my thoughts!"

"31st December it is!" She announced in her phone. Everything went silent. Even our group of friends wandering and talking around were beside us. Silence hovered over the other side as well.

"I told you she will choose that one! I know her better than you!" Came another voice from the other side. It was her brother.

She grinned "Yes Bhai, of course."

As soon as she bid goodbye to her family and kept her phone to her side, Abhi pounced on us. Yes quite literally!

"Ew get off!" She tried to push from her side but he tightened his hold.

"I'm so happy for you! Oh, it's exciting-" He mumbled merrily.

"Says the one who wasn't even there for engagement? Ha! Out of it!" She ducked under his arm and went to the kitchen.

Abhi sighed beside me, his arm still over my shoulder "I better start rectifying my mistakes."

"That would be a good thing to start with" Patting him on his shoulder I shrug his arm off me and made my way to the kitchen to make myself instant coffee.

It was good thing I drink without sugar, add hot water and instant coffee powder, voila!

I joined my friends that now occupied dinning table when Kaira comes to tell us "Get out your swimming suits and goggles we are going in the lake"

"Whoa! What all comes in this girl's mind?" Karthik says walking to our room.

"Lot of things." I grin digging into my bag.

"Let's see what your girl has in her mind, for now." Kabir pats my back gesturing to go.

"She can be crazy when she wants to be." Abhi laughed beside me. I couldn't agree more.

We joke till we reach the starting of the lake and when we do, we are welcomed by the girls playing in the water, splashing it on each other.

My friends are gaping at their girlfriends but my eyes are trained on the beauty which will be mine in just a few months.

She is wearing this girl's 2 piece swimming costume, her swimming pants ended just before her knees and her top was a crop top exposing her bellybutton exciting me with the cloth sticking closely to her body at the right places.

Her curves...! Damn it!

Wearing only my black shorts I dive in the water beside Kabir, Karthik, and Abhi.

Just when I turn to girls, brown naive eyes lock with mine, I smirk at her and receive a wink.

"She's hot, isn't she?" Abhi whispered beside me.

"Yes" I breathe "But she is mine. Stay away."

He smirked "Not yet! Remember 31st is when she will be yours completely. She can even leave before that or make you leave."

"That's very less likely. Me leaving her ever that is." I announce swimming towards Kabir and Karthik. He raced towards them as well, spurting from behind he gave Kabir a push who squealed like a girl.

Our laugh ceased when girls joined us.

"Did you bring goggles?" Kaira asks as soon as they reach us "Are you sure you guys want to go inside? I mean if you are afraid, you can stay back." She suggests Karthik who immediately jumps in to defend.

Samaira once again had to break their bickering and my girl just rolls her eyes going back to give some simple instructions.

I bet she memorized them from the learner's guide on YouTube.

Once we are in we open our eyes to see the underwater natural beauty. For the second time I'm shaken with the sheer beauty of underwater life, some types of fishes I could hardly name. Then the rocks, water plants- shells and sand was at far below on the bed.

We separate in groups exploring on our own. After a few mins I see Kaira swimming swiftly towards me and when I ask her with gestures she shows her palms that were in light fists, opening them a small goldfish runs always from us.

I grin giving her a thumbs-up sign.

I spot Karthik swimming towards Samaira holding a beautiful water flower and I gesture her towards them. She looks at them with awe.

Too bad my girl doesn't like flowers or it would have been easy to make her happy. Wait! There are shells down there, I can find a bigger one! Great! She loves nature, she should love it too!

Grinning mentally, I start searching for my masterpiece shell, soon I find one.

Going back to where I left her, I cover her eyes over the goggles pressing my chest to her back slightly.

She turns smiling and I hand her the special shell I got for her. Her eyes widen slightly as she traces the carvings with her fingers then draws it to her face and places a kiss on it.

God! This isn't fair! I do the work and the damn shell gets advantage!? I should get a kiss rather than that nonliving shell!

My eyes are trained to her lips taking in their movement.

Damn those lips! They look so juicy- the water makes them look plump and let's them shine in their own color -they attract my attention even more towards them.

Before I could control my thoughts, my hands jump into action as I gently pull her to me using her forearm.

Her eyes widen then travel along with mine which are intensely staring at her eyes, threatening to consume me whole and I didn't mind it, at all. Instead, I wanted to drown in them more.

I cup her left cheek and slowly brush my thumb against her skin as I lean forward. Not long after, my lips are just an inch away from hers and I could feel her heart beating faster against my chest with our proximity.

Smiling to myself I slide my palm to the back of her neck and slowly pulled closer which decreases the space between our faces.

Just a small move and-

Tilting my head at an angle I lean in to finally brush my lips to her soft ones, slowly. They were soft, tempting and more than that, addictive. At that instant I knew, I'm going to be very addicted to kissing her lips.

Oh, fuck it!

Losing my control I lead, initiating our first kiss.

Immediately on accord her arms wrap around my neck pulling me closer simultaneously responding to the kiss.

I want her, no! I need her..! I need her so damn badly!

It was slow at the start but soon became a rough and passionate one instantly as we somehow manage to swim higher towards the surface. I drew her lower lip between my teeth and she moaned against my lips, parting hers to give my tongue its way in and we were fighting for dominance.

I try to pull her closer if possible and just as we spurted to the surface, she gave up fighting and I explored her mouth hungrily. Her lips making me want more and never stop. Like a drug.. addictive.. wanting all of it.

How much ever I don't want to leave her just yet, I had to as she was clearly running out of breath.
