The two brothers stared at each other, neither one saying a word. Jeff had obviously just woken up from the noise, because his hoodie and shirt were still off, exposing his purple and white skin, along with other scars he had gathered throughout his past. His breathing was still ragged; it was the only noise in the room. You slowly began to reach for him, but Sully made your hand recoil at his cold, icy voice. "Well, well. Look who came to play hero*." His face twisted into a sickening smirk. "Should've stayed in bed*. I mean, you are so weak, after all. You couldn't even defend yourself against your friend-emy." You stood up to say something, but the room started to spin around you. You were falling when two arms caught you.

"You should be laying down, dumb-ass." His eyes were gentle and. . . sparkling. You blushed and puffed your cheek.

"Why do people keep calling me that?" you asked, weak sass in your voice.

"As beautiful as this moment is, I'm afraid I have to break it up." You look over to see Sully lunging towards you. Nimbly,Jeff threw you in the air and swung a kick into his brother's side. As he slid across the floor, you fell into your savior's arms. Yes, you knew that he was always smiling, but it seemed so much more caring. . . thoughtful. . .protective. This couldn't possibly be the same Jeff, right? Yeah, he's still recovering, and it's making him weird.

"You sure do like what you see, huh, girly?" he grinned, obviously teasing you. You felt your face grow warm as you whipped your head away, causing your [hair color] locks to fly with you.

"Don't fool yourself, grinny." He was about to say something, but spun out of the way as Lui lunged at him once more.

"Could you please just let me have a romantic moment here!?" Jeff shouted angrily. You went red

R-Romantic moment?

An insane cackle erupted from his mouth, settling his gaze on you. "Sorry, brother, but [Name] is my doll. We'll have so much fun, dear~. You just have to die first." You knew it sounded too weird to be scared if you were watching a horror movie or a yandere story, but this was real life, and it was fucking terrifying. He slowly pulled his knife from his brown hoodie and licked it, his eyes never leaving you. For once in your life, you were actually terrified; shivers and shakes ran throughout your body. This was a new feeling, and you didn't like it at all.

Jeff seemed to notice this, and he wrapped his arms around your trembling form. "Hey, I'm not gonna let Sully touch you." He kissed the top of your head gently before whispering, "I promise."

"Don't make promises you can't keep, jack-ass!" Gently, the black-haired male tossed you on the bed and ran after Sully. He grabbed him my his throat and pinned him against the wall.

"You do not get to touch her again, you understand? You will not kill her. You better watch your step now. I almost killed you once, I will finish the job this time." His words came out, low and dark like that of a snake's. The brothers stared at each other, and silence finally settled in between them.

Finally, Sully finally whispered, "Do your worst." Jeff seemed momentarily conflicted, but quickly tightened his grip around his neck, making his brother gasp for air. Slowly, a knife appeared from the white hoodie and was slowly risen, a small amount of light reflecting off of it. You sat in pure shock and fear. Quickly, the sharp weapon came down, but stopped just as fast.

"You children are going to make me die of stress!!" You were frozen, paralyzed in fear. After a moment of processing what happened, you slowly looked over to the doorway. Slenderman was standing in the middle of it, and he did not look happy. Suddenly, Jeff and Lui collapsed on the, writhing in pain. "I'll take them away." Three of his tendrils picked up Jeff, Lui, and EJ (who, honestly, you had forgotten was there.) "Now, my dear girl, rest! You will only get more sick, and then we're gonna have three people fighting, blaming the other two." You looked at him in confusion. "Jeff, Lui, and Toby," he clarified.

You nodded. "S-Sorry, sir." He seemed to smile gently.

"You have done nothing wrong. Now, rest." He carried everyone off and closed the door behind him. Silence filled the room once more as you tried to process what just happened. You failed, though, because slumber overtook you in minutes.
